Sheri is great to talk to and does everything she can to schedule service as soon as she can. Service is good and so far has worked well for us in keeping bugs and insects out of our house.

I called Budget Pest Control because I heard noise in my chimney and was concerned I had bats or other wildlife that would harm my family. After leaving a message with their answering service, Budget Pest Control called me back immediately and was able to schedule a technician to inspect my problem within a couple days. Due to a scheduling conflict I had to reschedule the technician for a Saturday and they were more than accommodating.That Saturday their technician, Barry, came to my home and within only a few minutes he determined it was Chimney Swifts, which was quite the relief as I was concerned it was a more harmful pest. Since they move on at the beginning of fall there was nothing he had to do, although he suggested that we install a chimney cap so I dont have this problem anymore. Since I was concerned about other pests that the cap would prevent, I thought it was an excellent idea.After scheduling the cap install, I had to reschedule again due to another scheduling conflict. Again, Budget Pest Control was more than accommodating with my request to reschedule. When the day came for installation, Barry the technician came back and had the cap installed in about a half hour. I was very impressed with the efficiency and quality of the work.Overall I had an excellent experience with Budget Pest Control and will use them for any pest control needs I may have in the future.

Incredibly impressed with the responsiveness and price! I had an infestation of Carpenter bees and after 2 treatments they were still coming back! Every time I called, Budget sent out my original exterminator (Nathan was A+) and he worked directly with me to help. The final time, they sent out a manager and we havent seen the bees since. Excellent response and a wonderful company. I would recommend to anyone having infestation issues at all.

Super impressed with a knowledgeable gentleman who did the evaluation on our home for termites. He explained what we were seeing. This company could have given us an inaccurate evaluation and charged us for treatment. We appreciate that they did not do that. We have used them before a rental property treatment with good success, which is why we called them for our own home. They are very professional and knowledgeable. The technician showed us pictures of what it would look like if we had termites and that helped us see the difference. This is our go to company for accurate & honest evaluation and treatment. (no recurrence at the rental property)

We just hired this company to take away termites from our base floor. The team arrived on time, well dressed and work hard to get a rid termites from our base floor. All done quick and painless.

Tech insisted it was a racoon other side of house. Not where I said noise was coming from. Placed a cage where he saw one set of tracks leaving property. After a week nothing in cage. Finally set 2 small clamp type traps where I said noise was coming from. Both traps were gone over the next 2 days. There solution was pay additional $69 after the initial $212, because setting for rodents is different. So they said that they would credit the $199 toward the rodent but it would still cost the additional money. Totally not satisfied!

I called and had them come to my home when they got here I told them about my problems. I had a rat that my husband ended up killing because the traps that they installed were the wrong size opening. the rat was just throwing the trap around my basement to move it out of the entry point in which it was coming in. I called and told them what had happened and I asked for a full refund because their traps did not work. they proceeded to state that they will only give a refund of $100, I paid $220. hey have yet to come back out and retrieve their equipment stating that I said not to come back which was not the case I told them to come get their equipment and I would not like to have a second treatment since we have taken care of the problem. not the manager is refusing to call us back or even speak to me or my husband

Looked up pest control on Angies List. Who showed us this company as their best option. Only then GAVE our number to Budget Pest Control. Who COLD CALLED OUR HOUSE (were on the PA and Federal DNC lists). And the caller ID came up as UNKNOWN NAME (NOT as their business name)! So I dont know if theyre any good or not. Called them back and the woman I talked to said Take it up with Angies List and Home Advisor and HUNG UP on me. Completely unprofessional. So I dont think Ill use their services and I sure as heck cant recommend them. And frankly I dont care how good they are or what their response (if any) will be.

I have had 5 treatments and my problem is still not taken care of. Now I am paying for a monthly service to keep it at bay, when it was never solved in the first place. The technician basically blames it on me for bringing it into the house, but I am following everything he tells me to do. I havent slept in months and this is costing me a ton of money. Cant seem to find the root of the problem. Not happy with this company.

Dont use this Pest control company. Total ripoff and they change their process and try to charge you hundreds more. Their customer service is awful and they go through recorded phone calls you had with then to point out the grey areas in the phone conversations. Simply put you try to get mole or vole control and it becomes a major nightmare of dealing with them calling you a liar and refusing to treat the area because thats not how they do things anymore even a few weeks later.

