This place really does not have their stuff together. I use to come here all the time bow it’s impossible to get a haircut without waiting at least an hour. They are so understaffed/rushed they basically just plow through your hair just to get to the next one. DO NOT RECOMMEND. Lucy is basically the only person who works there worth seeing but good luck with that.

This is simply the best barber shop in Pleasanton. Believe me. Ive been to all of them almost. There are no better barber shops. If there were a better barber shop in Pleasanton California, I dont know about it. Therefore, this is the best one. I recommend you go here

The hair stylist did a boy cut to my 3 year old daughter though I was telling her round shape and showed pictures.. very disappointed.. now it takes minimum 4 to 5 months to the hair grow for my daughter.. never take girl kids to this Supercuts saloon

DO NOT, DO NOT take your daughter here for a hair cut. Our 11 year old wanted to donate her hair to Wigs for Kids and we made it very, very clear that she wanted to keep a straight cut on the shoulders - yes her hair was long enough. The hairdresser did a HACK JOB. There was a 3 inch difference between her top hair layer and bottom hair layer. To try and cover it up, she just kept cutting off more and more hair. Even grandma would have done a better job. They took NO ownership of their mistake and MADE us PAY for it in the end. After crying for a number of hours, Gary Patricks Salon fixed it - for free I might like to add. I will NEVER use this place again.

Absolutely poor service. Called over the phone and the asian lady, seemingly manager ( as she was alone) was completely rude. I asked a simple question as to if SuperCuts did a service (tip coloring) which Ive gotten before at the Bay Fair location. I said Goodmorning and i asked her if they do tip coloring? First she asked me what that was then understood when I said highlights. She said yes and I told her okay because I’m at another Supercuts that doesn’t do the service at all & was wondering before I come in just to make sure I don’t have to drive all the way to find out I can’t get it done. She said the only reason why she couldn’t do it is because if my hair is too short, which I told her the BayFair location did it with it being shorter (not to be rude) so it shouldn’t be too much of a difference. She started arguing with me over the phone like if you don’t want to come here go to BayFair and that was far from the point. So I told her you know what I’m not going to argue or discuss this over the phone so I drove 15 mins to the location and guess what? She denied me service because my hair was” too short”. Lol I was wearing a hat and my hair is patted down I have 4-5 inches of hair if she actually looked.I don’t know if these Supercuts are corporate run or franchised.. but I will say that since I was 13 (I’m 27 now) instances like this (terrible representation of your brand) are reasons why people talk poorly about this place when they do. Affordable prices, but you pay for the service and quality that you get.Not coming back anytime soon.

Always get my haircut here. The hairdressers are nice and personable while being professional as well. Quality of the haircut is exceptionl. Never had an complaint. Ive becoming here for over 5 yearsl now. Wait is normally 10 -15 minutes. Longest had to wait maybe 30 minutes at the most. Yay!

This place is awfully slow. Despite of online appointment I was late by 35 mins. The people working there try to forcefully sell stuffs.

The hair stylist is friendly and understands what you need.But Supercuts increased the hair cut price .It is now $25 which I feel lil expensive..!!

Cardin did the most amazing job meticulously cutting each section of my hair as if it were a masterpiece. I had never experienced anyone devoting so much attention to making sure each cut was perfect. I will go here again and I will request him for sure!

Update, 2021 reunion! still pleased with this SuperCuts for about 5 years now. very happy to see Lucy Hannah after reopening, post-lockdown.Original post; Lucy and Hannah are the greatest! My son wont let anybody else touch his hair. It’s really nice to have a place like this it doesn’t have a lot of turnover with the staff

Sally Torres-Gil, an employee at the Supercuts on Santa Rita road was very rude and offensive after I declined to tip her. She said it was mandatory to tip and I said I don’t feel like it since she hadn’t done a great job anyways. Then she continued to say that it’s the culture here - as if I don’t know the culture since I’m a man of color. I declined again and she told me not to come there anymore and that she doesn’t want to cut my hair ever again. Overall, very rude and disrespectful. I’ve had great encounters with other hair stylists at Supercuts but Sally was horrendous.

Hands down the worst service I have ever received. Stylist spent the whole time complaining about how long my hair was and how difficult it was to cut long hair (there can be no way my hair was the longest she’s ever cut). I tried to correct her when she misheard me, but she shook it off and continued to do what I asked her NOT to do. She told me to hurry up and get it over with because there were people in line (not my problem, and this was caused because she didn’t listen to me the first few times I told her what I wanted). In general she was rude, impatient, and she did not listen to me and did her own thing. Will not be coming here ever again.

