I have a great experience every time I take my sons to get their haircut here. I wanted to share my most current one. Niki did an awesome job cutting the boys hair especially my 3 year old. Which can be very difficult she went above and beyond to make him comfortable. She even pretended that she was giving his stuffed animal a haircut which made him so excited! Great customer service every time! Great place to take your children.

45 minute wait turns into an hr and a half. Family members in and out causing stylists to just drop everything and make sure their daughter is ready for cheer pics. Two people working on the busiest days shows a complete lack of any management. To busy talking to actually cut hair. Dont waste your time. Dont come here

Alyssa was amazing. Did exactly what I wanted even though I didn’t know how to verbalize it. As a woman with short hair she made sure I still had a wonderful fade without taking too much off the top. She was a gem and we will be back. For sure.

Showed up before closing actually 5 minutes ago and I was refused service. The place closes in 20 minutes. I cant believe it. I feel racially discrimination was at play.I called ahead I tried more than one way to have my hair cut today.I am in shock

He was being a little difficult and whining a bit, but she was very patient and did a fantastic job, especially since he kept squirming and like most 3 yr olds, doesn’t sit still. First time I ever went into a Sports Clips. To begin, I did not feel like I was in a hair studio. Sports stuff everywhere, TVs etc. I felt more comfortable as I feel most hair places are built around women. Which isn’t a problem but Sports Clips felt more at home. Sign in was great, sign yourself in, pick a specific stylist or whoever is free first. Pretty neat. I wasn’t entirely sure what I wanted but I had an idea. Thomas gave me some of his opinions to go along with the style I was thinking and it turned out great. He took his time and you could tell he wanted to make sure I was happy with the results. Banter was fantastic too which always makes for a better experience. I will definitely be going back for my next cut.

I’ve always had good experiences with Sports Clips, but they have really stepped up their game in light of COVID-19. I was very impressed with all the precautions they are taking for COVID-19—none of which negatively impacted the quality or efficiency of my haircut. A+ work!

I checked-in online because we were in a rush. We arrived early to find there were only two stylists working. I was very nervous about whether or not we would get out on time. When the hair stylist was ready for my son, I told her that we were in a hurry. I was afraid of what the results were going to be, but she gave him a scissor cut and it turned out to be one of his best haircuts yet. The stylists skills were great and we got to our meeting on time!

I had a great first experience. Brandy was very professional and courteous. Make me feel comfortable for my first experience at sports clip. The MVP experience was phenomenal and relaxing. Willing to come back again to get the MVP treatment again.

The haircuts are pretty good but the cost seems to be excessive. It was $39 for my two boys to get haircuts, and then when I went to check out, the first option on the machine for a tip was $10. Are you serious?? A tip of 25%? I ended up tipping $8 so in the end the cost was $47 to two clipper cut haircuts. I dont think Ill be doing that again.

This place has always done a great job on my hair. There was only one time where the haircut wasnt complete and I went back and they took care of it. I would recommend this place!

First time there they gave me a rundown of how they do everything, even explained why they don’t have them cleaning jars on the stands lol. My son has autism and absolutely HATES hair cuts! The guy who ut his hair had alot of work because it had been so long but he made my son comfortable, found silent clippers to use and actually consulted him about what he wanted. Exceptional service!

My place of choice for a cut. Anybody can remove hair from your head, the difference here is the attention to detail that I receive. Being a younger guy, I gravitate towards barber shops mostly. But, Nicole was awesome, great conversation, expert opinion in how she thought I should style my hair with my lengths I was going for, didnt push any products, but after she used the matte hair clay and I left. I soon realized how awesome the stuff is and will be by to pick some up today. Dont hesitate to go for the MVP and enjoy a lovely atmosphere that honestly was better then a lot of my barber shop visits on the Southside. Who would have thought McKnight RD would have such a good spot to get a cut.Side note: Im covered literally head(face) to toe in tattoos and there wasnt even a hint of judgement from this establishment. My new go-to.

I signed in with 2 people ahead of me, waited 45 mins to get a text message they will be ready in 10 mins. I showed up 5 mins later to 4 people ahead of me and an hour wait. I had to leave so I wasn’t late to work didn’t even get my hair cut.

Very fast and professional. I had to be ready for a wedding and instead of me waiting. They got me in right away so I didnt have to worry about what I looked like lol.. Love there and plan to keep going back

The woman, whose name begins with an N, botched my hair completely. I asked for a 4 trim around the back, got pretty much shaved to the point that my blonde hair makes it look like I am now bald. Didn’t ask how I wanted my neck or side burns done and left a mop on top of my head. Going to be stuck wearing a hat until my hair grows back except at work where I hope no one notices. I knew I should have waited for the other woman who was working but didn’t want to be rude. Terrible experience, terrible haircut. Any one know any good barbers?

