I am giving Molyneaux a one star rating. The sales lady and her boss came from the North Fayette store. The lady was in training so her boss came with her and stayed for just awhile. There supposedly was a 30% percent sale. I had a bedroom and a family room. We pick out the best Shaw carpet. I was given one total cost. I was told that they only give a total price without separating the rooms or giving me a per yard cost. The price was around $4,700.00 which was very high. I explained to her that if that was 30% off, that made the regular price more ridiculous. I asked for the price for each room. I was told that she would send that to me. Never heard from her. She left me a small sample board with me. I have left three messages with her about coming to retrieve them. Nothing. Today she sent me a message about a review. I am having another company doing our carpet for $1,900. Same exact carpet. They had done a lot of work for my daughter and did a great job. I don’t know the cost. I work very hard for my money and I like to be treated fairly. Thank You.

I dont even know where to begin! My husband and I finally purchased our first home after 3 years of looking! The previous owners had a dog and unfortunately there was a large stain on the living room carpet and it just smelled like wet dog especially when the sun was beating down on it. Molyneaux Flooring was the first place we walked into to find our new carpet! And we were glad we stopped looking from there. We met Shannon right when we walked in the door! Super super super nice lady! She showed us the samples, showed us price ranges and even offered a free home consultation. She brought more carpet tiles than imagined. I think we dropped more in the grass trying to bring them in! Of course because of Covid we had to wait a little longer than planned but we tried our best to be patient. I was at work when the carpet got installed. My husband gave me a play by play and said how professional and nice they were. They even cleaned up after removing the old carpet before putting the new carpet down. When I came home from a long 12 hours the first thing I did was lay down on it. Its soft and comfy and we even somehow managed to match our couch to it! (Not planned-couch was picked out before carpet) All in all, it has been almost a month later and Ive never seen my husband want to vacuum the carpet so much! We absolutely guarantee Molyneaux Floor if you are looking to redo your house!

We could not be more pleased with our experience with Molyneaux Kitchen Refresh program. Not only do you get the expertise and products from Molyneaux, the best flooring and tile company in the area but you get the counter tops from Vangura, the largest kitchen counter top company in the area. We had purchased flooring with Steve Porter from the Robinson Town Center store. During our consultation with him he said they were starting the new kitchen refresh program and we were so happy he mentioned it. We got personalized service and advice and we were able to see samples in your home so we could match them to the colors of our new floor and the cabinets. When it came time to pick the counter top we met the wonderful people of Vangrura at their showroom. We decided to go with a granite countertop and we were shown full 8’ x 8’ full slabs in their warehouse. We worked with their interior design consultant Nancy Drew and she provide many ideas that made our kitchen even nicer.We selected the piece of granite and before installation Vangura provide a color virtual layout using a photo of our actual selection.The selection of tile at Molyneaux for the new backsplash was incredible and we worked with Steve to select just the right size style and even the grout color during an in home appointment. The installation process was also performed with some of the best professionals. They were efficient and skilled with every part of the installation paying attention to every detail.Working with seasoned professional from both companies made our experience unforgettable. When we need new flooring in the future we will only need to make one call to Molyneaux. Our Molyneaux experience was fantastic and it started when we walked in the store. The Robinson showroom had every type of floor covering you could be looking for.We wanted to replace 30 year old carpet and 15 year old linoleum. This was a project that we had put off for many years. We had casually shopped the big box stores and one other flooring store but were not impressed enough to make the decision to purchase. The Molyneaux experience continued once we met Steve Porter at the showroom, we knew we had met a qualified and sincere salesman. He spent time with us to explain all the different types of floor covering from hard wood to ceramic to vinyl options.We decided on Shaws luxury vinyl plank flooring. Steve brought a dozen samples to our house to make the selection process easier and to help us see the color in the rooms where it would be installed. Steve was able to also do the measurement with a laser tool to determine the amount we needed. He was able to make the calculation and we had a price that night. He offered many options for payment including 3 year no interest. Steve made the experience simple and easy.The Scheduling of installation was easy and they were flexible to meet our schedule. We were having 3 rooms installed including new base board in all rooms and they estimated 2 days. We had a great installation crew with “Junior” as the crew chief. The installers were fast and very efficient. They arrived on time and started within 10 minutes of arriving. We were very surprised when they had the full job completed in one day. Steve followed up while they were installing and also days later to follow up on how the process went.We are very happy that we stopped to check Molyneaux and very happy we had Steve Porter as our sales consultant. If you are looking for flooring you need to start with Molyneaux and have them give you their #1 experience.

