Very personable, friendly, and human. Dan and Rena are great people, and build great relationships with their customers.Id advise doing Dan a favor and calling ahead for appointment. Also, as he is a personal barber, clarify what services he can offer at any time. He will arrange to suit.If you want a Salon experience, thats not this. If you want a very close relationship, where you have 1:1 attentiveness, Dan is your man.

Barber Dans is a fantastic Barber Shop -- It has that old school feel to it. You will get a really good, quality haircut here... these guys take their time with you and add on nice touches like warm shaving cream and a straight edge to clean up the back of your neck, and a neck massage at the end. They still use the old style talcum powder too. You can also get a hot shave here as well. This place is not a Supercuts, the prices are a little higher, but you pay for quality. Best Barber in the Bay area by far. I have been coming here for years and have always liked the way I look when finished. Dan is also the only Barber I have found within 100 miles that can do a great beard trim!

Always very pleased when I sit in Dans chair! Some hair cuts are a little over, under & need a day or two to even out (it seems). A trim with Dan is just right, each time, straight from the chair.

This was my first time going to Dan but it wont be the last.Finding a traditional mens Barber is hard to do, Dan truly meets this description from the neck shave to the neck massage and a great unhurried hair cut.Thanks Dan for keeping the tradition alive.

While its a bit hard to find the front door of Barber Dans, its worth searching for it. (Hint: Its around back.) The quality of the barbering is great and I am very happy to say I was and am a satisfied customer.

Went to Norms to get my son a haircut but it was booked for the day. Called here and it was wide open; now we know why. $30 and the cut was terrible. Had to fix it when we got home. Can get this cut or better for $10 at two other places in town.

Expensive. $30 for a haircut that should have cost $15. My barber wreeked of smoke and argued over how short I wanted my hair to be. I went for a simple haircut and they try to give me half-ass deluxe treatment when I didnt ask for it. Kind of bumped about the haircut and upset about the customer service. WYI they dont offer military or senior discounts.

Always get a good cut from these three... Rima (spelling) is my go to.

I showed up and there was 1 person in the chair and that was it. The lady cutting hair barely glanced at me and said, Were closed already. I was there 20 minutes until close. Thats crappy customer service. Change your hours of operation if you need to. Jeez.
