I just moved to Pittsburgh and hoped I could find a nice place where I could become a regular, while I thought this would take a couple of tries I completely lucked out with Enricos. Enrico is meticulous in every good sense of the word, his attention to detail in a cut is incredible and the quickness of it is incomparable. It is quite difficult to imagine that quick cut could be so good, but trust me when I tell you, Enrico somehow pulls it off.My favorite part of the visit was when he showed me his custom designed pair of scissors. The mere fact that he enjoys his job enough to design, prototype, and then produce hes own invention shows you how good a cut youre going to get.If youre wondering whether you should go here.... stop wondering and go get a darn good hair cut!

Went to Enricos for a cut and trim merely days before my wedding. My now wife insisted I step up from the usual chain stores. I made an appointment and Enrico welcomed me when I showed up. Yes, its a one man operation so you may have to wait longer than anticipated, but you do get his undivided attention when its your turn. He did a great job. At the time, he only accepted cash, but his pricing was fair. I fully intend to return.

Best haircut place in Oakland! Ive been to at least 5 barbers in Pittsburgh and Enrico is the best of them. The haircuts themselves are great. He takes pride in his work and really wants you to have a good experience. The atmosphere is SO relaxing. He regularly has jazz/classical music playing, the seating comes from old muscle cars, and the Italian artwork culminates to create a truly unique experience. Cash only. No walk ins, but he is normally very accommodating for appointments. Cant say enough about this place.

I have heard that getting a nice and neat hair cut for Asian men is so difficult in the US but Enrico absolutely knows how to deal with Asian men’s hair. I went to Enricos for the first time today, and I can honestly say that I will not even consider going to any other place in Pittsburgh to get my hair cut. My experience was fantastic. Unassumingly nestled within a row of buildings along Fifth Ave, Enricos is a real diamond in the rough of hair stylists. The atmosphere of the place is quiet and relaxed; Enrico is extremely affable, and knows exactly what he is doing. His outstanding results are solid evidence of his 35 years as a barber. He took the time to understand the exact kind of haircut I wanted and then adroitly and pleasantly gave it to me. In addition to receiving a haircut, I asked him for some advice in regards to caring for/styling my specific type of hair, and he provided me with a number of very helpful and practical tips. The quality of my haircut was excellent: efficiently and expertly done, with attention to detail. In light of the superior quality of Enricos haircuts and styling, $18 plus a tip is not only very reasonable, but a bargain price. I will look forward to coming back in a few weeks time to the #1 haircutting place in Pittsburgh.

Bottom line: Rushed, sloppy haircut with customer insensitivity to boot.My first visit, and I really wanted to like Enrico - I prefer old school barbers over chain salons. But this was a poor hair cutting experience.I came here because the majority of Google reviews were fantastic. But my experience was similar to the other guy with the negative review in here.•1) I had hair everywhere. Shirt, neck, and even noticeable clumps on my face. Good thing I didn’t have to return to work.•2) No neck shave - he didn’t even offer. And with that, the hairline on the back of my neck was cut uneven.•3) Parts of my hairline were left untrimmed, and my top was left too long. I provided a couple of pics of what I had in mind, but it was like Enrico just went into autopilot and whipped me through. Without exaggeration, Enrico actually spent more time blow drying my hair than cutting it with scissors.One funny thing that I think goes along with a previous reviewer’s statement about an awkward atmosphere there. When I handed Enrico his “cash only” payment, he held up my $20 bill to the overhead light to see if it was counterfeit! And he did this in front of all the other patrons I had just been pleasantly conversing with. Mind you, I didn’t stroll in reeking of weed, wearing flip-flops, and smoking a vape pen. I was well-groomed, professionally dressed, and even made small talk while he cut my hair. I couldn’t help but laugh out loud and say, “Yeah, it’s American”, as he stood there looking like a homeless man at the stoplight suspiciously checking his cash for fakes.

