We are very satisfied with their products and service. I guess it depends on which crew does the install. They widened the gutters in the front where the most rain water is and added a downspout we never had. We havent had any leaks or flooding and the 2 guys that came out to check and clean them were extremely friendly, mannerly and thorough. The ice jams and icicles in the winter were really bad but it didnt pose any problems. Pricey but worth it in my situation.
Between my home and my rentals, I had over 200 feet of their gutter system installed. This has been the worst home improvement company and process that I have ever experienced. I have ice in the winter, over flows in the rainy parts of the year. I have mildew growing on the edge of the gutters. The only thing that I have not had to do is clean my gutters, but that may change. I am detecting that small birds are building nests in the gutters. I have called and had the service guys here at least 5 times! If I could, I would have all of these gutters removed from my home and my rentals! Truly an bogus system and operation! I got tired of the service calls and run around and finally just gave up!!!
Two stars because the the representative was awsome! Although we did not use them because they said our home was to high to reach the gutters. Did not receive resteraunt gift card for the 1 plus hr consultation as promised.
We paid over $10500 to have the leafguard system installed on our house. We have leaks, water laying in the gutters and water overrunning the gutters. We have attempted to get somebody here to correct these issues, but nobody calls or comes out. Talked to Cecil on Monday, July 26 and he promised somebody would be out no later than Wednesday, July 28th. Nobody came. My husband called Cecil on Thursday evening and Cecil said he would get back to him. He never did. I called Friday afternoon(late) and told Cecil(left message) I expected to hear from him by today..NO RESPONSE!UPDATEA crew Finally came out late on August 13th, did part of the repairs and was supposed to call/return the week of August 16. Today is August 26th and Im still eaiting. The one repair left another problem....HUGE pooling of water around our garage! We have NOT heard anything from this company . Management is unresponsive, time management is non existent and other issues could be easily corrected.I am calling BHG in the morning. Too many issues and zero response.Save YOUR money and DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!! You will come to regret it as we have. Now, my husband left a message for Troy Stevens to call. Hopefully he will call, but I really dont hold much hope. This company DOESNT respond to customers issues.I should have read the reviews before spending over 10k.
I had a good experience. Need information and help with paperwork. They were very friendly and took care of my needs.
Had to call multiple times to get a hold of someone. Finally get through and the woman was extremely rude. We need a piece of downspout that is 5 feet long for an easy repair on the ground and they will only sale the downspout along with their installation (which is outrageous).
The advertisement is false. They say $99.00 down and $99.00 per month, but thats only if youre approved and they also say that you get a free dinner card just for a free consultation or inspection, that is also a lie. I got turned down twice and yet they still send me advertisements in the mail.
My parents had a representative come to their home today to get an estimate and were told it would take about 1 hour. They had an appointment in the early afternoon and figured they would have plenty of time even if he went over a bit. Well 3 hours later the person would not leave and essentially harassed my parents who are 82 and 83. They also started at $11,000 and then kept calling his supervisor and brought the price down to 5,500. My parents were actually shaken by this whole experience. Harassing elderly people is not a good business practice. They had to physically open the door and kick the salesperson out.
Replacement of fascia boards was promised but not kept. Ability to contact company almost impossible. Unprofessional installers incompetent. Did not follow instructions. In conclusion I have a gutter that leaks and the company is non-responsive to fix it.
The most bizarre experience ever! the company sent a salesman to our home & after about an hour he appeared to be done with measuring, etc. It was time for the bottom line (price) and he wouldnt tell us! he kept saying he HAD to go through his presentation before telling us the price for the gutters. We were already familiar with the product & really wanted them but we didnt want to sit through his big presentation, we just wanted the bottom line price. We were already sold! He refused to tell us the price & so we told him to leave. He called his supervisor who I asked to speak to but wasnt permitted, so i figure the salesman never really dialed the phone. he was just faking. The whole experience left us not wanting anything to do with this company. I dont know where their marketing ideas came from, but deception isnt a good approach. BEWARE!
Leafguard installed new gutters and was professional and easy to work with.