Recently needed carpet on three flights of steps in a row house. Debbie Neitsch came to our house within one day of requesting appointment. She called ahead to get a sense of what I was looking for- which made the process smooth and quick. We found affordable carpet that would work perfectly on the difficult steps. The installation crew was prompt, polite and considerate. They took extra care on the difficult stairs to make sure it was exactly what I wanted. They also cleaned up nicely. We used Molyneaux for our primary residence, and now this additional property. Would absolutely use them again!

Purchasing our flooring from Molyneaux was a great experience (one of the few during our remodel)! The process began with a prompt call back from our sales rep, Amy Walsh! Amy was so thorough over the phone that once she came for our home consultation she had perfect samples/colors of what we wanted for our flooring and the over all look for our kitchen remodel. We called Molyneaux to have a representative come to help give us advise on choosing the best carpet for our home. Debbie Nietsch came out and brought a few samples and went over any and all questions we had. While she was here she measured every room so we knew exactly how much carpet we would be purchasing. We did not care for the samples she brought so we stopped in at the store later and talked with her a bit more and grabbed some other samples. She came back the next day or so and helped us finalize everything. She found us many discounts to put towards our purchase saving us quite a bit of money. We scheduled the installation for 2.10.20. The installers they use were awesome. Our installers were Bob and Jason who did a great job. They were very careful with my furniture they had move also. They were also helpful in telling me how to best care for my carpet to make sure there would never be any warranty issues if for any reason we needed to go back on the warranty in the future. They left us the extra carpet pieces we can use as runners coming in the front door and back door also. We did consider other places to purchase our carpet but in the end Molyneaux left us feeling we were making the best choice. Will definitely recommend them. Highly satisfied with everything.

I needed carpet for a basement remodel project and Molyneaux was the first place I looked. Shannon was the sales associate who assisted me and was fantastic. She answered any questions that I had and wasnt pushing me to more expensive products, which I really appreciated. I was happy with the options and prices available so I didnt feel a need to check with any other stores. The install took place 3-4 weeks after my in store visit and the crew who handled that did a great job. This was my first experience with Molyneaux but I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for carpet and I will definitely be considering them as a first option for any future projects.

This was the first time I used Molyneaux. In the past, I assumed that Molyneaux was expensive, therefore I never even called them in to get an estimate when I was looking for flooring. I’m glad I called them this time.Steve Porter, the salesman was extremely helpful. I expected him to be at my house for 15-30 minutes, like the salesman of another well-known flooring store. Steve was at my house for over an hour, helping me pick out the carpeting that was the color I wanted, in addition to meeting my needs for the area.He was very patient and asked questions to be sure he understood the amount of foot traffic that would be coming through the area.The installers were very polite and respectful of my property. They knew what they were doing and did an excellent job.

I would definitely recommend for carpet. They did a fantastic job. LVT, not so much. We were told our floor was asbestos & we could only install a floating floor. Then we were told the baseboards had to be removed before the floor could be installed. So we had to get it tested for asbestos, which they did for free. It wasnt asbestos. Still, they said baseboards had to be removed for the new ones to work. All of this delayed the project for months. When the installers came, they didnt remove the original baseboards, so nothing lined up. They had to come back a second time to recut them to fit. It seemed like a giant hassle when they didnt do what they said HAD to be done, and then took short cuts to make it work. Floor looks decent, but I think Lowes would have done just as good of a job for a whole lot cheaper. Side note - Shannon was great, (sales consultant).

We recently hired Molyneaux to install new carpet in our basement entertainment room and stairs. We couldn’t be happier with the experience. Amy Walsh was pleasant to work with and extremely helpful when we were deciding on carpet options. Installation only took a half-day and the installers were very courteous. They even gave us the extra leftover carpet. The new carpet looks great and our daughters love playing in our refinished entertainment room. We highly recommend Amy and Molyneaux!

Our experience with Molyneaux from the in-home visit through the installation was outstanding. Our Design Consultant (Steve Porter) was thorough and patiently answered all our questions. We have a pretty full house (Furniture, etc.) so were a little concerned when only 2 guys showed up for the installation, but we neednt have worried as they were amazing. In one day they were able to rip-out and reinstall new carpeting in 4 bedrooms, 4 closets, a hallway, a stairway and the dining room. We could not be any happier!

Molyneaux did a terrific job with our backsplash start to finish. Our design consultant Susan brought a great selection of tile to our home and was pleasant to work with. She priced out a few different options to inform our decision and practiced social distancing. Frank did the installation and we were so impressed with his work that we had hoped he would be part of our flooring crew as well. He was friendly, wore a mask all day, took his shoes off without being asked and kept the space tidy. Would definitely work with this company again and recommend both Susan and Frank.