We had a mice problem that was getting out of hand. I contacted Budget Pest Control through their website and the responded within minutes and helped me setup appointments. The tech that came to our house was professional kind and so helpful both times he came to our house. I havent seen a mouse in a couple weeks and am so pleased with their services - safe for our dog and our guinea pigs (who are caged). Thank you! Definitely recommend!!

Ive been serviced twice now by Budget but Ive shopped around numerous times and every time, Ive always landed on them. They LITERALLY and sincerely care about the work they do and the way they handle their customers. From the moment they pick up the phone theyre genuinely polite, they answer every question completely and thoroughly, theyre extremely reasonable on all fronts and Im just like, man, I love these people!! You can tell they are managed/owned by folks who are in business to take care of people because its a trickle down effect thats very obvious to me. I have no reason to go else where for anything I need in the way of pests AND theyre usually a little cheaper than their comp. Im winning all the way around with them.

These guys saved me. I had a real nasty infestation of bed bugs, nothing I tried worked. When I finally tried a professional, it was well worth the money! Ill admit I was skeptical at first when I had heard it can take two weeks for the treatment to reach full potency, but that really was the case. I have been bed bug free for close to a month now and couldnt be happier. Cannot recommend Budget Pest Control enough.

The service itself was completed promptly and our critters have been gotten rid of. We were not impressed with the overall work during the period we worked with Budget - it seemed sloppy and unprofessional. The original price quotes were incorrect and much lower than they eventually charged - claiming it was a typo. The traps were placed haphazardly in semi-random areas and we caught more than was bargained for (raccoon in addition to the groundhog - which we still paid to remove both). It is all the micro transactions where the money is spent - trap set up, removing each animal, etc. When they removed the traps for the last time we had a screw and wire left in our roof which would have caused leakage. The price quoted for repairs to the areas where animals were getting in were exorbitant. We shopped around and found a wonderful company who did the repairs for a fraction of the price and also repaired issues caused by Budget at no additional cost. I would not recommend using Budget in the future. The processes are flawed and are created in a manner that incurs more overall cost. The services received are not to the standard we would expect.

I have had this service for several years & have been pleased . There has been a few times they had to come back without any hesitation they obliged promptly and reapplied the service . I do have one problem with the service the techs are always very nice and accommodating but they eventually quit! I have had exceptional service from them but they all say the same thing, management or owners are not nice to the employees and as a result the quit! This is upsetting! They always did a good job so why do they all quit!!!! I think the owners should re examine how their employees are treated & correct the problem.

I was very pleased with my service on 6/18/2019. The service man who came to my home was very nice and informative. The situation seemed to be under control. I was told that an email would be sent out prior to my warranty expiring.I received an email on 8/23/2019, stating that my warranty was ABOUT to expire. I called the number provided to extend my treatment and continue using Budget Pest to service my home. I was told that my warranty had expired on 8/17/2019. I questioned this as I had not received any notice prior to expiration. The man on the phone told me that the company sends out those email AROUND the expiration date. A week after is unacceptable! I followed up my phone call with an email and still have yet to receive any response.I needed the extended warranty as I had presence of insects almost immediately around when the warranty was ABOUT to expire. I refuse to give business to a company that is unprofessional when it comes to keeping their word.I would highly consider using another company or make sure that they follow up on their promises.

This week Budget Pest Control visited my house. I was looking to see if there were any pets that had entered my residence. They did not find any pests of any sort and explainEd thoroughly which ones are likely to be present in Pennsylvania specifically. They wrote out a nice document that explained the specifics of their inspection and that they were able to tell that no previous pest control attempts have been made at my house as well. The gentleman were very professional, prompt, and I would highly recommend them.

Paid $300 to have bait traps installed to take care of mice and it didn’t solve the problem. Then paid another $200 to have their wildlife expert place a cage on my roof but they didn’t catch anything. $500 down the drain with no results.

I have used Budget for two years now. I called them late on a Sunday night. I received a response by 8:15 am Monday morning, and technician Ron was there by 2:15 pm that day. He explained everything that he was doing and was professional and polite. I live in a rural location next to a wooded area so a critter or two sneaks into my home in the fall. After one treatment last year, no more critters. I feel that it is money well spent for quality service that I can count on.

