Awesome store with real luggage for real travelers. Not the cheap-o stuff that will fall apart on you after a couple of trips. Great selection of travel accessories and leather as well. Love this store!
The lady behind the counter was on a personal call from the moment we entered to the moment we left. Didnt greet us as we entered and made it obvious she didnt care about us at all. Ill definitely never come back.
A little pricey, but excellent options and customer service
Horriblely RUDE woman behind the counter. My family has purchased all our luggage, briefcases, and travel needs at Rapps for generations.Actually, just purchased a fathers day gift last month. Never Again.Im a travel writer and travel a good bit of the year. Ergo, my luggage takes a beating. I heard Rapps had the new olive Briggs luggage set Id planned to buy next month ... at Rapps. I was about to ask for the clerk to get the luggage of the shelf and she snapped at me. Youre not allowed to take pictures!. I have a photo shopping list on my phone and shop at the end of the month. The olive duffel and matching pieces was exactly what I wanted and better yet I planned to buy my mother one as well for her Summer birthday. I was going to text her for approval on the color. However, when I nicely replied I was a customer for 40 years and organizing my Africa travel list, she inplied I was lying, she didnt care, and I was taking pictures to shop on the Web.I replied, I intended to buy at Rapps.I had already chosen a flask, a travel purse, was searching for the latest Bagalinnis, and at least 4 pieces of Briggs. She was an unsmiling insulting retch. I informed her I was no longer shopping today and she replied, Good.Rapps must do an amazing business that they can offend world travelers who spent thousands on luggage.I took her advice ...and am buying my new Briggs set online!
I purchased a Briggs & Riley suitcase. On the very first time using it, the strap fell off. I returned the suitcase, clearly thinking they would swap it out for another one. Nope! I was told I would have to send it to Charleston, SC for repairs! On my nickel! Not what Id call great customer service!
