A couple years ago I called initially to start there for SABRE classes and was instructed to arrive there for a trial class. I was greeted instead by the Epee coach. He had told me to forget sabre and taught me epee instead. I continued there for at least 2 years and had made no progress due to the coachs unprofessionalism and laziness. At my time coming to this fencing club I had not been offered a chance to go to any competitions or informed of how I could improve. The facility was mediocre and equipment broke often. The people who went there at the time I took classes were very nice and helped me improve more than the actual coach who had a terrible temper and took smoking breaks often. I now go to LIFC which has better facilities, opportunities to go to competitions, and I have improved there noticeably. The only thing preventing me from giving this club 1 star is that the sabre coaches seemed friendly, constructive, and professional.

Boris and Misha have taught both of my children fencing. They are wonderful coaches with hearts of GOLD. Both Boris and Misha helped my oldest daughter when she was recruited for College Fencing. Her college fencing coaches have commented to me how well trained in fencing my daughter is. Now my youngest is pursuing the same as her older sister because she watched her have a wonderful journey with these coaches. One of the highlights through her fencing education was when Boris traveled with her to Europe to attend an international tournament. He has become a part of our family and I am so happy that he has helped us with this journey.

Boris and Misha are the greatest fencing coaches. They are extremely professional and caring. The students truly excel. Thanks to IFA, my oldest daughter is now a Division 1 college fencer. My youngest daughter is working hard to achieve her fencing goals with the help and guidance of Boris and Misha. I cannot express my gratitude enough for these fine coaches. I have referred many friends to IFA and they all agree. Keep up the good work!

I own this place. This is my response to Rob Walkers review. She just put one line: Bad teachers.Who are you? Have you been at our place? I cant recognize your name at all and with all my respect I can tell only one thing: Rob Walker, you are a spammer. Our school is in business since 2002. We have more than thousand kids attended our programs. We have members of national teams, our coaches are high caliber professionals, and I will not allow a spammer to comment regarding something she has nothing to do with.