Sat there for well over an hour. No one tells you how long the wait is. People who booked online went ahead of me which is fine but no one tells you. You sir and sir and sit and no one says anything. That experience sucked.

Im pretty surprised at all the negative reviews. The last thing I want to do with my free time is get a hair cut, but these guys get me in and out much faster than my local salon and the work is meticulous. $19 is a fair price for a mens cut these days, and the free hot towel massage is a nice touch. There might be a minor language barrier here but they are always friendly and eager to please.

The staff is not that friendly and theyre pushy to sell hair products even when a customer has stated theyre just there for a cut. When I came in there was a fair wait time for me and my wife. With our names next to each other on the list, I expected to go right after her. However, a friend of theirs came in without an appointment and got a cut before me but after my wife.

If you don’t open at 8am as shown on google then please change it on google, this will help your customers not wait outside your store hoping someone would open. I waited for 25 mins till 8:25 am and then left.Thanks

Went in there today for a cut, I have been here before... while sitting waiting my turn this woman (short red hair) cutting this kids hair did not know that the kids brother already paid for his cut and went next door. She questioned the kid (who looked 14 years old maybe?) on why he was leaving without paying, one of the other women working there said that he was already paid for.She blew up on this kid saying where is my tip! You owe me 15% go get it now. I dont work for free!Who does this to a kid?? Shame on youWell she is not getting any of my money. Lost customer

I walked in with my younger brother at 10:45 for an online check-in we made for 10:45 am. Lucy, the woman closest to the register, looked at us and looked away. We were the only ones in line, and right after an older white man walked in behind us. For context, we are Indian. She started to converse with him and he mentioned he had an appointment at 11:00 am, and she asked his name. She still has not acknowledged us or asked us anything even though we’re standing in front of him. Finally I said we have an appointment too, and she looks at the screen and says it was at 10:30 and now it’s 10:46 so we had to wait. I said no, it’s at 10:45, and then she went back to cutting the hair of another child.My mother calls to let them know that her behavior is not at all acceptable, and another lady, Hanna, takes my brother. Lucy now essentially loses her mind, and starts shouting at me in front of all the other customers as well as the one she was taking care of. She says that it’s not right for my mother to call and shout at her as she’s a working person and did nothing wrong. I tried not to engage but she wouldn’t stop bickering so I said, ‘I felt completely disregarded by you when I walked in, and moreover you told me I was late when I wasn’t and then ignored me.’ I also let her know that I too worked in customer service and I know what it’s like. She gets super defensive and says that I told her the appointment was at 10:30 am, and that she said I would be next in line. She NEVER said these words to me and I never said it was 10:30 am. She also treated every other customer (who were all white) with such great service that I just felt wronged.Another lady with red hair then told me to move out of the way and sit down, suddenly I felt targeted by them all. Hanna finished the hair cut and seemed to be the only calm one, but then me $19.99. I let her know that my brother is 12 and thus it should be $17.99, as the cost list states ‘12 and Under.’ She said no, and I just let it go at that point. I will never be returning here. I read the reviews of this place after and many negative experiences were primarily reported by Indian people, and these type of micro-aggressions and not to mention the inability to receive feedback in a calm manner displays a sheer lack of professionalism.

Worst hair cut place EVER. I went there today and they assigned me to a chair that still had two of the previous customers hair on the chair and the floor. It was disgusting. They cut my hair and I asked them to cut it shorter and she replied, We have other customers waiting in line. I cant cut again. I asked to get more layers. Again, their reply was No, I cant give you more layers. We are busy. This is going to be it. They told me to get out to pay when I told them that I still wanted to cut more of my hair. Terrible service and horrible condition. My hair looks so bad I seriously cant even look at the mirror. Never would I go there again and hopefully this will convince people of how HORRIBLE this place is and not go there again so that there will be no more victims like me.

I went to Supercuts recently and the staff were not helpful and were only taking care of customers that they knew of. I had booked an appointment and I walked in and I had to wait while the customer that stood behind me got helped. I felt completely ignored and I was waiting and all the staff went on with their business.

This is the worst supercuts I have ever been to. I went here for an haircut today and wrote my name down. The struck my name out and started taking people who came there after me.When I enquired they lied to me and said that the other folks had appointments and did not accept their mistake. The lady did not even want to serve me. These people are just racists. To top it off they wanted extra tip for my haircut. So ridiculous.

My daughter had a very bad experience this morning.. never going back there again..
