I contacted Jeff Critchlow Auto Body after I hit a deer and the front end and driver side of my car was pretty badly damaged. Sandy was extremely kind and helpful over the phone and she informed me step by step how to handle this with my insurance company, the car rental, and informed me I could bring my car in at my convenience and they will be ready for me. I was running late for work the day I was taking my car in, Sandy helped me over the phone to accommodate me so I would not be there too long when I arrived with my car. I was in and out picked up by the rental company. I was contacted by Mark ( I believe that was his name)every step of the way to let me know what was going on with my car. He described everything in detail in a way that I would understand and answered all my questions. I didnt feel rushed or as if I was annoying him, he was extremely kind, informative, and helpful. He told me he would write a specific note down on my paperwork, and he did just that, where as other places dont follow through sometimes when they say they will do little things to help you out. I appreciated his time and help. They were also accurate and honest about how long my car would be there. When It was time to pick my car up, they told me I could leave the rental off there and they would handle getting it returned, this saved me so much time. When I arrived and saw my car I could instantly tell I was extremely pleased just from the looks of it!! I was so excited to see my car all fixed and the paint job was perfect. When i had dropped my car off it was pretty dirty on the inside and out, it was spotless when I picked it up... even the inside!! I met Jeff, the owner and Sandy was there to get me squared away( they even waited for me because I was running late once again 🤦‍♀️). Even though their work day was done, they both took the time to talk to me and Jeff even gave me some pointers about other car issues I had since before my accident. I had some concerns regarding the rental I was turning in because I didnthave time to clean it up a bit before turning it in, and had driven through an area where lines must have just been painted. Jeff assured me I didnt have to worry and even followed up with me to let me know it was able to be cleaned off. They went above and beyond helping me with my car, my concerns, and even the rental car. I could not be more grateful and pleased with the service. My dad and uncle always told me, Go to Jeff Critchlow, and now I know why! I will definitely be back with any future needs! Thank you so much to everyone that made my car actually look and feel better than when I first purchased it!

I had a complicated issue involving 2 insurance claims. My front bumper had been torn off. The guys did a fantastic job. My car looks awesome and they handled the curveballs professionally.

The tow truck driver is very unprofessional, disrespectful, and just plain ignorant! They are all about $$$$ and the service is terrible! Recently had much needed repairs to my older vehicle. The body work makes it look new and is very satisfactory. Auto Inspection completed at same time/place, very convenient. Joe at Automotive Dept is professional and decent, he is kind to my mother when she brings her vehicle and once bailed me out of a vehicular jam, very kind!! Jeff’s work is meticulous! The price wasn’t inexpensive ( which I anticipated) but I’m glad I didn’t put a down payment on a new car! I’ve used Critchlow for AAA calls,automotive and body shop, the service is CONSISTENTLY good! For accountability, please identify self when answering the phone, saves time. Tow truck driver was super late and showed up with an attitude. Super rude pretty sure his name was joe. Yelled at my mom because she asking simple questions.

He was supportive and made sure I understood the process and even offered some suggestions to get the vehicle running once his service was completed. I had some insurance work performed on my Volkswagen Gulf. They were excellent from start to finish. Not only did they help coordinate a rental, but they went over and above when they noticed a few things not included in the estimate by attending to them also. I have taken a few vehicles to Critchlow in the past (10+ years ago) and have never been disappointed. However when I started driving more high end vehicles I thought I should go to the dealer...special paint, parts etc.I did that one time and never again. Critchlow does a much better job than any shop Ive been to. My care looked like it came right out of the showroom.Most important, when I met with Dave to review the estimate he noticed something that I missed and saved me over $500.I strongly recommend Critchlow Auto Body

Russ came to tow our vehicle at 11:30pm on a Sunday night and was so kind. Instead of just loading us up he said he’d look at it first. Our battery was bad and it started right back up. He gave great advice, was so very kind, and was the absolute best customer service! Thank you Russ!!!

Had a dead battery on the side of a busy road, at 5pm, called AAA, this company was the 1 to respond. Jake, the driver/mechanic showed up almost an hour before estimated arrival time, had my car battery tested and replaced within 10mins.I opted for a new battery, roadside. It was only about 7bux more than advance auto charged for a new battery and I wouldnt have had to go out of my way to buy it and have it placed. So convenient to just be one call and done!Very grateful to Jake and this auto body shop for helping me, quickly, in my time of need.Thanks, guys!

