Not a good experience. The receptionist thinks she is a doctor. Tried to get an appointment, because my daughter wasn’t doing well. She told her that the person that prescribes the medication is on vacation. My daughter ended up in the hospital. When my daughter got out of the hospital, we tried to make an appointment and the receptionist said the hospital should have given her a 30 day supply, but they didn’t. We got a sooner appointment, but this receptionist is ridiculous. My daughter was in danger, and the receptionist said that it wasn’t an emergency and she wouldn’t reach out to the doctor. The receptionist is going to get them sued.

I havent gone there for a year and my husband also started going there. I started first off with the psychologist so I was getting my medications because Ive been on medications for almost 37 years where as he started with a counselor to begin his journey on this beautiful road of mental illness. All in all I I mean I speaking for myself love my psychologist and I tried to get my husband with him but there was such a long wait that he needed his medications so we called and they said they would put him with someone that would continue what he was on when he left his last place at the last minute we got a newbie Jonathan hes a new psychologist I guess because that wasnt the original second choice cuz like I said the first one he was supposed to get with mine Kevin and then the second one was not him but they put him with him first visit they had problems We complain but the sad part was it was only asked to the psychiatrist and he made it sound like it was about the medications so of course my doctor Kevin denied the request to leave Johnson which Ive always found weird that you have to stay with someone you dont like jump forward I begin talking with his counselor because my husbands very introverted and I just fell in love with her Trish is her name and now we both see her separately and she does help us as counseling to couples she is more than just my counselor shes like a best friend I can call her about everything and anything and tell her anything so the last couple visit with Jonathan its been all right with Andrew he hasnt really bothered him and is my husband but when I had my visit with my psychologist Kevin believe it or not I ended up getting a fill in and it was Jonathan I have lost six people since the beginning of the year two of them were my parents a month apart two of them were very very close best friends and one was murdered and now I just lost a new good friend so Im a mess and then our house and probate now its out Ive been living with my parents for 26 years cuz I believe this is so on reporting the story is Kevin is an awesome psychologist and when he found out how Jonathan treats me on our feelings appointment he was appalled and now hes going to take Andrew off of him that way Andrew can get the correct medication I mean hes antithesis antibiotics telling Andrew this and that when my husband has been on medication and he knows what his body can take and with me he changed my medication which feelings are not supposed to do he put me in a psychosis I almost hurt people I hurt almost hurt myself I curse people out I mean it it was bad so he was going to get dealt with I wonder what happened besides that some like the counselors are not connected with psychiatrist and things like that I think this place if you get the right psychiatrist in the right counselor is a awesome place so I guess I would recommend trying it and if you have issues I recommend speaking out and as I told Kevin its not fair that he only listened to Jonathans side of the story and didnt call Andrew and hear his side so always speak up I think they should handle people with mental illnesses a little better but theyre getting better I got lucky and got the good psychologist my husband got lucky got the good counselor which now I have so Im sick but my husband will be set here soon because Jonathan is no longer going to be seen my husband because I told Kevin or Ill get him right out of there you just got to speak your mind but its a good place and they have helped me through this hard time and I think sequel Kevin Williams and Trish sorry honey I dont know your last name just crazy LOL

I have a great history with therapists at this office. I’m currently receiving services and I’m pleased with the progress I’m making. The receptionist office, however, is very unorganized. I have now missed 3 consecutive virtual appointments due to miscommunication and technicalities with the app used to contact the chosen psychiatrist. There is no way for you to reach the doctor yourself. You are put in a Zoom waiting room and wait to be chosen for your time slot. I waited in the lobby for 45 minutes, twice, just to be told that I have missed my appointment. When I try to get the problem resolved with Ms. Shardae, she proceeds to tell me that I should have continuously logged in and out of the app every 15 minutes until the doctor was ready. This didn’t make sense and no one told me this information until it was too late. Although I was waiting in the lobby, the doctor had no way to communicate with me whatsoever. I asked if I could speak with him asap, since it was their system that prevented me from reaching him. I was then told that if my mental crisis was serious enough then I should go to a different office to make an appointment. When I tried to make another appointment for the closest date, she then told me she had other calls coming in as if I needed to hurry up and get off the phone. I’ve had a relationship with this office for going on 6 years and I was very disappointed with how poorly I was treated. I now have to wait another month to see the psychiatrist, making it 4 months total. I tried to elaborate the severity of my current mental health just to be treated as if I’m a nuisance. Although this particular experience was unprofessional, the therapists are lovely and I appreciate the help I received from them. Up until today I have felt very comfortable with SequelCare.

Great experience, friendly environment, my therapist Joseph Bradham explained things thoroughly and listened to me and was kind, made me feel like I could open up and be honest without judgement or embarrassment.

Sequal care of FL illegally forged my signature on multiple HIPPA release forms. Not only is this a felony it is a complete breach of trust. Be careful.

Went here for help for my son and the staff is very kind and tries to be helpful that being said. My son was put on antidepressants and told he should not take himself off this medicine. I tried to schedule several times appointments and never got call back finally I had to go into the office to schedule appointment and get his refill. Well the Doctor only works Thursday and I myself work I had to schedule a week out because they wont let his grandmother bring him in for the appointment. Now my son is off his meds for 11 days because they wont refill unless they see him. I am looking for help elsewhere

Cannot believe anyone has complaints, but you cant please everyone. I have been with sequel for many years, first with my home daycare, then with my foster and adopted children.I have nothing but praise for the entire staff, who are always very positive and willing to research and find resources outside of their own to better help their clients.I recommend them highly.

I love Dr. Mina Shah shes a wonderful psych Dr. Her office is very nice, exceptionally clean with toys for kids and cartoons to keep them occupied. Quick wait times. Its also nice to have a psych appt where your blood pressure and weight are checked each time. They really take the time to talk and listen to their patients, from the very helpful receptionist the sweet nurse and the very kind Dr. Shah.

Amazing therapeutic counseling services offered here. Counselors come to you. They a very skilled therapist who go the extra mile

Bad experience! My girlfriend is on all NON narcotic meds as she has had substance abuse issues in the past. She is currently sober and told the doctor how well she is doing. Dr. Williams still wanted to prescribe her Xanax. Even had her call her mom while in his office to ask if her mom could help her manage her medicine. After 10 minutes of talking and all being considered, thats the conclusion he came to! What a joke.

The doctors and care is above par. I honestly do not know what I would have done if I hadn’t found them staff is great every time I go they will help you in any anyway they can.

Love the staff, the support and help that sequel care has given me over the years has changed my life for the better.

I have left several messages for them as the meds were needing a prior authorization. My sons appt is 2/27/2019 - now today the mailbox is FULL so I cant leave a message.