Happy to have my eaves treated for carpenter bees, but will it ever stop? They spray every 2 mo; I would think at some point I won’t need it. But if I STOP the auto-spraying schedule and the bees come back...I pay more to “start over”. Bees are staying away (of course it’s winter)...but I’m not want to carry this expense forever.

I was told that all vents would be checked and cleaned to ensure that any points of entry for birds were eliminated and I would be shown the options for vent covers. The technician didn’t even clean out the dryer vent where the bird entered the house and didn’t bother to check any other vents and I was never even shown the vent cover that he put on let alone any options. I had to clean the dryer vent where there was a nest. The charge of $229 for a vent cover and $99 to remove the bird (which was blocked off in laundry room) is excessive for what was actually done compared to what I was told would be done.

We had seen several mice in the area of our back deck and who were apparently nesting under there next to our ome. We were concerned that they woudl be entering the home especially when colder weather arrived. I called Budget and they responded promptly and baited every sie of the house. The tech was polite and explained exactly what he was doing and told me to call if the problem persisited after two weeks. I was very satisfied with the service.

I used budget pest control for a Bee / wasp problem,They came out and sprayed in all the areas where the bees were constantly flying around, three weeks later the bees were still flying around I am allergic to bees so I basically have to stay in the house when this is happening we called back they sent someone out the following week to spray again it’s going on a week and there still a lot of bees flying around, it seems like even more. I started wondering if they sprayed something to attract the bees instead of repel them.At this point I don’t know what to do I obviously don’t want to stay in my house all summer but these 🐝 don’t seem to want to leave.

I had Alex come out on the 20th of December for a mice problem, I have given it a week before I did my first Initial review. I have checked EVERYWHERE that he put the little bags and none have even been touched. It seems the problem its getting worse! They dont even tell you possible entries so you can deal with the problem. I just seen one on my counter and have NO CLUE where it came from. They say to call back in 2 weeks if the problem still continues and I can tell I will definitely be calling back for another treatment. But if its going to be the same little white bags that we watched the mouse hop over I dont think I want it and will definitely see about a refund! Hopefully in the next week I see results!I will update if treatment is working properly!

I I normally am not home when the technician arrives, but the times I have been here, I thought the professionalism and punctuality were on target. I do not have any complaints to date and highly recommend their service.

I sent out a query to any Pest Inspection Service in the area via HomeAdvisor and Budget was the only one to get back to me and then take my call on a Sunday, which is impressive. Budget was also able to work with me on scheduling and offered plenty of options to fit anyone’s schedule. As far as the quoted prices after the inspection, I thought were a bit high but then again, my property had signs of infestation so it was more than just preventative treatment, which I haven’t dealt with before so cannot really say without a comparison. Highly recommended!

So we had an issue with a raccoon in the roof of the addition of our home. I called budget and explained that you could hear something in our roof and it was making loud noises. The person on the other line said oh that’s a squirrel. I’m not a pest control expert BUT this was obviously a raccoon. Their tech came out on Monday morning was very friendly and explained that this was probably a squirrel and he would place a squirrel trap. I was skeptical but like I said I’m not an expert so I followed their advice.After a week we hadn’t heard anything and the trap was empty everyday. Budget called and was going to pull the trap the day before they were coming to get the trap I heard the noise again also you could see raccoon tracks in the snow. I called Budget and they said they would send a technician again to see what was going on. The technician did a more thorough inspection and there is a shed built into the addition to our home and there were raccoon prints throughout the shed. They placed a raccoon trap and after a week no raccoon was caught. Budget called and said they would pull the trap. I tried to explain that the problem wasn’t solved and they said that their technician would call me to discuss. I never received the call and they pulled the trap despite not actually catching the raccoon. They just came on our property and removed the trap without saying anything not even a knock on the door or phone call.Now they were very friendly throughout but they didn’t actually solve the problem the raccoon was burrowing under a porch to get into the shed and Budget advertises that they would provide a quote on preventing the animals from getting entry. We didn’t get any quote on securing the shed or any phone call. We basically paid a couple hundred dollars for nothing. Now in fairness we haven’t heard anything in the week so maybe just the technician rooting around on the roof caused the raccoon to leave on his own. I don’t think this is a bad company they were friendly and I would actually rate them 2 1/2 out of 5 stars. They should have listened to what the customer was saying instead of jumping to the conclusion that it was a squirrel and we may have caught the raccoon and known for certain that it has been removed. Instead we wasted a lot of time and if the raccoon decides to return it can still get access to our roof. I will need to hire someone else to come and make sure they can’t get in again and if we have any other issues I will contact another company that listens to their customers and will work to provide us with peace of mind.Just also wanted to note that the owner despite his reply that he would reach out has not. Like I said it’s not a terrible company friendly etc. BUT their communication is terrible and they don’t follow through with what they say they will.

