I have been to the store multiple times this year and I have always had excellent customer service from the ladies who check the chemicals. I have seen them perform well even with the ongoing chemical shortage and with really difficult customers. They are always calm and polite. When I follow their instructions, my chemicals always balance.

As with any business, everyones experience is different. I had my pool put in over 8 years ago and they were nothing but professional from start to finish. Each season it is well communicated what my options are, and what they will provide in terms of service, chemicals, etc. so I know up front. In 8 years there have been issues with equipment and the automatic cover--pools require maintenance after all--but when there is an issue, I am able to email the office, call or text my service technician directly and it is remedied. In fact, they have a gem in Blake Mullins who is very responsive any time I have a question or need something addressed. Its a big decision to put in a pool, and not cheap to maintain, but I have been pleased with the service this company has provided me and they help me enjoy my pool each season.

I went in with zero knowledge our first year with a pool and it became a mess..... but within a week to week and half my pool is crystal clear, no algae, and chemicals where they need to be!!!! Thank you so much for your knowledge and patience with us as we are learning!!!! Couldnt be happier great customer service and didnt try to sell us products we didnt need

I had a very sick pool that was getting worse by the day! Angel was able to determine the problem and help with the solution. My water is now sparkling, and she makes sure to review the test history and chemical use before instructing on what to do. She doesnt push chemicals (although I think she is a closet chemist :) but rather helps educate on how to prevent issues. She has been a God send!!

Called to get some questions answered about a part that I was needing. (Pools of fun installed the pool at my home) The lady who I spoke with didn’t want to answer my questions or actually help me, she just kept repeating we have one in stock, I would have been happy to purchase the “one you have in stock” but spend the few minutes answering my questions so that I will continue to use your company. I told the lady I understand that you have one in stock but I wanted to understand more about it. She actually hung up the phone on me! Will not be using the place for my pool needs! Very rude!

I wouldn’t recommend spending any money with this company to build your pool. Once they get the sale, the good service goes out that window. Dodie was ok, but not the best.Their Project Manager Tom is a horrible, communication was terrible. Tom wasn’t very informative and actually on the day of closing the pool he tried to tell me to clean my pool on the first day when they just finished the job. Hindsight I would’ve went with another company that value their customers. Look at all options before you give Pools of fun to your hard earned $.

Wish I would have read the reviews before dealing with them. Charged me $45 to tell me that liner wasnt tuckable. Had someone else come tuck it with no problems the same day. They just wanted the easy money and avoid work, it appears.

Angel is absolutely amazing we have some severe issues with our pools pH levels and Angel fixes our issues after one trip to your store she’s absolutely fantastic

Called in to inquire on putting in a new pool and received less than quality customer service. Didn’t seem to be interested in my business. Will use a different company.

No one seems to know who is doing what in this company. No returned calls. Poor quality. Poor service. They left our pool liner with wrinkles and promised to be out this spring to correct the liner . . . now no response.

Great place, great people. Just a little more expensive than where I normally go. However, they are local which makes up for the price difference. They also offer military discounts, to include first responder as well. I will continue to shop here for my hottub and pool needs.

I initially inquired about having an In-Ground pool installed, and quickly received a response. I was informed I would receive a call 30 minutes before Bruce arrived, he never called. After calling him he was not very clear about of the pool could go in or not. It eventually boiled down to that I must do my own due diligence in determining if a pool can be placed in the yard. My due diligence was inquiring with the experts... I was met by Gross incompetence for customer service and someone with seemingly no answers.

I had a pool installed 2003 we were all excited to get our new pool because it cost a lot of money. From day one this pool had water issues floating the liner. There were several things done wrong one was putting the sump pit on the inside next to the house making it hard to pump it out. It should have been on the outside of the pool where the skimmer is. They replaced the liner for free and we paid to put another sump pit in but it still didn’t cure the problem. Yea after year it would float and go back causing it to look like a mess with a bunch of creases. I have hesitated in sending a bad review because I am just not that kind of person but their customer service has been absolutely terrible. Ignored phone calls and no solutions then the straw that broke the camel back was I had setup an appointment to have a new liner put in this spring and call after call no one calling me back I finally just tried a sales number and what do you know someone answers. She tells me they don’t have a opening till July or Aug to put a new liner in...... are you kidding me this is a joke. BEWARE!!!!! Do not use them you will regret it.

They tried to help me but didnt have what I needed

I counted 10 times that Pools of “Fun” was at our house to “fix” our pool that worked fine last year until THEY broke it when they closed it last fall!!!!! Now they did do all of that for “free” but our pool now has something else leaking that wasn’t leaking before they were there to close and then “open” it this spring!!!!! If you have a next door neighbor that works on cars in his spare time he would probably do a better job at fixing any pool issue you have! Save your time, money, and pool for another company - not this one!!!!!!

Helpful, knowledgeable and friendly

Used to be a decent place although over priced. Now when they push un-needed chemicals on you, they wont accept returns. Best to educate yourself on what your pool needs than deal with these people.

Its a good pool store, kind of on the expensive side, but pools are expensive. The staff is helpful for the most part. It just depends on how knowledgeable the person you get is. They are all willing to help and friendly though. If you need a part and they dont have it, they can get it for you.

