I cannot say enough good things about Orrs in general and about our favorite jeweler at Orrs, Jennifer Powers, in particular. My husband and I have relied on Jennifers expert guidance, product knowledge, and exquisite taste for years. The stunning selection and outstanding quality of the jewelry in their cases, as well as their incredible watch collection, is unmatched in the area. In addition to all this, they shine at custom designs as well. We recently worked with Jennifer on a project that came out so beautifully, I cant stop staring at it. I had my engagement ring fixed here and was very pleased with the service and workmanship. Two days after moving to the area, my family heirloom diamond came out of my ring. We were lucky to find it - and I was stressed about having it properly repaired since we didnt know a soul in town!I visited a couple of jewelers to inquire about repair because I wanted to feel confident in the craftsmanship and be sure it wouldnt happen again. The other jewelers that I visited did not have the person that would do the repair talk to me, just the sales people gave me rough estimates.At Orrs, they were very helpful and the man that was actually going to reset the stone came out and looked at it in advance. He told us what the problem was with the setting (it had been custom made elsewhere when we were engaged less than 3 years ago) and how he would repair it. The price was much better than the other places we visited, too!When the ring was returned it looked even better than before and I can tell it is more secure and safe. We have since taken it in for appraisal, which was an easy and hassle free process, even though I had a hectic schedule that week. (I was able to drop off a day early and pick up a day late.) They have absolutely gorgeous pieces for sale and everyone that works there is SUPER friendly! I will definitely be back!!!

I recently went back to wearing analog watches after having a Fitbit for 3 years so I needed to get the batteries replaced. I went to Orrs because the watch shop I have used in the past was closed for lunch and no one was answering the phone. I am so glad that that happened because everyone at Orrs was so nice and attentive, even for something as small as watch battery replacement. If I ever need anything again Im going straight to them!

Tooky engagement ring to them because the diamond was coming loose. Boy am I glad I did. The diamond popped right out of the setting. They did a beautiful job repairing the ring and it is shining like it did 22 years ago. While there we also had my husbands ring downsized. You cant even tell they did. Great place. I highly recommend them.

I have shopped here for over 10 years.There are many places to buy Jewelry, but none as professional and honest as Orrs.When I shop, they dont sell me what they want to sell me, they take the time to listen and find out what the special occasion is, and how to best provide for that event.They really understand that having a customer is a long time relationship and not just a single transaction.Over time, Orrs became more family than business. Went in a few months ago looking for a Rolex and had a fantastic experience at Orrs. In particular, Marcella was amazing to work with. She helped me find the most gorgeous watch and was extremely informative every step of the way. I appreciated how she treated me like any other customer (I find that most sales people will judge since Im on the younger side!) and didnt hesitate to show me multiple watches to pinpoint my taste. I went back a few days ago to view some other selections for my next purchase and Marcella hooked me up with some literature on other brands as well as cleaner for my Rolex. I visited the Sewickley location to find a professional Rolex model which are hard to get and often take months on a waiting list . I spoke to Jared who was expert at explaining how the process worked and he got me what I was looking for in a relatively short amount of time . I am now waiting on my dream watch which may take some time to come in but will be worth the wait . I can easily recommend Orrs and Jared to anyone that wants a knowledgeable staff, a great selection of Jewelry and luxury watches and of course excellent customer service .

I called for them to check a Rolex yacht master42 that they never had in stock for past 2 yearsA lady told me they can’t authenticate because it wasn’t purchased from them. So when I want to buy the watch ya didn’t have it and when I want to check it ya no going help me ima call Rolex n complaint about your placeThe watch cost me 31k n they can’t check it for me

LOVE, love love Orr’s Jewelers! They are the nicest people to work with, they are not pushy AT ALL, and they embody the most wonderful customer service and professionalism. We highly recommend them. Before my now husband proposed, he had heard wonderful things about Orr’s Jewelers and an employee, Iva, and scheduled an appointment with her to look at engagement rings — I went to this initial appointment with him and we had a wonderful hour+ long appointment where Iva carefully explained the diamond selection process, and educated us on everything we needed to know. Tyler left knowing we would be in great hands, and he returned soon after (without me) to select the ring. He said Iva was WONDERFUL with him in the entire process, and when he proposed he put the most beautiful ring on my finger. In these last two years since, we have continued to work with Iva for our wedding bands. Our wedding was last weekend, and we have been receiving tons of compliments since then on our rings. Orrs Jewelers is a quality establishment through and through, highlighted by its outstanding staff. When I wanted to have my great grandmothers ring customized as an engagement ring for my now fiancee, the staff at Orrs exhibited a terrific personal and professional touch.I worked with Rosie and Duane to design a customized emerald setting and the results could not have been better. Rosie was tremendous in discussing emeralds, sizing, pricing, etc... and made the whole experience very comfortable. Duane designed a wonderful setting that maintained the vintage feel of the ring.My fiancee adores her ring so much were going back to Orrs to create my wedding band!