Had two really good experiences with Critchlow. First one was for my CR-V, when I called AAA, they sent Critchlow and were able to get my car started amazingly. Second good experience was for my Crosstrek; though it took a month for me to get an appointment, they did a really nice job on some body work/fixes on my car. Would recommend

Had my car towed from driver Chris 116164, so kind friendly and courteous, my car was on a slight hill off street, we worked together to get it on flat land. He came in minimal amount of time after I contacted AAA, and was so kind and polite. We need more roadside services techs like Chris.

I love working with Critchlows - both the auto repair and auto body shop. They are very fair and I trust them completely. I never have to worry about their recommendations because they are honest. They are super easy to work with and do a great job. Theyve done multiple repairs on my Lexus and it always looks fantastic when they are done. I took my 2009 Chevy Traverse (that Ive had since new) after someone backed into my left rear door. We called for a dead batter away from NC in PA. We called AAA and Critchlow Auto Body responded - Tommy #97B11. It turned out to be an improperly coded key that was causing a security lock out. Tommy waited for us to get another key and ensure our tires were pumped out until I returned. He ensured the new key worked, the battery was working properly. The blonde cashier was VERY unprofessional. I could tell from the first question asked that she had a bad attitude. She acted as if it was an inconvenience to answer questions at all. I would never recommend this place for ANY service. The tow driver and supervisor lied to my face about pricing. All around horrible service!

Not happy. Waited 4 hours for a tow truck. I had to use this company because of my AAA membership. The tow truck that was suppose to get me, was called off of my tow and another tow truck was sent from 2 hours away. Very bad service. When the tow truck finally arrived, at least the driver was nice. NOT HAPPY

In my experience in dealing with this company it was TERRIBLE. The company violated the Towing and Towing Storage Facility Standard Act passed in PA in 2012. LOOK THIS ACT UP ONLINE BEFORE YOU PAY THIS COMPANY ANY MONEY FOR A TOWED VEHICLE. There is so much more I could write, but due to the fact I will be suing the company I prefer to leave it at that. Do yourself a favor and do your due diligence with them before you pay them any money. My advice...there are plenty of other companies in Pittsburgh and the surrounding areas to choose from.

I request Critchlows when ever I need a car towed.I have used their battery and AAA towing service on several occasions. I had also had several cars repaired through their body and service shops. Always professional and always top quality work performed. I have no problem recommending them to anyone.

I had to call AAA because I not only had a flat tire but my car was also over heating and leaking antifreeze. I was so upset because I was coming from my 1st job and on my way to my second one when this happened. When my driver Damian arrived he was the absolute sweetest about the whole situation, very light hearted and optimistic. He turned the entire experience around for me and not only that but he made my day. He made sure I got to my next destination safely and I couldnt of appreciated that more. Just had my car towed two days ago after it broke down unexpectedly. Brandon came and towed my car. He was professional, courteous, and kind. Obviously no one wants their car towed but Brandon definitely made the process much easier with his demeanor.

Critchlow has worked on a couple of my vehicles, and I have been very satisfied. When it comes to bodywork, I dont know anyone thats more fussy than I am and Ive never had a complaint. Ill be taking any of my future work to him, and referring anyone who asks.

The absolute slowest body shop ever! Took them a month to get a few basic parts in and then even longer to repair it. I will never take anything back there unless I dont need it for 6 months minimum. Never go there. Dont waste your time. Wish I could give them a negative rating.

I needed a battery jump for my car when I was visiting my brother. AAA sent these people and I couldnt have been more impressed that they got there under a half hour, the driver Brian V was so polite, shook my hand, professional, and informative. Even as he was driving away, he came back to make sure the alternator was doing ok. I would highly recommend this service from here.

I havent had any towing experience but this is the place we trust to get our car fixed. They save us money each time (even when they dont know theyre doing it.) My friend was given a $800 estimate from another place, so I told him to get one at Critchlows too. He didnt tell them about the problem or the previous estimate. They pointed out the same problem and gave an estimate of a little over $400. That experience solidified my trust. If I ever lose it, I will update this review.

I called AAA for assistants when I locked my keys in the car. Not only was Critchlow late (AAA stated no more than an hour show up time, it was over an hour and a half), when they got there they refused to help me due to muddy parking conditions and left me stranded. The driver was rude and would not even recommend someone who could help. Completely unprofessional.