My wife, Sally, and I just completed our second flooring project with Molyneaux. We put LVT in our kitchen in 2019 and recently had LVT installed in our great room, family room, entrance and upstairs hallways as well as new carpet on two sets of stairs. Steve Porter was the design consultant for both projects. He was OUTSTANDING. He is not only extremely professional, helpful and knowledgeable, he is a tremendous person with a great personality and excellent communication skills. I cannot imagine a better person for such a position.Our entire experience with Molyneaux has been AMAZING. Every other company employee we spoke to and worked with has been equally impressive. Kaleena in the Order Processing Department and Allison in the Customer Experience Department are absolutely the BEST. They were always very personable and friendly and communicated in a timely and very effective manner. Mike Hoke did a couple pre-inspections to make sure everything was on track to work out well. He was excellent at providing information and answering all of my many questions in a very professional and friendly manner. He also checked in with the installers to make sure the job was going okay.The LVT installers, Florin and Nick, are true professionals. They are not only very meticulous in every aspect of their work, they are tremendous people with great personalities and took the time to explain everything in detail.Roger and John also did a nice job installing the carpet on the stairs and reseating some existing room carpet along newly installed LVT transition strips. They also did a good job in reviewing their work and encouraging me to contact Molyneaux if I discovered any carpet issues after they left.A couple little issues did occur during the recent flooring project when the color of some shoe mold did not match and some adjustments needed to be made to the new carpet. Molyneaux very quickly agreed to re-stain the shoe mold and schedule a follow-up visit to install it and make the necessary carpet adjustments that were no fault of the original installers. Franjo and Ben came to install the missing shoe mold and make the carpet adjustments. They not only did an expert job, they were also very professional with superb communication skills.Molyneaux may be more expensive that some companies, but their level of professionalism, quality of workmanship and customer service is second to done. You can trust that they will do an excellent job and stand behind their work and commitments. The process was so easy from beginning to end. I never had to leave my house! I scheduled an in-home consultation on line and Amy Walsh responded almost immediately. She made two trips to the house with samples until we came up with the perfect solution to my needs. I called Molyneaux on a Tuesday and I had Steve Porter at my house by that Friday. He gave me a reasonable quote. Carpet was installed three weeks later. Due to Covid it was on a small back order. The guys came on time to do the installation. They were nice. Greeted me and answered all of my questions to the best of their ability. The installation took about two and a half hours. I had my attic and one bedroom carpeted. The attic steps have pie steps. And I guess those can be kind of tricky. You can’t tell they had any issues. They look perfect. I only had one issue with a few of the tack strips poking through. They came back two days later and fixed them. Will definitely recommend them to family and friends.

We were in Robinson running errands when we decided to stop in at Molyneauxs showroom in North Fayette. I am so glad we did.We met with Amy Walsh, a sales and design consultant at Molyneaux. She was so nice. Speaking with us about what we were looking for and what we wanted.We looked at many different carpets and vinyl flooring, narrowing down things that we liked.We made arraignments for Amy to come to our house to show the samples in our home and take preliminary measurements.She arrived in the evening with the carpet samples and vinyl flooring samples we saw at the store along with several other styles and colors to look at.It was a very pleasant, very relaxed meeting. No pressure tactics.We decided to go ahead with the work.The installers arrived when they were scheduled. They went right to work. Very professional. The guys were very friendly.They did exactly what they said they were going to do.They cleaned up when they were done and everything is so beautiful. We love walking on our super soft carpeting and the flooring in the kitchen looks great.One of the reasons we chose to do business with Molyneaux was they are a local family owed business with their own installation crews. We were looking for new flooring for our upstairs. We were concerned because we have 4 bedrooms along with a hallway and steps we wanted to replace. We made a appointment with Molyneaux. We are repeat customers and had a good experience before so we decided to see what they had to offer. Our consult was with Susan P. We spoke on the phone and I told her what I was looking for. She came to the house with several samples and the one sample that I knew I liked. She was very professional and helpful during this process. Our installation came just a few weeks later when Jason and Bob showed up on time. They were fast and efficient! They definitely had a system together! They worked all day and cleaned up when they were done. They were professional and pleasant. I would choose them again!!

We got new carpet for our living room and we could not be happier! Shannon was our consultant and was very great to work with. Within a few days she brought samples to our home, measured the room, and we were able to pick a carpet that day! We did have an issue with it being on back order (which was out of their control) but Shannon was very accommodating and promptly called to let us know and gave us the opportunity to choose a new one. The carpet was installed within a few weeks and looks great! I would definitely choose Molyneaux again for a future project.