After the initial inspection, Matthew took time to answer all my what and why questions on carpenter ants, and how the treatment works. Exemplary customer service from Don, who took my initial call, to Matt who provided the onsite service. Both gentlemen were extremely courteous and professional.

Scott and Colin came to my home to get rid of the mice issue at hand. They walked me through the process step by step and both gentlemen answered all of my questions in a friendly, polite and professional manner. I informed them of being fearful and petrified of mice and felt somewhat at ease by time they left. I truly recommend them and give the company a 5 star

They were great about coming back out and spraying again. The techs were very kind and knowledgable. Hopefully this most recent spray does the trick and this wasn’t a waste of money. I will update in a few weeks!

Every time I call them with questions or updates on our situation they are pleasant and informative. They come out to set up the traps as necessary. Each person is so well trained and I learn something new with each interaction. I recommend this company VERY HIGHLY!

I cannot say enough for this company. I called them on Labor Day immediately after I found an enormous wasp nest in my basement. They arrived within a few hours. I never thought I would get anyone to remove the nest on the same day that I called, let alone on Labor day. Amazingly, they came and took care of business. They are priced right and know what to do. Fantastic service. The technicians were on time, professional, friendly, and thorough. Their guarantee is real. We initially only sprayed the exterior of the house. When I saw ants inside a week later and called, they promptly came back out and sprayed the interior at no charge b/c it was covered by the original warranty. We havent seen any ants since. Scott explained the process in detail, and answered all my questions. He was punctual for the appointment. The drill holes in the concrete areas for treatment are small, and after refilled, are barely visible. The treatment process doesnt disturb the landscape. Well see in a couple of months if the treatment is successful.

We have a squirrel problem. The rodent was eating at the corner of the roof - eating away at wood (not a food source!). Budget came out and trapped one. The tech told me that another squirrel would not come back because theyre so territorial. He did set another trap just to be safe. The next day, the trap was empty but had closed with no animal inside. We called and told them to pick up the empty trap. They didnt show up for 2 days. Not a big deal, in our eyes. Now, another squirrel comes back and is eating at the same spot. Tech shows up and I ask him why 2 different squirrels are choosing to eat at the same spot. His answer they like to sharpen their teeth. On the same spot. On the same house. No other house on the street is having this problem? Bad answer. Then I ask, How can a different squirrel come here if theyre so territorial? He suggested maybe they were living together. Ok. They would not set a trap this time because they said we didnt call on the day in between our call to pick up the empty trap and the day they picked up the trap. This business is simply trying to bilk my elderly parents out of money. I asked the tech if he had anything that would prevent squirrels from coming back. He said no. Really? Youre an exterminator and no preventative measures can be taken? A simple Google search showed mothballs should be ok. Dont waste your money on these people.

Spent nearly $300 for two visits consisting of gas and poison and we still have one tiny mole tearing up the back yard. This organization hides behind emails and sends numerous email invoices out per day. Emails are not signed so you have no idea who is sending them. I do not recommend

Ryan was very nice, kind and funny trying to make laugh so i feel better about the bug problems I am having. If customer service people they have are all like Ryan then they are doing a good job! I am having them treat my house next Sunday. Fingers crossed that the bugs are gone for good after they come! Ask for Ryan when you call ♡

Paid Budget Pest Control to treat the house for Carpenter Bees. They charged $149 and said the Bees were not active. A couple of weeks later, I called the saying that the bees were still there but they asked for another $149 claiming the warranty had expired. Don’t waste your money and go somewhere else for pest control!!