Very disappointed in how often they want to $200 you to death. It seems like nothing is ever covered. We spent a couple of years ago over $10,000 upgrading our pool and now I cant even get them to come out and look at lighting my pilot AFTER they opened the pool last week. Very expensive working with them. I would say a couple of their people especially Jaci Love have been very helpful in the past.

Always have the most courteous and knowledgeable staff every time I go in and have a question! Love that they can quickly and accurately diagnose my pool water there too! As a new pool owner, Ive been lucky to have these guys help me!

I purchased a new liner and cover. The installers on both did a great job. They were efficient and took the time to explain what they were doing and why.There was a hiccup in the measurements by the manufacturer and pools of fun found the mistake and quickly got the right one made. They kept me in the loop and worked very hard to deliver everything they promised.They had good communication from the techs calling ahead, work order emails to me to know what was coming next and follow ups after.Great Job.

Run, run, run!!! Regrettably, I have been dealing with this company for 4 years, because I purchased equipment from them. I have not had 1 good experience with sales or service. Dont show up on scheduled appointments, and then simply dont care to make things right. Everything about this company sucks!!! NEVER work with them unless you want constant frustration!!!

We just finished our pool and we are very happy with it. The process was smooth and on time, they even finished a little earlier than expected. We have a beautiful pool to enjoy!

This would be the absolute worst place to buy a pool from if you are in a market of installing a pool, I highly recommend you to not even give them a shot. DO NOT TRUST A WORD that comes out of their mouth because its not true. If I could recall this process that I got engaged in 6 months ago, I would go back and never look back again.

A swimming pool is a large family investment and its maintenance is also costly. Since acquiring a home with a in-ground “Pools of Fun” pool; trying to get service from Pools of Fun has turned in to a nightmare. The most basic of questions asked is answered with “I don’t know, you’ll have to bring us a water sample”. As if I have nothing better to do than drive over an hour round trip to Plainfield an learn that my home test is correct and I need to add some thing I have at home to solve the problem.I’ve been waiting for nearly a week to get their only person working their service department to call me back. She did finally call and left a message and my wife immediately called back and the salesman said someone would call back by the end of the day three days ago and still no call. I called back this morning only to be transferred to yet another voicemail. All the while my pool sits unable to use.They are not helpful or friendly and just want to sell you over priced pool chemicals you can buy from Amazon at a fraction of the price. And they are over two weeks out from being able make a service call to repair a pump problem. Do not recommend this businessThank you Jensen Pools for your quick, friendly and helpful service.

We had an absolutely terrific experience working with Pools of Fun! From day 1, they were attentive, kind, informative, helpful and professional. Our rep, Tyler, was phenomenal! We ended up doing something different than we originally intended because he was very knowledgable and helpful. We are not only soo much happier with the outcome but we got more out of our pool and it saved us money in the end. Not many companies truly have the best interest of the customer and their preferred budget as a priority anymore but Pools of Fun did. The process was very easy and even fun! The communication was efficient and scheduling was prompt. We have had a kind, respectful team on our property often and have really enjoyed getting to know them. They literally blew us away from the very beginning when they had the entire pool dug and walled in in one day! The customer service has been excellent, we have been able to reach our rep, our construction manager and the office staff at any point when we had questions or concerns and they were quick to respond and be helpful. Our construction manager frequents our job many times a week and is always quick to be helpful, answering questions and concerns that we have as first time pool owners. We also feel as though we got a great deal for a beautiful pool! We have priced pools over the years and for all of the options included in our pool (16x40 liner pool with a splash ledge, shallow end, diving well and diving board) and for the customer service level that we have received, we feel that it was money very well spent! They also helped easily connect us with financing at Key bank who does a high volume of pool loans and makes the process very easy. Overall, we have been completely thrilled with Pools of Fun and confidently refer them to all of our friends....who all RAVE about how terrific our pool is! We cannot thank you enough, Pools of Fun and your team! We absolutely love our pool and have loved our experience working with you!

Absolute sham of a company. I would also write a -5 star review if I could. First, upon my pool opening, they did not install the pool ladders and rails like it says in their contract. Also, after they left, I found that my heater wasnt working at all. This was due to the fact that the filters that they put back in were completely trash. They did install a new chlorinator during the opening because mine was leaking. I had to replace the filters and housing in order to get enough water flow to properly operate my heater. No mention of any defects at all by this company during their inspection. In the meantime, my pool had no chlorine because the chlorinator that they installed, never worked. I called their service department, they told me to back wash my new filter. I did, no solution. I then called the manager and told him about all my problems. His response was to give me the number of the weekend on-call tech. I called that guy and left a message, and never got a call back. It seems they are doing whatever they can to not come fix my pool. STAY AWAY

If you buy your stuff there they will test your water free. Otherwise its a 10.00 charge

Horrible experience. I had them install a new liner and they didnt measure for the safety ledge around the deep end. They told me it would eventually stretch out. I asked what if it gets a hole in it between now and then and he basically told me its not there problem. After calling the manager several times, they finally came out and looked at the liner and replaced it the next season. Never again!!!!!

Pools of Fun is a total rip-off. They installed my pool 10 years ago and now say the liner needs to be replaced for $5000, even though the liner had a 20 years warranty, which is invalid because Im not the original owner. After the inspection I noticed they had left the heater on, left a water jet cover off and now I have a leak in the impeller housing drain plug that wasnt there before. What a joke for a service company. Needless to say they wont be getting any of my business.
