POOR MANAGEMENT...…I lived in Lakeland apartments for an year. I moved out on Oct 31st,2020. I paid 500$ deposit when signing the lease. When moving out we got the carpets Professionally cleaned, Cleaning and mopping the floors was done, Windows are cleaned, washrooms are neat. Every thing was pretty much how they gave us(or better than that). After calling them so many times, I received my first deposit check on Jan 4th 2021which was 150$, then I called them back and explained them the condition of the house when I moved out, they agreed it was their fault . The person who spoke to me on phone said the apartment looks very clean in the photos and apologized me for deducting money at initial place. They told me that the property manager was new and she might have deducted it by mistake. Based on our conversation I am supposed to receive 250$ check. I waited for a month and then started calling them, they are so rude, dont want to take responsibility and they dont have tracking information. On Feb 18th when I called them again, they said they can cancel the earlier check that they have sent me and mail me a new one for which I have to pay 15$ as an adjustment fee. I understand 15$ is not a big amount, but my question is why would I pay a single penny when It was not my fault and I waited so long(almost 4 months) for my money. Today they are asking me to speak to a Lawyer or wait until I receive a check and they are not sure If I will receive one. I will wait for one more week for the check and planning to complain Department of HUD with the pictures I had when I moved in, moved out, and our phone call conversations. I dont want somebody else to go through the same thing. These guys should stop playing with peoples money.I have lived in US for 6 years now and never had issues with any of the Property management people. Most of the managers are very welcoming and helpful. I really wish my post helps for someone who is looking for hazel free move out.

Its Tuesday afternoon and Ive called and no one picks up their phone. Supposedly theyre open but I havent been able to get a single person on the phone.

I moved here for a year ago, after my children, fiancé and I lost our home to a house fire. For that year, we have been dealing with an elderly woman whom has threatened to call the police on my children, MY CHILDREN. For playing at 2pm. We have complained that this woman has been terrorizing us, banging on our floor all hours of the day. Asked 3 times to try and move apartments with no help. Now a year later we are being told our lease will not be renewed due to complaints. They are discriminating against my age(I am 27, the woman is 95) and against having children, as we are the only unit in our building with children. We had to change our way a living because of this woman. We have lived in 3 other apartments in 4 years, only because we always ended up needing more space. We have never, EVER, been complained about and our landlords always loved us. If I was a bad tenant, I would be womanly enough to admit this. But our children are in bed every night by 7pm, and are at their grandparents on the weekends, because we work all hours on the weekends. So a year ago I lost my home to a fire, this year I lose it to an elderly woman who complained louder than we did. Thank you, Property Managment & Maintenince LLC.
