The folks at the fish station are not knowledgeable. We were told the fish we purchased would get along with the fish we previously had, now one is already dead. We were also told we were getting three males, which was not the case because two out of the three are pregnant MONTHLY then eat their babies. I’m all for the circle of life, but not in my damn fish tank.

Its easy to navigate but there is a lack of happy workers...😔

Our first experience at this location and Todd and a nice young lady with a curly Bob, girl with glasses, (didn’t get names ) literally helped us with our first pet. We are first time pet parents of an American Staffy and they made our experience so much more enjoyable. What an asset to the Pet Smart brand!

8/27/22 - 7:30 - I had the WORST experience here tonight. I took my 7 month old puppy in here and he peed on the floor… He has NEVER done this in a store before, EVER. I was so embarrassed and went to tell someone working right away. I went to the front and talked to a man who then threw a FIT. He was so loud and obnoxious about it that I actually had another customer walk up to me and ask if I was okay/tell me that it shouldn’t have been handled like that. He whined and threw his arms around also. I offered to clean it up and everything. I was so embarrassed afterwards that I almost just walked out of the store. I know this had to have been annoying, but please be kind to people….

If you love your animal don’t bring them to ANY Petsmart. Don’t put them thought that misery.

Im there weekly to buy worms for my turtles. They always have differ toys and snacks on sale for our loved family members.

They take great care of our baby. The ladies do a great job cutting his hair exactly the length that I ask. Its a little pricey but you cant beat the convenience.

Dont come here for aquarium supplies. The store itself is clean and nice. But the selection of aquarium supplies is very limited, and the stuff they have is almost humorously overpriced. They charged me over $4 for a single check valve, a tiny component that shouldnt cost $1. For anything moderately expensive youll get a far more reasonable price by ordering online and/or using generic items from a home improvement store (e.g. tubing, silicone).

My groomer, Dani, was exceeding kind and welcoming. She even made time for us when there was a problem with our reservation. It was my puppys first groom, and her nervousness was apparent, but Dani put us both at ease. When I came to pick up my pup after her appointment, she pranced out happily, and I could tell that she had an overwhelmingly positive experience. Her first groom was perfect, her coat was exceptionally soft and fluffy, and she smelled INCREDIBLE! Dani gave me a rundown of the entire appointment, including what she did grooming-wise, things she noticed about my dogs appearance and behavior, as well as how my dog reacted to different elements of the experience. I was floored by the amount of attention and detail! My pup and I left happy as can be, and I was honestly thrilled with how everything went. I cant even imagine how stressful it must be to deal with so many different types of animals (and people) on a daily basis, but the groomers at PetSmart never let it show... They are skilled professionals and wonderful people!

I hate going to the back and looking at the turtles. When they have turtles in their store, the water in the tank is so low there is no possible way they can swim nor eat the way they should. Aquatic turtles need water for when they eat, the water helps the, eat as they do not produce saliva.

Friendly, helpful workers. Needed a dog bed. Despite having 100 in the aisle, I just HAD to have the pretty neutral gray dog bed on the top shelf. I found a worker and they helped out. Tons of parking which is a plus.

This PetSmart is so clean and neat and stays stocked up pretty well on all the essentials. My dog loves the grooming salon here and the quality of grooming that is done here is amazing. My dog is always thoroughly clean and the groomers go above and beyond with their work. The staff are always happy to see all the dogs that come through! I love this PetSmart.

It was nice and everyone was friendly. Did some research on a light food for my foster cat and was able to do so without pressure to purchase as Im still looking into foods as she has a significant amount of weight to lose. The selection was good and the store was neat, clean and orderly.

Walked in with a face mask. Woman is NOT wearing one and proceeds to cough without covering her mouth and says that she feels like she is getting sick. I asked employees about their face mask policy and it seems that they are encouraged but not required. I won’t be going back there for a while!

Love this stop. Bethany is really knowledgeable about fish, who can swim with who, which ones to avoid due to possible aggressiveness toward the fish we already have. She also knows a lot about the pumps, sizes needed and made wonderful recommendations on which would be best for us. Then she helped us find one in our price range. She’s great!!

Ok store, but sometimes they dont keep enough dog food in stock and I have to run to other stores. But they are helpful when their not slammed with customers.

We took our Doxie for a new collar. She does well there. One of the men that worked there was very nice and helpful. Our dog is a rehab, and must of made her feel calm. He even touched her in our way out. No one but us do that...thanks.

