The local office staff were very pleasant and professional. Although I ordered a mid-size SUV I was given an upgrade a Jeep Wrangler which was an excellent ride and very spacious for my needs this weekend.

The young black man was very pleasant. i was in and out and when i took it back, i was in and out. car was very clean. only problem i had was it didnt have a cd player. like my own music but other than that, i think i will rent again very soon. have a deal or coupon ready 4 me. haaaaaaaaa

Returned a car here, the employees are super friendly and helpful. Return lot is in the nearby parking garage, signs very clear once inside, took a ticket and gave to them. They gave helpful instructions on parking and were super understanding when we were caught in traffic and returned it close to closing time.

Reserved and paid for a Ford Fiesta a week ahead of time. At budget on stanwix street. The guy at the counter said he didn’t have a reservation for us.showed him our confirmation and and it had that we paid. He refused to give us our car said he didn’t have that vehicle and wanted us to pay again. Customer service said we would get a full refund in 72 and no cancel charge.now we got an email saying they are gonna charge us a 100.00. When we did not cancel

Customer service is wack! I called to extend not only did they not have a contract for the vehicle I had but they said I could only extend for one day and wanted to charge me $10 for extending!! If I’m renting from your company why are you charging me more money to have it longer AND I AM PAYING?? And why can’t I have it for as long as I want??!! Customer service was poor and the ride wasn’t even clean!!

I returned my vehicle in pristine condition, and Budget later sent me a letter saying they were charging me an additional $200 for glass repair. The company never sent me any evidence of the supposed damage and charged my credit card automatically. I have photos proving that there was no damage to the vehicle, but could not get customer service to respond to my inquires. Do *NOT* rent from this Budget, unless you are fine with paying for repairs that youre not liable for.

Efficiency at its best:I had reserved a van for a day to pick up at the airport through a different discount website. I needed to change the pick up and drop off time. I called Budgets home number and they suggested calling the Airport office. After 2 days of fruitless efforts i decided to call this Budget office. I gave the lady who answered my confirmation number and in a matter of literally seconds it was take care off. Thank you again to the angel who helped me.

Made a reservation 2 weeks before I needed the car. I live on the north side, so I wanted to walk down from my house after work, pick up the car, and head on my trip. While on my drive home from work, and one hour before picking up the car, I received a call from this location saying they did not have my car. I asked them what they meant, because I had the reservation for 2 weeks. The person said no one was available to pick it up and if I still needed a car then I should go to the airport to get it. I told him I was planning on walking down to pick it up, theres no way Im driving to the airport in rush hour to get a car. Thats why I rented from the downtown location and not the airport in the first place. He said nothing they could do. Ive rented many many cars from the non-airport locations of Enterprise and Hertz with zero problems whatsoever. So, after speaking with 3 people at Budget over the phone, I asked each of them the same question, Why would I ever consider renting from you again when my reservation could be cancelled by you up to one hour from my pick up time? I received no answer from any of them.

Easily the best and friendliest car rental in downtown Pittsburgh. I usually rent from the green and white competition, you know, the one that sounds like a space ship on a TV show, anyway they wouldnt or couldnt help and we found a reservation online and hustled across 20 blocks, exhausted, tired, unhappy and rained on... The agent was pleasant, helpful and funny. We were in and out within 10 minutes with a great, upgraded car.Return was just as easy and pleasant.The cost was fair for the make and model of the car that had all the bells and whistles to make navigation a snap.Im quitting the spaceship guys and going to Budget, because when it counted most, they got it done.

Let me start with first saying that my insurance company initially gave me misinformation. I have a named non-owner policy and they told me that the coupon code they gave me would also cover me in full for the Loss Damage Waiver. This was incorrect. The charge is an extra $31 per day. This part is NOT Budgets fault.But when I showed up and told the desk agent that this is what my insurance company told me, he showed no empathy, didnt say I wish there was something I could do, but.... He just shrugged it off and said No. I have worked as a Customer Service training manager for over 20 years. This apathetic attitude is NOT what the consumer should experience, especially in a time of frustration.I started making calls to my insurance company who then brought Budget Corporate on the line. An hour and a half later of my being there and his listening to me discussing the misinformation to both Budget and my insurance company, he finally spoke up and said, you know, that credit card your using will probably cover the LDW so you wouldnt have to pay for it. WHAT? Youre telling me this NOW? After an hour and a half???? He saw the credit card the first minute I arrived!!!I called AMEX and yes, they cover the LDW. Got the rental, didnt have to pay the extra amount. And left. This is a TERRIBLE way to treat customers.By the way, while all of this was happening, an elderly woman with an accent came in to return her car and had concerns about a problem the car had. She wanted to make sure she wouldnt be charged for the problem and just needed clarification. He shrugged her off and said Well, thats not up to us. We just send the car to the airport and they will inspect it. If theres a problem, youll know. She again said well, who can I talk to since I reported the problem when I first go the car? He huffed and slapped a brochure in front of her and told her to call the 800 number. Again. No empathy.This man needs to be in job that is NON customer-facing.

You cant have guest being conerned about paying the etoll when they are already paying at each toll booth. Budget needs to set up way at time of taking car out which way the guest entends to deal with toll charges. I had no idea what the guy on phone was talking about Did I open it, open what!. Although there was a paper in the car discussing ownership of tolls encountered.Maybe have some envelopes/ clear bags on side of drop box at night to write mileage on and leave keys. All and all it was great customer experience. Thank you!

I received the wrong class car reserved and no one help me to my vehicle. I would of been charge more because of my earlier than scheduled pickup if I did not ask about the billing. Other companies did not try to charge an extra $40 for an half hour difference which would of been my scheduled return time. The car was newer was the only plus but under power with four people and my reservation was for next size up. Then I couldnt even get a shuttle service after my return for five blocks.
