Amazing staff they help you with anything and theres always something to do 😁💕

I have been a member of Vincent House since 2012. This beautiful community literally gave me a life. For much of my life I felt like I could never fit in anywhere. The staff at Vincent House gave me the feeling of being loved, wanted, and needed. I developed pride and confidence from doing tasks, and I also learned many new skills. I now work PT in my field, and have held this job for years.Even though Vincent House didnt get me this job, they certainly helped me develop the confidence and social skills to keep it.And besides work, I now have friends and a social life. I go to the Wednesday night dinners and all the holiday parties. I also still attend Vincent House to better myself, help others, and contribute to life. I hope this review inspires someone to join.

I first came to Vincent House in early 2003 when it first was at buccaneer plaza and it looked to be a great power house that it is today. I disappeared all the whole year of 2003 and came back in March 2004 under the influence of a friend named Athena Nichols who is no longer with us God rest her soul and all the members who passed, and staff and members, like myself who came here left a legacy and moved on to other states and other careers and i truly miss the people who were there during my timeI was here at Vincent House....!!!! My hats off to the fighting spirit of Elliot and Diane Steele for welcoming me into their midst all those years ago!!!!

Vincent House is a great way to get back to work. The members are wonderful. The staff is supportive and helpful. Every day you learn something new at Vincent House. Its more than a clubhouse, its a family-- once a member, always a member.

I have been a member of Vincent House since July, 2011. Having attended several rehabilitation centers in the past I believe Vincent House is the most dedicated work rehabilitation center for individuals with developmental and psychiatric disabilities that I have encountered. Their staff and members work together in a unique cooperative environment to help members obtain employment. Vincent House is divided into three sections. Member Services helps members learn computer skills to promote member activities and Vincent House events. Business Services also teaches computer skills for example in creating daily newsletters and maintaining the Vincent House Bank. Food Services is perhaps Vincent Houses most comprehensive program providing meals to members twice daily and catering Vincent House events. Supported by knowledgeable job coaches Vincent House finds full and p/t as well as transitional employment opportunities for members. I myself took pride and a bi-weekly paycheck last summer working as a busser/runner for an exclusive resort.If you are developmentally or psychiatrically disabled and are serious about re-joining the work force please check out Vincent House today. Membership is free but, because of Vincent Houses success, there may be a short waiting list for admission to the program.