Stopped by last night for a last minute haircut for my son. It was late (near closing time) but the stylist was pleasant and gave him a quality haircut. It took longer to checkout than it should have because they couldnt get the fingerprint scanner to work and there was no override code. I felt bad for the stylists. They both tried multiple times (2 customers in salon waiting to pay) to get the scanner to read their prints. I would recommend either that they have a manager code to override the fingerprint or work on improving the system. Other than the payment process, this was a good experience for us.

This location recently had a event happen where the entire staff was let go. The new barbers are green as grass. They have dummy mannequins setup to practice on. They are slow and prone to mistakes.There was no wait which was a welcome change but the barber who cut my hair took over 30 minutes to complete the task. I asked my barber if she had any previous barber experience and she said that worked at the hair club for men. She then proceeded to talk on about the benefits of hair restoration and even tried to sell me some tonic to help hair growth.I had to remind her on basic tasks like cleaning the neck line and making sure the sides are level. Even with my pointers I still have an uneven haircut.I can understand training new barbers but at the very least you need a series of checks and balances to make sure your standards are followed. I was a customer since this location opened but I will not be returning.

I had an awesome experience yesterday on my lunch break. They were very fast and very efffieciant. For someone who has had some terrible experiences at the barber shop I was very very happy with my cut. I will definitely be returning.

Worst hair cut my older son has ever had. My husband had them use clippers on the side and leave a little longer on the top. His fade was so uneven and it didnt even blend in and the top looked like someone took a hacksaw to it. The left side on the top had chunks of hair that were a good bit longer than the rest.I will say the girl who did did my 2 year old had alot of patients and worked well with him since he doesnt like hair cuts and my husband had to hold him. She did a very nice job on him.This was our first time there and we came to try it out and we have coupons but I would never pay the prices they ask for their haircuts for the quality of cuts you receive. I will definitely be taking my kids and husband back to our normal place.

The lady that cut my sons hair was nice to talk to and cut my sons hair nicely (my son is 2). However when i went to check out i had a free mvp haircut experience coupon, that i had used 2 weeks before on my other son with NO problem. The lady said that it was not a free coupon and tried to charge me. She said the coupon was for the experience, the shampoo, hot towel, ext. But the haircut cost $11. I explained that we were there to weeks before with my other son and did not have a problem using it. She was kind of taken back and started to argue alittle bit and said there is no code for a free haircut and i dont know how they did it before. I felt like she thought i was lying to her. We We went back and forth a bit and then she told me she can give me one of her free friends and family promotions, but that one of them would loose out on a haircut. I ended up taking her up on that offer and i was appriciative she gave it to me. I walked out of the salon upset and will not come back. Was i wrong? Im very confused as to what that coupon ment? If it means a free haircut for new clients as it states, the employee needs to be told this and the code to be entered into the computer so that this does not happen to someone else!

I have come to this location for the last time, I have been coming here since they opened. They are always understaffed and take way too long to cut young kids hair. There should be 3 people working at all times. It is now approaching an hour that I have been waiting. The one stylist just took 40 minutes to cut a guys hair and he didn’t even really need a haircut!

Mary is top rate with the clippers. Ive been to many barbers in Pittsburgh and she can do fades with the best of them! Waiting can be busy at this location, so try to do the check in ahead of arrival.

The wait was not long and neither was my haircut. I was in at 1:15 and done at 2:30. The head massage while getting shampooed was really nice as well. The service was great, and my haircut was done perfectly.

Its a revolving door for low-tier hair dressers. You have better odds playing Russian Roulette.There are maybe 2 out of 12 girls that can actually cut hair. Not worth the gamble.Seriously AVOID.

I recently got my hair cut at the McKnight Siebert SportsClips and am extremely happy with the stylists who work there. Mary did my hair that day and you can tell that she is a top-notched stylist. While I think that I have very “simple” hair, when I went in to work later that day, I actually received many compliments. I was rather shocked because that has never really happened before. Thanks for making me look good SportsClips...and you too Mary! Kudos to you all.

Hair stylist Alyssa was excellent with my 7 year old, who loved to talk and has a hard time sitting still. She was patient with him and he loves his haircut.

I dont know what to think. the girl did a good job. however, she was quietly passing wind. thats fine, it happens but I think it was intentional. I saw her in the mirror smirking at the other girl who may have been in on it. each time she turned and put her behind closer to me. she used the blowdryer at one point to blow the smell upwards into my face and nose. everyone like to have fun but this little game was inappropriate. good haircut, bad manners.
