The owner is known as a scam artist in the floor industry. Uses subcontractors that do not know what theyre doing. Left my sister in laws house with a thick coat of dust and unfinished floors. They had to call service master to clean their entire house. I advise everyone to stay away from this facade company. He has multiple judgments against him but since he subcontracts the work out, he avoids liability.

Chico and his men are great if you are on a budget. They are craftsmen in the truest sense of the word. They are pretty casual so be ready to wait a little while (times are pretty liquid it seems). But Chico always answers his phone and is easy to get a hold of. Once they show up they do the job very quickly. (5 days start to finish, leveled the floor day 1, day 2 let it dry, day 3 let it dry and dropped off supplies, days 4 and 5 were install).Chico is interested in making his customers happy and will do whatever it takes to make the job work (including negotiations).Whole basement for $2000 (laminate floors around 350sqft) and negotiated the leveling of the floor with concrete down to $350. Great guys. Only reason I gave it 4 stars is because Chico does not come back to check on the work his men are doing until the job is complete. They were also several hours late most days (glad I work from home). The work wasnt PERFECT, but it wasnt bad either. You get what you pay for and for what we paid, we got a good deal. Thanks guys.

Last month the guys from Perfect Flooring came and gave me an quote for laminated flooring for my new home. 3 weeks later my 5 BR home looks all new and Id like to take this chance to thank Chico & his guys, theyve saved me a lot of money and done a very professional work around here. Thumbs up.

Perfect Flooring has done three projects in my house. The entire first floor and stairs to the second floor and the renovation of my attic and a bathroom. I keep going back to them because the work always turns out beautifully.

We got a quote to remove soiled carpet from our second and third floors. They did the removal the same day and then installed the new carpet two days later. Quality work, good price. We would have preferred to pay half up front rather than pay in full before the job was completed.

Chico from Perfect flooring did a fantastic job. I had all my floors refinished, plus new wood and tile flooring put in - always a fantastic job and by far the best prices around. I liked the work so much I just had them redo my kitchen and it is so perfect - I am so happy I had them redo it!

Horrible experience. Provided estimate and start date for tile work. Start date slid. Phone calls were not returned. Workers did not show and when they did, they were unprepared and inexperienced. Left home a mess. Workmanship was even worse. Did not prepare foundation correctly. Grout eeded to be redone twice. The second time by a thoughtful, responsible third party. Owner badgered us for payment in excess of estimate. Refused to leave home.

Beware of this guy, Chico has been sued multiple times by his clients and subcontractors. I won the case but still did not collect the deposit money because there are so many people like me. I strongly recommend people not to do any business with Perfect flooring or Chico.

Chico came out to my house to give a free estimate. Spoke fast but seemed like he knew what he was talking about so that with the positive reviews I saw online, I thought he would be a good person to hire for my flooring project. I couldnt have been any more wrong. As other reviews out there indicate, Chico hires subcontractors to do the work but the thing is, he is terrible with scheduling and communication. The first subcontractor was unable to come to my house as promised the first Saturday. The next 2 subcontractors Chico sent out were unable to do the job, threw their hands up and said they couldnt finish the job because they arent laminate specialists. That was a waste of a day off from work. The next person Chico sent out to my house was a 20 something year old who had no idea how to do the job and even said himself I dont know why he sent me, I dont do floors, Im a philosophy student! Another waste of time. After that, Chico promised that his seasoned contractor would come out to do the job but when it came down to the day that we set the appointment, he made the expert go on another job even though the sub explained that it wasnt right for Chico to do that since we had made an appointment and I scheduled to take off work AGAIN. After that point, I was done with Perfect Flooring Pittsburgh. Chico said that he would refund my deposit the next day but it ended up taking almost 2 weeks and who knows how many calls before I finally received my money. Chico makes promises that he doesnt keep, says he will call you back within the hour which never happens. I made the mistake of taking a casual look for reviews and it was after I gave him the deposit that I found negative reviews of him/his business on the Better Business Bureau (BBB), on Yelp and 5 pages of civil complaints on the PA Docket system. Steer away unless you want to be inconvenienced over and over. Dont be fooled by the trucks you see going around, the ads in the papers or the cheesy mugs that he gives away. Do your research. Youve been warned.

I was putting my condo up for sale and needed floors done quickly. They came on a Sunday and completed the job on monday. Excellent and rapid work.

Chco and his crew did an awesome job on our hardwood floors. After several estimates, we called Perfect Flooring. Not only did they come to our home the next day, their price was $1200 lower than our other bids. The clean-up was perfect, too. Our old carpeting was removed and our house was left in perfect condition. We would highly recommed them. We already have to three of our friends. If you want a job done perfect, they are the people to call. They live up to their name.. Shopping at home was very convenient.

I do not recommend Chico or his company at all. My hardwood floors that he refinished are awful to say the least. He quoted me$8000.00 and it looks like a rookie did these floors. They also broke tile in the adjoining bathroom and have never replaced them. I now have to rip up the bathroom flooring and replace it myself. Another cost to me that I was not needing. Please do not use this company very very bad workmanship and his word is not his word. When I spend $8000.00 @ another $2000.00 to replace bathroom floor that is his fault I am feeling ripped off.Tanya from ShadysideTanya

I would not reccomend using this company. We hired the company to refinish the flooring in our whole house. When they came out to mesure and quote us a price, they were pretty competitive with other places, but told us they would do our stairs at no charge.First, he never mentioned that they sub contract their work to other companies or do not guarentee a finish date, since it is only a 3 day job. They only had to do a sanding and then 3 layers of the resin on top.The next day they came out to sand down the floors and only did one level. Two weeks went by and no progress was being made on the floors. I got a call from the company asking how I liked our finished product, when they did not even finish sanding! They told me that their contractors had a miscommunication and the floors will be done in 3 days. Another week goes by and I called them again to let them know no progress was made. They told us that we can meet with the workers at our house to go over what needs done. We did and they assured us, they would be done soon. They did two coats in the span of a week and we were waiting on the last one. They did not come the next day to finish and again I called, and again I was told 3 more days. Finally, when the crew did not show again, I had it with them working all together.I called to talk to someone about what options we had to cancel or to get money back and the owner of the store is such a fast talker, he never let me get a word into our conversation and demanded the full payment. We finally made the original sales person, and the contractors come out that weekend to finish while we were present at the house and finally, they were done. What should have been 3 days took 4 WEEKS to finish. So unhappy with the company and their lack of professionalism when it comes to situations like this. They ended up giving us $200 off for everything but I wish we never used them in the first place.
