Working with Gino and his crew was a great experience. From getting the initial proposal to finishing the project, they showed up on time and finished when they said they would. This company was so awesome to work with. From the initial estimate to the completed job. The price was extremely fair and the quality was impressive. I knew I wanted this company for the job from the first meeting, but I called for another estimate because everyone says get more than one estimate. The other (on TV big name) company that came to give me an estimate, tried to insist that they wanted to put the new roof on top of the one that was already there and wanted to charge me twice as much to do it. I sent them away. I called Gino at M&Y and because his price was so good, I thought I had better double check to make sure he was removing the old roof and he confirmed that was included in the estimate and of course it would not be a good idea to put a new roof over top an old one. The crew that came to do the work were the most efficient and hardest workers. They are a well oiled machine. Even my neighbors were asking where did you find these people because they have never seen such efficiency and people that worked from early morning and did not stop until everything was done perfectly. I have the pictures of all the work that was in progress and completed and all the layers and steps that Gino told me would happen, definitely were done and completed. I had new gutters and downspouts done at the same time and the same great quality work and efficiency was present there. This company should be getting all of the business if they are not already because they do such a great job and are so professional to work with. Gino is very quiet and not a strong arm salesman because he is confident in his product and his workers, so big commercials and salesmen coming to pressure you is not what he is about, but what Gino tells you will happen and the quality products he tells you he will use, will happen and be done just as he says it will. This review is lengthy, but I want people to know this is the company they need to use.

From the start and throughout the entire project, Gino was extremely responsive. He came out right away to do an initial estimate and showed us samples. As we had questions throughout the process, Gino was always available to help. We never had to wait long for a response.We got roof replacement, attic venting, gutter/downspout replacement, and siding replacement. The different crews completed the different jobs in a single day each, and did a fantastic job. Everything was done with a fine attention to detail and it turned out great.At the end of the project, Gino stopped by and made sure I was happy with everything. Our kitchen ceiling started to drip water after heavy rains. We called M&Y and Gino came to our house to take a look at our roof. He recognized that although our roof was relatively new, the shingles and flashing were not put in according to proper specifications and so we had water coming in around the skylight. When winter passed he and his team came to our house and in one afternoon was able to fix everything for a fair price. Now when its pouring rain our ceiling no longer drips! They did a great a job and I would recommend them.

Gino did my roof 2 years ago. Today I found a shingle in my yard. I asked Gino if he could stop and take a look because we had a bad storm yesterday. Gino came right away. I had an inspection of my roof as I was selling my home. He saved me 95 dollars because I had previously hired another company a few days prior to clean the gutters. I found out that work was not done! So not only did Gino find issues with the gutters and roof, he also told me that the work I had hired another company was not done. At that time he even provided photos. I ended up getting my money back for it! The money for the inspection went toward repair as well! He did an amazing job and was fast. We need some work done on our new home and I look forward to working with him again!

M&Y completely removed the 25 YO shingles and replaced them with a new covering of O-C Duration architectural asphalt shingles. Gino Slipko, owner of M&Y, was always quick to answer any questions about the tear-off and asphalt shingle replacement roofing job details. He was responsive to my needs to know more about the bill of materials and the crew doing the tear-off and replacement of our large (55 squares) roof. M&Ys quote was the most comprehensive and detailed of any that I received from the five contractors that I asked for estimates. Not only that, but he noticed that my shed needed roof work too and was the only contractor to look around the property and make the re-roofing of the shed an option. Much appreciated was his professionalism and his concern to do the job right and not skimp on the work to offer a more competitive estimated price. The final invoice was identical to the estimated cost, the sign of a good contractor!

2021 Having been impressed with their repair work last year, and the roof they did for my daughter, when it was time to get a new roof on our house, this is the first place I turned to. Gino & his crew were fantastic. As a woman, its not always easy to find men to do work for you without them trying to rip you off or having them talk down to you. Gino, however, was a dream to work with. His consultation was long and he answered all of my questions patiently. He climbed up on my roof and looked at everything too, so he could give me an estimate on the spot. He was easy to talk to and gave me the complete rundown as to what he would be doing and why his process was quality work. His price was the lowest of the three roofers I interviewed. He responds to every email and text very quickly. He kept in constant contact with me leading up to the job and all through the work (it took three days). He said his crew would be there at 7:20am and at 7:18am they were backing into my driveway. His crew was super nice and they cleaned up every last piece of tile and debris that was on the ground, every night, before going home. They did excellent quality work and my roof looks fantastic. My concerns had to do with a leak in our two-year old roof (which had been installed by someone else).Gino examined our roof inside and out, made his recommendations for securing some possible entry points for the water which was causing a ceiling-damaging drip in our family room, and completed the work at slightly less than his original estimate. The owner did the estimate. He went on the roof and did not just get a Google Earth View. He was the first to arrive every day and was always there with his crew. They were all courteous, neat and very professional. The owner checked in with our neighbors for parking preferences. Most of all they did a great job on our roof, skylight, gutters, soffit and fascia and at a very reasonable price. Highly recommend!

We recently had our roof replaced by Gino and his crew and we cannot say enough good things about them. Their work ethic and professionalism are outstanding. They completed the job efficiently and all areas around our home were cleaned of all debris before they left. Gino is very detail-oriented and does exactly what he promises to do. Gino was friendly and knowledgeable and actually did what he said he was going to do. He showed up on time, gave a fair price and finished the job when he said it was going to be done. His workers were courteous and cleaned up very well when the job was finished. I would recommend Gino and his crew to anyone who is looking for a professional roofer who does a quality job. My roof was completed just before a huge overnight rainstorm which caused Ginos equipment to get stuck in my yard. Once the equipment was removed the next day there were large tire tracks and from the removal of the equipment. Gino came back the next day smoothed out the areas with top soil that he purchased and planted new grass and threw straw down. You won’t be disappointed if you hire him.

Super responsive and transparent throughout the whole process, I would definitely recommend M&Y to anyone needing roof repair or replacement.I had my home inspection come back saying the roof was questionable. I called M&Y and Gino said no problem, he would go look at the roof and give an estimate the next morning. It was awesome—he provided a quote before the inspection response deadline and I was able to use that info in the home sale. I should say that I tried several other roofers before this and they couldn’t commit to looking at the house before the deadline, let alone provide an estimate. I was a little stressed by the time I talked to Gino.He also finished the job in an amazingly fast time and provided pics of the work in progress. And got my roof scheduled really quickly after I accepted the quote!The roof looks amazing and there was not even a stray nail left on my property.

They did roof replacement for my aunt. I was in charge to help her out with it. This company was great to deal with and everything went as planned without any delays. Highly recommend!!!

Gino and his team are very professional and efficient. I highly recommend M&Y Pittsburgh Roofing if you want to replace your roof. They use top line Owen Corning Shingles. The price which is very important to most of us for my roof was fair.The downspout was not 100% straight, they came and fixed it as soon as they can. The service is above and beyond. I will definitely hire them again in the future.

Gino and his team are reliable, fast, and the work is fantastic. I’ve had bad experiences with contractors so it nice to have someone I can trust to show up and get it done.
