Barbershop Styles is the best barbershop in Pittsburgh. Vince treats every customer with world class service. I drive 40 min and pass a dozen other barbershops to go there, and its worth it.

Vince and the crew are terrific. Your best option is to call ahead and make an appointment, because while they sometimes take walk-ins, they dont always. Very good prices and you can a high quality old school face shave!

From my momentary lapse of judgement in wanting a hard shaved side part hairstyle and back to my bald fade high and tight. Husband and I went in for the first time and everyone was wonderful. They answered all our questions and I must say the music and the atmosphere made me feel like a kid hanging out with the family. I would recommend this establishment to any person who is seeking professional and friendly service.Also, for members of the armed forced active and retired, they offer military cuts. They are a proud veteran establishment.

Vince, Al, and Brandon are the real deal. They take both appointments and walk-ins and are very professional. These guys know how to cut all hair types. Good cut nice atmosphere

Everyone who works here is so kind, friendly and experienced cutting hair. I wouldnt take my son any were else! My son also feels comfortable here which is awesome. They are very accommodating to try to get you in when you need to also!

Ive been going to Barber Shop Styles since it shortly opened. Im retired military and still love my weekly haircuts. Vince and his team are very good at what they do, so good, my boys have never got their haircuts from anyone else. You wont be disappointed if you give them a try.

Great group of guys. Haircut was spot on. Fairly small, one guy only did appointments. Waited a little over an hour but I still think it was worth it. Very nice clientele and staff.

Always saw this place on my drive home from work but was too lazy to call and make an appointment, once they started accepting walk ins I stopped in and man am I glad I did. Vince, Al and Brandon are all great guys that do great work and treat everyone like family. Al is my barber and the only one I trust to cut my hair from now on... If youve never been here before, call a few days in advance for Vince or Al or you can be a walk-in with Brandon. If youre impatient, call a few days ahead and make an appointment...dont complain when you walk in and have to wait a while assuming you can instantly sit down. The place is popular, and rightfully so. Stop in sometime, you wont regret it.

I cant say enough about Barber Shop Styles. Everyone is very friendly and really knows what theyre doing. When I walked in yesterday, my usual barber Al was very excited to be able to trim up my new beard. I think that shows just how much they actually care about cutting hair.

I came in for a walk-in and it was my first time there, all the barbers were kind and polite. i like the atmosphere right when you enter the door, I’m definitely going back for my next haircut.

Vince is the proprietor here and is a great barber as well as a good guy. I had 2 situations that were both my fault and both times he accomadated me. He has built a great business by being good at what he does.

This is a true mens shop. The 3 barbers that work there are incredible. Especially Al the guy with all the tats knows how to shape up a beard and Ive never seen someone use a straight razor so good. Brandon the guy in the middle is spectacular at shape ups and wonderfull with kids. The owner Vince is the leader and he runs that place like a tightly oil machine. By the way they DO VALUE THERE CUSTOMERS AND CUT GREAT FADES. They take pride in there work so if you cant get in than Id advise you call and learn the protocol.

Having had obnoxiously thick hair for most of my life, I have always had trouble getting my stylist to get my hair just the way I like it. That being, a Damian Lewis - Band of Brothers 1940s style side part pompadour cut. While, because of my hair type, I can never perfectly achieve that, I came quite pleasurably close today. Closer than Ive ever been.I called earlier today to schedule an appointment with Al, and having previously had a lop-sided haircut, he knew just what to do when he saw it.Being the type of fellow I am, I appreciate honesty and a down right Lets get to work type of attitude. After calling my previous haircut out for the poor workmanship that it held, Al got right down to work, and didnt make much small talk, which is something to appreciate in a barber shop. He was amiable, but focused, so I knew my hair was somebody elses problem for the haircut.You know those moments in a slip of time when your hair is being cut.. You know, those moments when you slip a glance just to check and see how its looking mid-cut? I took a couple of those, and there wasnt a single one I took where I found myself thinking afterwards, Awww shiiiiit...Barber Shop Styles is an excellent place to get your haircut. The barbers are receptive of what youre looking for, and know how to cut mens hair at an affordable price. They communicate well with the type of hair you have, what direction youre trying to take with the cut, what works best for a gentlemans hairstyle, and even the type of hair product to use for your hair type. My favorite was having my fade detailed with a straight razor. While Al was the one who cut my hair, I have no doubt any of the gentlemen working there will do a fine job. And remember, always tip your barber well.
