We’ve stayed here several times and the quality has gone down. Over $300 a night and you have to pay $25 for breakfast, $4 for coffee, $30 to park. They’re renovating the rooms and we were “upgraded”. The decor is horrible. There is a large shelf that stuck out so far that in the dark I cracked my head off it. Beds were comfy and our view was nice, but definitely not worth the price we paid. We love the Clipper shuttle that takes you to games, but it’s not worth it. I could stay else where for far less and have a decent continental breakfast, take an Uber to games, etc.

August 2021 - Beautiful riverfront view of the city. Beds super comfortable, slept really good. Room was clean. Gift shop / coffee shop in lobby was a plus. The only reason for the 3 star, doing some updates, renovations. Pool was closed for remodeling and clubhouse. Didnt know upon booking.Parking is very high at $30 per day. Cheaper to pay at pay station than have parking validated. We was in and out only once a day back and forth to hospital.

I stayed here last month with my girlfriend, we had called ahead because our flights were getting in early and they were very accomidating. I left my number at the front desk and Alex called as soon as our room was ready. I really am writing this review for him, as he was the highlight of our experience at the hotel. We felt like we had a friend in Pittsburgh as soon as we checked in, he went out of his way to make sure we had a great stay. The hotel itself was great, lots of fun bars and restaurants in walking distance. We are already looking forward to staying again.

The manager was rude, an hour and a half after checking in, Im napping and the manager calls n rudely demands I go to the front desk immediately. Apparently the manager knew the person who booked the reservation for me and said she wouldnt allow anyone associated with him. Which is jacked. I tried to reason with them nothing I could do. Ya the room was refunded after days of waiting, I couldnt get another room last minute that was affordable so I drove over 1 hr home n im a narcoleptic, I was badly falling asleep at the wheel. Thanks. My money paid for the room, my friend was nowhere near the hotel, I should have been allowed to complete my stay.

Positive: Nothing. The air conditioner in the room did not work at all. It made all kinds of noises which lead to not sleeping well at all. We only had one set of towels when we should of had two sets. The parking was ridiculously priced. The tv only had 2 channels Negative: Everything. This place is run down and needs all new. I won¿t be coming back to this place. I¿ll stay on the north shore side from now on.

I really love how the hotel is close to everything & comfortable bed. But I called on 9/16 around 7:15pm to confirm my reservation and the lady I talked to from the front desk was SOOO beyond rude. Getting an attitude with me cause she couldn’t hear the last name I was saying, talking reallly really slow when I would say “sorry I couldn’t hear you”, then hung up on me and said “call back later and talk to someone else”.

Stayed here last week only booked two nights it was horrible so I switched to the Marriott for the next two nights. Hotel room is run down. They put us in a dog room even though we told them my partner is allergic to dogs and I have a hypoallergenic service dog this is against ADA compliance. Run down musty room thin walls. All amenities are closed (pool, cafe etc). Horrible area to stay in. Hotel construction noises and thin walls wake you up in the morning. Hotel was out of shampoo. Horrible overpriced hotel, that needs to be torn down. Overpriced parking should be free since the hotel is so run down.

Might as well stay at a motel 6. Check in time was 2 hours late, dirty room, $30 to park in a parking garage a block away. Asked for milk from the bar and the front desk for my daughter at 9:00pm and got laughed at. Tv has barely any channels (which are staticky) and a broken remote. Pool closed, dirty bathrooms. I could keep going. This is supposedly a nice hotel, but it it a piece of garbage. Oh yeah there was an employee crawling around inside the dumpsters outside of our room window. No joke

We stayed here for a wedding. The hotel itself is beautiful, but the rooms need some work. Our particular room had the carpet duct taped to the bathroom floor to hold it down. The shower was dirty. I found multiple bugs in our room (thankfully no bed bugs). The AC unit in our room did not work, making for a very hot night sleep. We did inform the front desk of the AC issues, and they did send maintenance to fix it, but it was unable to be fixed leaving the room very uncomfortable for the rest of our stay. Overall the staff was very kind, but for the price of this hotel I would not stay here again, for I have stayed at much nicer hotels for much less.

Paid full price for half the services. No pool, no gym, no room service, no restaurant. As a family of 5, we were hoping to be able to get a roll away cot. We even called ahead of time to confirm that we could get one, but when we arrived, we were told that it was a “fire hazard” to have one in the room. Parking is $30 per night. The vent for the A/C was not secure to the wall, which left a huge gap. The entire description was extremely misleading, and was definitely not worth the money.

This hotel is advertised as “pet friendly” and is NOT pet friendly!! The staff assigned us a room and then made us move rooms 20 minutes later, claiming that one of the housekeepers was allergic to dogs. Alex at the front desk was incredibly rude, implying that I was deceptive by not announcing at check in that our family dog was staying with us. As an employer, I’d be nervous to have Alex as an employee. Despite being advertised as pet friendly, there are countless hoops you have to jump through to allow your pet to stay at this hotel. We stayed at a pet friendly Sheraton in New York the night before and had zero issues. We come to the Sheraton Pittsburgh Station Square and we had issue after issue. If you can, stay somewhere else and avoid the disappointment.

This hotel is not what you expect for the price you pay. First of all I went 6/30/21. No amenities at this hotel open (hotel claiming Covid) cant go to the restraunt, not open, cant go to the pool, not open, cant go to the gift shop, not open. This hotel has a pitiful bar as well, the rooms were nice to look at the king size bed was very comfortable and clean, however it seems like the quality they spent in the mattress, they had to skimp on the pillows. The air conditioner in the room needs replaced as it is old and antiquated its loud and noisy, the toilet needs a hammer to hit the lever to flush, not enough towels, they just gave enough for 1 person, took front desk over 1.5 hours to bring to room. SAVE YOUR MONEY STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE

A rather rude and stressed batista at the lobby Starbucks. But the manager, Alex, was a 5 🌟 manager. He deserves a raise. He traded our promised Hard Rock Cafe gift card that they were out of for the $20 Starbucks and $30 Parking bill. He had a dance competition and a wedding going on at the same time and he still treated me and my sister like we were the only ones that mattered when he was talking to us. This was the worst customer service I ever received at a hotel. I left a suit in the room and called the same day I checked out to ask if they found it. The lost and found line took me to voicemail which I left for the head of house keeping. Two days passed and no one got back to me so I called the front desk. They transferred me to house keeping and no one answered again. A week after my stay I called housekeeping again and had to leave another message. It’s been two weeks since my stay and no one has gotten back to me. I expect better customer service from Sheraton and would recommend staying elsewhere.
