It happened again took my son to get a haircut the guy at the front said it will cost 20 dollars but when the barber was done he charged 30 dollars this place is a rip off. We will no longer visit this shop we’ll now be going to CROSSOVER shop check it out the at this location are trustworthy and honest.Took my son to this barbershop to get an edge up and trim some off the top the cut was Mediocre at best. After the cut the guy ask for 25 dollars for an edge up and trim… I wouldn’t mind paying that price if the haircut was better than average. I suggest the Owner post price point letting customers know what they will pay for a less than average haircut…

Too expensive, not kid friendly, and not terribly clean as well. I stopped going after my son (he was a toddler at the time) was cut twice on two separate occasions. Yet the barber still wanted a huge tip despite the high price for the cut and his bad job (mind you I was holding my son and he barely moved). I would advise to look at other options

My sons barber gave him a decent cut. My main concern was hygene. At the end, he didnt go over his cut with an alcohol towlette like most barbers do to ensure he doesnt end up with bumps. Other than that,it was a decent cut for the price.

Went there with my 4 year old.We were told to go to a station far back .The guy didnt want to cut my sons hair so he completely ignored us.No hello no nothing.So we sat there with embarrassment.He had no client either.Nonetheless we sat there, 5 mins later a lady barber directed us to another barber.He did a good job, my son loves getting haircuts but Never going there,as a single mom its hard to find good barbers but this one was the worst

A family friendly environment that was very clean and comfortable. The place is also very well decorated with entertainment available throughout. I recommend this place to anyone looking to look great with a fabulous haircut.

I have officially found my new barbershop! I’ve been trying to grow my hair out from a bad haircut for a month and I found Ya the Barber on Instagram. I’m so glad I did! She is very professional, has a great personality and I showed her a picture of the haircut I wanted and I ended up with a cut that was so much better than the picture! The other barbers are very friendly and ask if you’ve been helped (we all know about those shops that just let a new person walk in and they don’t greet them at all. Not here though!) and they are all very skilled. They all even say “Goodbye, see you later!” when you leave. Excellent customer service! All of the barbers can handle the clippers. Every person that left during my cut all had sharp edge ups and very clean fades. I definitely recommend this shop and 100% recommend booking with Ya the Barber.

I came a few times and enjoyed the service I got. The last time I was left waiting on a dude that knew I was coming, acknowledged me walking on and then cut two heads off the street. I could have dealt with it if they were call ins but I called him earlier in the day and he told me he didnt do call ins. Im cool and back on the hunt for a new barber home.

Place is great, fantastic and quick service

The barbers here really know what theyre doing, and the atmosphere is welcoming. Even when crowded they are pretty efficient, so it shouldnt take you long to see someone and find yourself on your way. The only possible drawback is the price. A adult cut with no designs or shave is about 25 dollars now.

I walked in based on a “google review” of the barber in the back right corner by the name of “Black” he was very professional and took pride in his work and I appreciated the attention to detail. Definitely worth the wait. 🚨 New Client 🚨

So, this was my first time going here. I arrived at 4:06 and they close at 5pm. There were two other walkins in front of me. One gentleman was helped by female barber whose chair is in the far back on the left who had just finished with a client. Another female barber with a short cut finished with a client and just started cleaning up and didn’t care that there were two clients waiting.A male barber in the first chair on the left when you walk in finished his client and proceeds to start shaving his own head. A second male barber who is in the second chair on the left walking in finished with his client and proceeds to do nothing as well instead of seeing if I had been helped or was waiting on anyone.That’s 3 barbers who failed in customer service 101. The only barber who attempted to help is the barber in the second chair on the right as you walk in but he had somebody in front of me and I could no longer wait. This is very poor service and now I see why they were rated as just average. I will certainly never visit this establishment again and be warned before you go there. They have a couple of good people that I witnessed but bad customer service overshadows the good ones.

My barber is Lee and he is a very talented stylist. I get my hair cut short and my hair is very coarse and curly and I don’t trust too many out there, but Lee is the guy! I always end up having crisp lines and he cuts it exactly the way I ask. He also cuts my son and husbands hair. Naturally talented individual; I highly recommend.

White guy going into a “black barber shop” yea I was a little nervous, but I have to have a clean line-up and a great fade so I went there and honestly could not be happier with the cut and experience. Best cut I’ve ever had I swear to god. Wasn’t weird for me at all, everyone was super cool an chill. The game was on, everyone was very passionate. I was made to feel right at home and enjoyed the experience. Good laughs, fun atmosphere all around. I’ve found the last barber shop I’ll ever go to. Thanks “Big T” I think that’s his name, (big guy with dreads). TIP YOUR BARBER!!!!! And to be sure BEFORE THE CUT!!!!!!!. Don’t be scared white guys, it’s not like that at all. Oh and bring cash just to be sure. Bring some food, share the food, get a clean cut, hang out with the guys and have a great time and leave looking like you give a damn about yourself lol.