This is LONG. The TLDR: A Seven day job took three months to complete. Major issues with communication. A credit card charged without communication or formal authorization. The entirety of what was supposed to be a seven day job charged on day one. Largely professional and competent installers with a major exception at the very end. Beautiful floors with a side dish of poor communication.My husband and I upon purchasing our home decided one of our first major projects would be to replace the dated vinyl tile that covered half of our home -- the kitchen, the dining room, the hall, and the bath were all the same pattern.In December we visited a showroom to see options for our home. In early January samples came to our home, the rep came and made measurements, and we put down our deposit of 50%. The work is scheduled for the second week in February.From that point forward its been a less than pleasant experience with a couple of notable exceptions.First, our installation date was botched. Molyneaux then decides to tell us that we made up our date. The problem was the insinuation that wed just made up our installation date when we had everything in writing, and had made multiple calls to confirm duration and timing. While this is happening they inform us the material was actually on backorder (or was never ordered) and maybe thats why our install date shifted. At the end, we move on. We want these floors done. The really fun part was the unnecessary $300 in boarding charges we incurred for our dogs.We finally get to day one of tile installation and things are OK. At the end of day one I get a call from my husband, our credit card was charged the entire remaining balance of the job. He assumes I authorized it. I did not. Molyneaux is informed and theres a bit of an apology around the miscommunication over a recently changed policy. Were both really glad it wasnt our Debit Card that had been charged. We also hadnt realized theyd be charging the entire balance for a seven day job (more on that later) at the beginning of the work. Thats just not common industry practice.Next, were informed of issues with our installers - that it would be a couple of weeks until theyd be available. We extend the job by another two weeks. Its now late February.New team finally comes in the second week of March, they ask about our tile after ripping up the first one. We think this might be asbestos. Im never going to complain about anyone looking out for their own occupational safety. We have it tested, it is asbestos glue.Two weeks later the team returns. The first solution of going directly over the tile with wood and nailing down fails as the nails just deflect. We are left with the need remediate at our expense in 24 hours.Our wood installers return the next and do a beautiful job in one day. We are so thankful for them. The problem is that the transitions sent dont match. Theyre MUCH darker than our floors. Molyneauxs solution is to custom stain transitions. This takes almost another three weeks.The day comes and the transitions are installed. HOORAY. Except we then cant close any interior doors along the transitions -- because the doors werent checked or cut down as they obviously needed to be. Also, the transitions are now damaged because we thought if wed just push a *little* harder maybe the door would just close. Nope. To Molyneauxs credit they had someone out same day to shave down the doors.We have chosen to decline Molyneauxs offer to remove the glued-down damaged transitions and repair them. At this point, four months after we placed our order, weve reached our breaking point and will live with imperfect transitions and a couple of wonky tiles.The installers by and large were professional and punctual. The logistics of this project were maddening -- and we thought when purchasing a premium priced service we wouldnt have these issues.

Both crews were incredibly efficient! Each team arrived right on time as expected and competed their jobs in less time than estimated. The hard flooring crew gave so much attention to detail on their cuts and making sure everything, including our quarter round and transitions were perfect! Can’t say enough about Molyneaux. They installed our basement and stairway carpet a few years back and did a great job for an affordable price so we went to them again when we were looking for tile for our bathroom renovations. The consultation with Amy was scheduled quickly and she did all the measuring and pricing right in our home. Install was scheduled a couple weeks later and took two days - they don’t contract out so the job is done right the first time! Those guys worked hard (David was the ones name), the first day to demo our existing flooring and lay the new tile, returning the next day to grout. The outcome is gorgeous, fit beautifully into our vision for our new bathroom. Great finance options and promotions as well. Would highly recommend!

She was very knowledgeable of the products and the difference in the carpets we were looking at. The installation team was a pleasure to work with from scheduling the installation appointment to having the carpet installed. The process from beginning to end was quick and efficient even during the pandemic.

Our bedroom carpets were worn and dated. We received a quick consultation with Molyneaux Design Consultant Steve Porter and found him very knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. The in-home consultation provided us with a variety of styles, pricing, and payment choices. Their professional installers completed both rooms in a timely fashion and cleaned up afterwards. They were a little pricier than other companies we reviewed, but decided on Molyneaux because of the quality of their product and their satisfaction guarantees. 5/22/2020I had purchased a new home that needed flooring throughout. I was in a bit of a time rush hoping to get it in between my closing and move in date. I was undecided if I wanted carpet, hardwood, laminate, etc...Steve Porter came with a bunch of samples and suggestions. I carpeted most of the house and had vinyl placed in my dining room & kitchen. Fortunately I got the carpet in prior to the COVID-19 restrictions but had to wait for the vinyl which was no fault of Molyneaux. The installers were professional & efficient. Over all I had a very good professional experience.