Clean inside, ample parking covered from weather elements, and pleasant helpful staff. Tidy, quiet area in rear corner for kitties from local nonprofit organizations available for adoption. Decent selection considering the store is smaller than others around Pittsburgh. I usually find what I need. Petsmart often has better discounts and clearance offerings vs. Petco.

The clerk was very friendly and we got a beautiful beta fish! Its too bad they dont have a very broad selection of cheesy training treats for our dog though.

The staff have always been really friendly and will give your dog a treat at checkout.

Love this store. Very clean. Employees are great. Very helpful and knowledgeable. Of all the Petsmart I have been to, this is the best! Also love the grooming salon. Groomers take good care of my dogs and do a nice job on their hair cuts.

At PetSmart in East Liberty I just love that place my dog Max which I consider him my son he likes the people its small but yet quaint they pay special attention to him at least thats what I think hes always Grooms so well the people are so friendly even the Banfield Clinic which is in the store but yet not PetSmart dog doctor emergency room

Ive had excellent and abysmal experiences at different PetSmart locations- this is one of the good ones. I got both of our cats through the shelter satellite adoptions here, and I bring my dog in to shop and for grooming. I found everyone that I interacted with at this location to be very knowledgeable, and the groomers were wonderful. The only thing I would fault is that I wish they had a better selection of quality dog foods, and more stuff for giant breeds. Four paws up!

I visit the PetSmart Grooming salon monthly for our Dierdra. The E. Liberty salon is usually clean and the groomers are very good with pets. They get a lot of business here. The salon leader, Michaela R. Is awesome! Weve had the pleasure of working with Brittney, Christa, Aries, Skylar and others. Thank you guys for being really good at your job.As for the PetSmart store, I usually find the items I need from there. (Ill admit that Im a thrifty shopper, so I dont purchase of all of Dierdras needs at one place.) I definitely recommend this PetSmart location for grooming and shopping.

Perfectly average. Fine for quick trips when you know what you want. Otherwise it can be hard to find what you need since its a smaller store with some limited selections.

I stop here somewhat regularly to get cat litter for our three cats. They have a large selection of products, and I like to visit and acknowledge the cats that are for adoption. The staff is friendly and helpful.But it always breaks my heart when I see the fish, etc, in small and overcrowded enclosures.

This is a very nice petsmart to go to. They have covered parking for free. I take both of my dogs to Banfield here. They vets and techs were all extremely helpful with my many questions and were very nice to my dog.

I had an appointment to have my dog bathed. I was told by the groomer that it would take about 2 hours because they had other dogs to do, so mine would have to stay in a cage. This defeats the purpose of an appointment. I have no problem rescheduling, when you can work on my dog from start to finish. Manager named Mike came in, and said the same. He definitely does not know the meaning behind appointment. He should also learn manners, in how to deal with the public.

I love this store! I adopted a kitten from here. The staff is great. The store clean and stocked. And Shirley and Nicole are awesome!

They had everything. There were cats and kittens, birds,snakes,hamsters and fish. Adoption fee for kittens is $100 for cats Its $75. I love it.

Large selection of supplies for cats, dogs, fish and reptiles. Not so much for small animals (ferrets, hamsters, etc). Prices are between reasonable and slightly high. They also have a grooming center and cats for adoption.

I like this PetSmart. They are always good to me and my dogs. But Ill say this: when a sign says Take an ADDITIONAL 50% off clearance prices, or discontinued items or whatever the last two words were, and theres already a yellow discount ticket on the items around the sign, Im DEFINITELY assuming i will get to TAKE. AN ADDITIONAL. 50%. OFF. and the sign does not refer to the already stickered discount. Except to say that was the first discount, the second would be the ADDITIONAL one. Silly. I been shopping sales since i was 10. Smh. If the sign just said 50% off thered be no problem. Otherwise, great store. Makes my dog wag.

So. Many. Deals. This is one of the cleaner locations I have been to, which was a nice surprise. They have a very reasonable price matching policy, tons of great sales and clearance selections and friendly knowledgeable staff. I especially love the ability to place orders online and pick then up in store within about an hour. It was great when they had a $99 crate on clearance for $32 and only a few in stock, I was able to order and pay for it online from work and pick it up on my way home without the worry of if theyd be gone by the end of the day. It was hassle free to pick up, they have an iPad they track it on, no need to print and bring a receipt or anything. Also have to mention the fantastic selection of treats which can be purchased individually at checkouts, it was a great way to see what out pup liked before investing in a big 32+ count bag.

Its no longer how much is that little dog cost in the window, its now how much the dog food going cost me to feed him. The chewable milk bones I can not find them any where else but here.