Hollywood is the man!! I have been visiting this barber shop since moving to the area in 2014. I love the new decor of the shop. I would suggest making an appointment. If you dont mind waiting, they do take walk-ins. The new guy who hasnt built a clientele list will be glad to hook you up.

Nothing but good things to say. All great experiences and they actually honor your appointment time which really threw me off guard because most places don’t. I walked in 10 minutes early expecting to still wait awhile and the chair was open and ready for my son. I will continue to come back and Hollywood always does a great job with my son’s haircut.

I am a white guy with a full head of hair. Based on the good reviews I decided to try this place. I was a walk-in at 10:30am and got a young barber. I am not pleased with my hair cut. This is a black barber shop and it was clear that they did a good job with their black clients. The shop is also neat, clean and well organized.

Everybody here is great they all know how to cut except for one guy he has dreads and he’s white I asked him for a mid drop fade with the sides balded out and half inch off the top u know just a trim and this guy proceeds with the cut he gives me a mid fade, he didn’t bald out the sides, I guess he didn’t understand his numbers or decimeter cause he took half of my hair off the top when I only wanted a trim on top half an inch that’s all I asked. So yeah 25 bucks lost had to pay another person to fix the fade at least cause he didn’t blend it in right u could still see the guideline In the back of my head. Got nothing against this shop they all good ppl but this guy really ticked me off I don’t know if he new or not but he shouldn’t have a chair if he don’t know what half and once or a drop fade is

I took my son and Roy did an amazing job, looked great and was quick, like a pro, so I suggested my oldest son and my husband go, no one spoke to them at all when they went in, a female cut their hair, did a horrible job, didn’t do what they asked, trimmed my son’s beard which isn’t even at all, visibly uneven, what she did isn’t even a fade, so incredibly disappointing, and they paid $30 a piece, they honestly should have complained there but who wants that type of confrontation. Sad just sad!

We just moved down here from Oklahoma. My sons had never been to a barber shop so I found them on Google. My husband and I took our 6 and 4 year old sons to get their hair cuts. The first time we went the barber (Roy) made it so comfortable and quick for them and he did an outstanding job. The second time we went, I didnt call for an appointment and they were packed. However, all the barbers cut so efficiently and quickly that we didnt wait for too long. They are very friendly and professional and I highly recommend them.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Booked a 1p and 1:30p appt with Riley. We get here and he’s not here. Another barber states he would be back and has yet to show up. What’s the point of being able to schedule an appointment if you don’t intend on making it yourself. Very unprofessional. Thought I would try a barber closer to me ( I live in Anna) but guess I’ll be taking that hour drive back to Garland. Wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.

Ive been taking my son here for more than a year. He always gets a good cut and the guys in the shop are positive and respectful at all times. Atmosphere is perfect for children of all ages. Were happy loyal customers.

Called before coming to get my sons haircut and was told I didnt need an appointment. Arrived 30 minutes after calling and there were about 5 people ahead of us. They have no receptionist and didnt even greet anyone as they came in. We waited over an hour watching them take people they personally knew prior to taking people that had been waiting. I approached one of the barbers explaining I had been waiting a while and was told he would take my son next. He asked me what what type of cut my son wanted and I explained he needed his fauxhawk trimmed. He told me it would be $20 when I was told when I called it would only be $15. He finished the child he was working on then proceeded to take another of his friends instead of my son. At that point I walked around the corner to fantastic Sams and found they were having a special for $10 haircuts. I grabbed my sons and left immediately and of course neither barber said a word. Will never return and will advise everyone I know to steer clear of Elite Cuts. I have never written a google review but with service this bad I felt it was necessary. They need more barbers, front desk help and customer service training.

Friendly atmosphere from the owner down to the new guy was greeted by all 6 barbers. In fact the new guy Eric also known as Big Moe also known as 360 Da Barber cut our hair since we were out of towners with no appointment we were taken right away. Came out looking fresh and clean.

My son had his hair cut there about a month ago and it was horrible. It wasnt edged up right it was crooked and patchy. I dont even know how that wouldve happened. Then the fade was uneven. I called the shop and told the guy it needed to be fixed so he went back the next day due to the shop getting ready to close and the fix was ok but we wont be returning.

Red is arguably the best barber in the entire DFW metroplex. I’m from Ks and looked for a good barber an entire year. I’ve been with Elite Kutz since my first cut with them in 2013!Nowhere else to go but here for a nice cut you’ll be happy with everytime.