After my barber of 18 years closed because of an illness, I had to find a new place to get a haircut. After such a long time with the same barber, finding and trusting someone to cut your hair can be a nerve racking experience. Fortunately, Enrico’s is two doors from where I work. After reading the reviews here, I gave him a shot and am extremely happy I did.I think Enrico could tell I was a bit nervous because he really took the time to ask me how my old barber cut my hair. Instead of just finishing the job quickly, he stopped several times and asked if he was cutting it correctly. I really appreciated this and quickly was at ease. My haircut turned out fantastic and I will definitely be back.If you’re looking for a new barber, do not hesitate to go to Enrico, he really knows what he is doing.

Ive been going to Enricos for a few years now, and there has not been a single time where I havent been delighted by the quality haircuts he gives. Notably, he tried something he called the Fusion taper which drew a lot of compliments. Highly recommend!

Enrico is okay. He is nice, and makes an effort to have a good atmosphere and his price is reasonable, but the fact is that he believes he is always right, and his cockiness gets in the way of getting a quality haircut. I showed him two pictures of my short hair, and he said okay, but he didnt go as short as I wanted to because it looked better in his way. I was not pleased. If you have simple hair, hes great. But for long and complicated hair, you can do better. You wont come out with mangled hair, but Im sure there are better haircuts in Pittsburgh. Maybe the best in Oakland, but not in the city.

I have gone to many places during my time in Pittsburgh, however Enrico without a doubt does the finest job of anyone that I have ever gone to. He cut my hair poorly and charged extra for it. Enrico is the only guy working there no assistance no helpers he is inconsistent and rushed my hair cutting he finished in about 10 minutes and charge me extra for a thing he called texturing. Which was basically him giving me layers except with a straight razor.He also left one side of my hair longer than the other and left two long pieces of hair behind my ears. He is kind of a weird guy and thinks he is a big deal. But when I went to cost cutters to get my next haircut they said that he did a bad job and there was all kinds of uneven and weird cuts. Basically the only thing that he did was cut off the back of my hair because I said I wanted it a little bit shorter otherwise he just messed it up and charge me $25 for it.I would not recommend going hear you’re better off going to cost cutters or if you’re looking for a higher-quality cut maybe look for some other better local barbers in the area.

Very good experience there. Definitely keeps busy so if a first time customer, maybe call ahead and make a reservation but its just evidence of his good work. My wife was very pleased with the result and will be a return customer.

I would like to say that the owner is a very friendly and sociable fellow. He has many fun tales to tell and the service is superb. Also, the haircut its self looked more well done with every patch of unruly hair timed better than any service I have had at the cheepo barbers. I had been having my haircut by the same person for 12 years. Last year I moved to Pittsburgh for school and I got a haircut at several places in town but couldnt find anyone that offers the level of quality and service provided by Enrico. He took his time and asked questions to make sure it was exactly what I wanted. He even went back over a few spots because I was not happy with the length the first time. Definitely going back!

Enrico gives fast (~10 min), reasonable haircuts. But totally disregards his customers schedules and his own calendar. Most recently I made an appointment a day in advance and arrived on time only to find 4 people waiting ahead of me. I had business at nearby Magee Hospital so we agreed that I would pick up my package and return in 25 minutes which I did to find again that now 2 new people had been substituted in front. Dealing with this shop has always been a hassle with inconvenient scheduling times, long waits, and cavalier treatment but this was the last straw. Enricos hair cuts are really a commodity thing that you can get at most any barber shop without being jerked around. I wont return and if you have any self respect or appointments on your own schedule you wont go there either.

As a foreigner, often times getting a haircut is fairly difficult for me, because many barbers do not know what exactly I am looking for due to communication problems. Surprisingly, Enricos Hair cutting did a great job. The barber always talk back and forth as he carefully cut my hair. Having been here for four years now, Enricos Hair Cut never lets me down. I still went because people told me the quality was good... But then 2. The cut was horrible, and I usually do it in supercuts, so its not like I expected much either...