We contacted Molyneaux via the website to inquire about an estimate for carpeting. The response was extremely quick to have our in-home estimate scheduled. Ron Cuprik was a wonderful representative to work with. He was efficient with the measurements, presented some examples and was accommodating with price options. He also abided to safety protocols during pandemic by wearing a mask and keeping distance. The install scheduling was quite easy as well. The installers also showed up promptly and completed the large job in a timely manner. What could have been a 1.5 day project was done in a day. They were very hard workers. Our house had a lot of furniture which didnt make their job easy and they did a great job moving things around. There was a small issue that was noticed after the installation was completed but the follow up to have that issue resolved was prompt. We would highly recommend Molyneaux for the care they had for our project and for the quality of the product as well!

I had a great experience with Molyneaux. We wanted to get new carpeting in multiple rooms of our house. The Design Consultant, Amy Walsh, came out to our house multiple times for the estimate and was extremely helpful in explaining the different types of carpeting available and where they would work best in our house, and allowed us extensive time to look at the colors and other options. Given the excellent price point and the strong reviews I read online, they were the best choice by far, and Im really happy we went with them.The installation process was excellent as well. They managed to do all of it in a single day despite a large amount of carpeting that needed installed, and the carpet looks great and we give Molyneaux the highest possible recommendation now.

When my husband and I decided to remodel our kitchen the process was very overwhelming to say the least. When it was time to do the flooring I didnt know which company to go with. My experience with Molyneaux started with a few text messages back and forth from design consultant, Steve Porter. I sent him some inspiration photos I had tagged so he could get an idea of the style we were going for. He used the photos to select a variety of samples that he brought over to my home. It was great having the opportunity to see the samples in the room/environment we were making over. Steve was an absolute pleasure to work with. Very professional, prompt and friendly.One thing that could be improved (and why I am choosing 4/5 and not 5/5) is the delivery timing. We were quoted 2-3 weeks, but due to manufacturing challenges, it took closer to 7. However, our wonderful consultant, Steve picked the rug up in his family van and delivered it late on a Friday evening to prevent further delivery delay. Now thats a good employee.

We chose Molyneaux flooring after meeting with Lisa Clouse who is a salesperson in the Robinson location. Lisa helped us match the hardwood to what we had in other rooms and gave us suggestions on carpeting for the bedroom. Everyone we dealt with was great from the schedulers to the installers. The guys that installed our hardwood were particularly good and were careful of furniture and walls when laying the flooring. They cleaned up after they were done. The carpet we had put in is thick and luxurious! Lisa followed up with us after the install was done to make sure we were satisfied with everything. I would recommend Molyneaux to others!

Nice but pricey

I contacted and compared numerous flooring companies and found Molyneaux to be the best. Their sales consultant, Steve Porter, was very friendly, personable, informative, patient and extremely professional. He came to our home twice with many different flooring samples and explained in detail the various options for our current and future flooring projects. We also heard early on from the owner, Pat Molyneaux, who made himself available, via his personal cell phone number, if we had any questions or concerns. Once we signed the contract, the installation process went perfectly. The company communicated well. The installation was scheduled and done on time. The installers, Florin and Nick, were great people and did an outstanding job. The only issue was the stain on the shoe molding (quarter round) did not exactly match our existing baseboards. Molyneaux corrected that problem and had the matching shoe molding installed in a timely manner....Bottom line: I cannot imagine doing business with a better flooring company. I will differently use them for all my future flooring projects :-) !!

We had a wonderful experience with Molyneaux. Our very helpful sales associate and scheduler made the process very easy. We had a small issue with the installation of our laminate floors and they were very easy to work with to amend the issue, both professionally and very quickly. Highly recommend!

We had a great experience with Molyneaux. Debbie was our consultant and took great care to find the right carpets for our home. She also worked hard to expedite fitting to align with other work being done at our property. Our carpets were delivered and fitted ahead of expectations and the whole job was done to a very high standard by skilled fitters. We looked at a few companies but were encouraged by reviews here (which is why were adding our own feedback) and by the long history of the company and the use of their own employees rather than contractors. Well certainly use Molyneaux again!