We had a regular gutter on the front and back of our house. We had the black filter inside to keep leaves etc out. It started to run over in the front and decided to get a LeafGuard. Leaf Guard in my opinion is not worth the price. After it was put up and it rained the rain overflowed down to our foundation. I called and they came out to see the video I had and said a piece should have been sold with our kit. That is the salesman’s job not ours so they made adjustments and now it doesn’t overflow but it’s not very attractive on the one side where they made the adjustments. Icicles are a royal pain. I have never had so many icicles. The back part of our house has a regular gutter, no icicles. I’ve had to take a broom and knock them down a few times. I was told that icicles are an issue with closed top systems. On the side of our house where we store the shovel that had to be moved because ice would build up on the shovel from it dripping off the LeafGuard system. In my humble opinion you’re better off with a plain ordinary gutter. In their defense they will come back in the spring and make corrections.
Chris was a great to work with and an expert on the product. He was excited and knew what he was talking about! I appreciate the time he spent with me today and going over all my options!
Did a great job on my moms home. They left no debris and cleaned up after themselves. That was the best service we had
Way over priced for gutters! I have about 75ft and was quoted over 6k. Then like West Shore the salesman says let me call my boss and see what he can do on the price. We can also put a sign in front of your house for a discount, blah blah blah. I think we got down to like 5k. On heavy rains the rain will run right over the top of them and if they get any film on them as well the same thing happens. Getting gutters at Lowes I could do it myself for about $300-400. Called another place for a quote that use heavier duty gutters and 6 gutters and they came in at about $700. So, 6k is way over priced! The salesmen must have the same training as the people at West Shore! Same sales tactics and pressuring and lines to try and trick and force you into buying their product! I worry about elderly people and wonder how many they have taken advantage of and should be illegal!
Jeremy is the best sales person Ive ever had the pleasure of dealing with!
I am not satisfied with my leaf guard gutters at all.I had them installed in November 2014,the seal wasnt good where they joined them.I had called and someone came and supposedly sealed the joints and they are worse now.I had tried to reach out to them again twice and the numbers I had for the contacts were no longer in service.I finally wised up and went on their web site and used the phone number on their page. Now they say sealing for a leak now would cost me.I had to guarantee them to get paid or they wouldnt even come and check it out.So the type of problem I am having is only guaranteed for 2 yrs. There is no life guarantee on seams popping loose or leaking. This is false advertisement to say life time guarantee. They even told me to pressure wash the drip edge and maybe that would help.My husband is 79 and we are in poor health that is why we purchased these gutters.I am so mad.I say no to them.
They have installed this item at my house and it has prevented flooding.
Quality product, superior instalation and great customer service.
Good product
After 1 year, we have several seams leaking. Called customer service and they said youll receive a call back in 24 hrs. Well it took more than 1 week. When we finally heard from Leaf guard, we scheduled a service call and no one showed. We called back and got the same SLOW response and was told WE FELL THROUGH THE CRACKS. Not what you want to hear when you spend $16,000 with a life time warranty :(, Well we scheduled again and got a note on the door, unable to identify leaks, call again for service WHAT A BUNCH OF BS!!!!. WELL I NEVER GOT SERVICE. DONT LIKE LIARS AND DON,T LIKE BAD SERVICE. BUYER BE WARE !!!!
UPDATE: Emailed the address in the response from LeafGuard. It’s been Five days and again they haven’t responded. Hired Leafguard to install new gutters on my home in early September 2021. They couldn’t finish the job in one day and were to return for a second day. On the second day we got a call that the crew that was doing our gutters was going to be unavailable and somebody else would be out to finish the job. Nobody came that second day and they had left without cleaning up- we had metal and parts strewn about the yard and driveway. We had storms that day and overnight and got water in our basement. After they finished my husband had some concerns about the installation and called the manager of the crew. The manager was rude and disrespectful and my husband asked to speak to his boss. He said he give our contact information to his boss. We received a call from the boss only to find out it was just a random follow up phone call. The manager had never given our contact information to anyone. The boss came looked at the job told us to email him our concerns, which now include rain water going behind the new gutters, and he would look into it and get back to us. The boss will not return our calls or email.