Excellent. They have been to my house three times for a horrible outdoor ant infestation. The first two visits they used the normal product and the ants didnt seem fazed much. The third visit got a stronger product and now I am happy to report that there are no (living) insects in my yard. Fingers crossed that it lasts. The service person has always arrived in time and explained everything thoroughly. I am very pleased with the service I received.

We are on the recurring treatment plan for mice. I am supposed to have a technician coming to my house once a month, or once every other month, to check and add more poison etc. This isn’t happening on a regular basis. Appointments are scheduled with no warning, at random. There is never a consistent day or time. We must call right away to either cancel or reschedule to avoid a charge, The technicians are nice. But, aside from laying poison; they do nothing to prevent the mice from coming into our home. No holes are sealed or fixed to prevent entry. We have sealed bait boxes outside. The concept was: the mice will enter through the hole, take the bait and go into the woods and die. Well, either the boxes are empty because no one has been here in awhile, or this plan isn’t working. I just saw a live mouse in my basement. Also, please don’t say I’m a customer. I am!

We have used Budget for all pest issues since moving into our house, including termite issues the first year, and a couple hornets nests on our property. We also use their maintenance service to eliminate spiders and other crawling insects that we could find in our basement. The service is always fantastic, and the techs are friendly and knowledgeable. Budget is a great value and we couldnt be happier.

Budget Pest Control was at my house to help with a Carpenter Ant issue. The office people were helpful and very pleasant to talk with. The tech that come out was very professional, personable and knowledgeable. He treated the outside of my home as well as the targeted area. He was thorough as well as time efficient. We knew we had some type of bird in our vent above our stove in the kitchen. We heard flapping andscratching.We would called a different pest control company first and explained exactly what we were hearing and they said it sounded like a bird.When they came out they informed us they did not do that type of work.So we called Budget and when Glen got here he already knew what type of problem we were having.He immediately got on his ladder and looked down the vent and told us it looked like a bird had been in there but was no longer there.He put a different type of vent cover on.He was dressed like a true professional and acted the same.I cannot begin to say enough nice things about Budget Pest Control

Pushy. Theyre not what they used to be. It was the dead of winter and I was extremely busy at work and when I didnt schedule asap for an appointment within the next couple of weeks, they warned I would have to pay the startup fees again.My home is an exterior treat 99% of the time and I have seen no bugs in the snow and none indoors! I had far better luck with the last owner! The service techs did their job but for all I know they were spraying water. I dont believe I had some special mutant bugs but in- between (warranty) services had to keep happening when the bug population didnt decrease as expected. I was doing a better job with Ortho and wasp spray!I used Budget at multiple homes over the past decade. I used to be satisfied. They used to give better results and not pressure me when my life got hectic! That is why I stayed with them. The new ownership is why I wont be going back! I noticed the same form letter replies on the bad reviews but they seemed to have stopped replying to the reviews after so long.The 2 star review is basically because the techs showed up when they were supposed to. Even with newer looking equipment, half of the time the big sprayer wasnt working so they were trying to spray my eves from the ground with that.Why was I paying full price??

These guys were referred to me by several people. I own 7 different properties in the Pittsburgh area and have used them many times for many problems. The most current is our car dealership Southside Motors. They always show up when they say they are going to and have always took care of any problems Ive had. Great customer service and very reasonable prices. Ive tried other big name places only to be left with bugs and a big bill.

Great experience for a not so great situation. An unfortunate neighborhood mess has caused quite the disturbance in and around our home. I was able to get a quote (which matched my actual service), set an appointment, and have my issue treated in less than 36 hours. Even better was our tech Dakota S. He was friendly and knowledgeable and was able to answer our many questions and address our concerns in a short amount of time. Don’t use this company! Total rip off. Called about bed bugs. We are clean people and did everything we were told. After initial treatment of $500 the bed bugs didn’t go away. According to them we Had to have them come back for warranty every month. For 100$ each time. Finally gave up with them. Do not use.

Ive used Budget Pest Control two times so far and am very happy with their work. Last year I had them out to treat for ants and rodents.  When I called the office the guy was proffesional and answered all of my questions. He was able to schedule a treatment for the same week. The technician arrived on time and it eliminated the problems. When I started noticing rodent droppings in my garage this year, I called Budget Pest Control again.  They were equally great this year.  I would definitely recommend them!