I have mixed feelings about this place. The jewelry is high quality and the service is excellent, but you only get to build as fancy a place as this if you make a lot of profit. And that means high prices with a huge profit margin. Unless you think that a used diamond is a bad thing, or if you think you need brand name stuff, Id go to a cheaper local jewelry store. But if you want top quality and top price, this place is for you.

I had taken in two watches- one for a battery change and the other for a new band and I had amazing service throughout the process. I was able to order and pick out multiple watch bands then choose the one that I wanted once they arrived in store. The staff were extremely friendly and the price was very fair for both services. Would highly recommend!

After trying to shop a competitor in Shadyside a block from my house and not even being greeted after standing around for 15 minutes, I decided to drive over to Orrs. And what a breath of fresh air. Great customer service. I bought a chain to hold a pendent, and when the chain broke because of how I handled it, I tried to have the chain repaired so that I could continue wearing the pendant. After the chain was repaired the Orrs repair person determined that returning the pendent to the chain would likely break the chain again - so paying to have the chain repaired did not result in my having a chain on which I could wear the pendent. The jeweler I had been working with kindly and generously offered to waive the repair fee, and I was able to use those funds to buy a sturdier chain on which the pendent can safely be worn. I am grateful that the jeweler was able to hear what mattered most to me and help me solve that problem without paying for the learning curve twice over. I especially love being able to feel good about wearing the pendent with good memories of both the person who gave it to me, and Orrs jewelers. Thanks again.

My review is largely based on service. I went in to the store to get a custom ring made. The first guy was helpful, and then another man took over. I was emphasizing what I wanted and that cost was an issue for me. I was told that the sting of the price wont last as long as the ring, so not to worry about price. I was told they would put together some designs and send them my way. This never happened. I got back in touch with them, and they sent a quote 3x my budget. They said they would send pics of the designs. They did not. I told them I needed something in my price range. I never heard back. So if you want something overpriced, or if you just dont want your calls returned, these are your guys!

I recently purchased a Tudor Black Bay from Orrs and had an excellent experience. I worked with Jeremy their watch expert, he was knowledgeable, patient and accommodating. If your looking to buy a luxury watch in Pittsburgh, Orrs should be your only stop.

Jeremy has been extremely helpful and friendly. He has very graciously helped me size watch bracelets and removed a stubborn springbar that was giving me fits. Enjoyed talking with him and browsing pieces at the store. I wouldnt hesitate to contact him for Rolex and Richemont watches.

Leslie here was absolutely wonderful, she herself wore a very modest watch and was modest herself as well. I will come back to the Squirrel hill store for a ring, and hopefully many more times for my watch collection.

I have been a loyal Orrs customer since I was 16 years old. My first purchase was a Swiss Army Watch (which I still have almost 20 years later.) Ten years later when it was time to start looking for an engagement ring, I was treated wonderfully compared to some of the other local jewelers. They took care of me and treated me as I would expect to be treated with this emotional purchase. Since then, my wife and I have purchased all of our jewelry at Orrs from watches to gifts for my wife, and most recently a pair of earrings for my daughters 1st birthday. Thank you Orrs for always treating us like part of the family.

Simply the best. From the moment my wife and I walked in we were absolutely taken care untill we left. I am a watch junkie and now so is my wife. The amount of time taken with us to make our 3 watch purchase was extraordinary. At no time were we rushed. They absolutely made sure we had the knowledge we needed before we purchased with no rushing or pushing. They practically remove buyers remorse from the equation. All staff we encountered we more than courteous and helpful. They made it fun buying watches. Which is just how buying a watch should be. I will definitely be back. The saying is true Orrs ROCKS.

I recently bought a bracelet for my mother with the help of an associate named Rosana. She was incredibly knowledgeable about all the different designer jewelers, having almost an intimate knowledge of the designers themselves. Additionally, she sold me a Shinola watch, which I love. Definitely took the time to patiently look at every watch on me and give honest feedback if it looked good or not, in the end selling me a watch that I have had for a month now and love wearing. All the other staff members are very friendly and professional, a few definitely moving around quickly and limited in passing conversation, but for designer jewelry, Rosana seems to know everything there is at a jewelry store that seems to carry a great selection.

Last year my fiance got my grandmothers ring repaired here, and it turned out beautiful. I feel as though it was repaired with the highest possible quality, and all of the sales people there were extremely friendly. We have been back to Orrs since, and have always had a good experience.

Super nice dealers! A gentleman helped me replace my watch battery, and I just waited for about 3 minutes. Then he told me it was free and wished me happy holiday. Let me say again super nice dealers!

I tried to get my Seiko watch battery replaced here on a Saturday morning. There were several people working in the store, but I was told that only one of them could actually replace watch batteries and he was helping someone else. The lady at the counter said I could leave my watch there, but they might not get it done until the following Tuesday(!!). It shouldnt take 3 days to replace a watch battery: Im never going back in here again.

My fiancée, Dana, wanted to custom design her engagement ring so that it would incorporate both her ideas and original accent diamonds from her late mother’s engagement ring. We went to Orr’s on the recommendation of a family friend and I can’t imagine that we could have made a better decision! Dwayne and the rest of the staff at Orr’s were very helpful and never treated us with anything other than complete courtesy. They were able to create the custom ring exactly how it was imagined. Dana has people stop her on a weekly basis to tell her that it is the most beautiful and unique ring that they have ever seen.Needless to say, we also decided to have Dwayne create our custom wedding bands. The bands look terrific! We will be tying the knot in a few days and we are looking forward to enjoying them just as much!We definitely recommend them to everyone we talk to and plan to continuing to take our business here in the future!Thanks Dwayne!

The best of the best with very professional staff.

Called me informing me that my OysterQuartz was finished having 2 links installed. When I put my watch on it was not fixed. Orrs staff proceeded to tell me it was fixed and point out the 2 links that were added even though I told them they were wrong. They eventually found my 2 links and I have just missed a call from them. We will see how it works out!!!!

Guess they dont need my business. No return calls or emails. Sad.

These guys have great stuff, are experienced, and do top quality work... but thats where it stops for us unfortunately. We find ourselves uncomfortable there, with sales staff that can be condescending and not overly helpful. Theres a young guy who works there who sells watches who was great, really nice, and the jeweler in the back who fixes things was also really great, but the rest of the staff was very off-putting unfortunately. The prices of things here also seem to be absurdly pricey. Granted, they have very high quality goods but we just never felt that we could work with these folks in a comfortable way. Potential purchases where we considered Orrs included a full custom engagement ring, wedding bands, studs, custom earrings and watches - and nothing ever worked out so we just dont go there anymore. Maybe someday things will be better for us.

I took my grandfathers Rolex there to replace the crystal since it was cracked. A few weeks later I noticed condensation in the watch face, and i immediately took it in to another jeweler since I was out of town. Turns out, instead of putting a new crystal in, the professionals replaced it with one that was cracked under the bezel and glued it into place causing it to leak. They refused to admit any wrong doing but they did refund my money then asked me to leave the store. If you have any precious valuables, I suggest you take them elsewhere.

During my first and LAST visit, I was extremely disappointed by the lack of quality customer services shown to my husband and I. We were there to have his bracelet on his watch adjusted. From the mature front desk receptionist not acknowledging our entry, to the young lady who gave a less than average reception, to the representative who adjusted the bracelet, And the security guard who tried to be low key in following us...below average service.👎 Was this because were African American? Possibly. Nonetheless, we had every right to be treated with respectable service. I noticed that a employee couldnt resist doing a double take to get a glance of the type of watch my husband had in the green Rolex box. The stares were very noticeable and uncomfortable. My initial thoughts were, theyre just stuffy. Then, while we were being serviced, the same representative that gave us a half welcome, rolled out the red carpet for an Asian couple that came in shortly after us. Let me be clear, I never play the race card. Honestly, being of a multicultural background, I never had to do so. My husband and I are both graduates of Taylor Allderdice High School. So diversity was introduced to us at an early age. We didnt need quality customer service because of our race, just because you opened the door to service the community therefore, That would make quality customer service a must! This experience left me feeling that as a country, we really havent come very far. It doesnt matter how much money you think someone has or what color they are, kindness and courtesy are FREE! However, the value in those traits are invaluable. In closing, I would suggest that Orrs Jewelers work on learning tolerance and more importantly, learn to be more diverse.
