One of the best non-profits in the Phoenix Valley. Ive never met a group of people who care more for individuals from the moment someone walks in those doors to the accomplishment of finding a job and helping someone maintain employment. Not only do they help with finding jobs for individuals struggling, but they help with the resources aspect that may hinder people from maintaining a job - whether that be bus passes, clothing, boots, tools, etc. The people who work there truly care about everyone that walks in and its amazing to see what their work does to our community!!

Saint Joseph the Worker provides the resources you need to obtain and maintain quality employment. They provide resume assistance, employment success workshops, and the actual hand-up you need to be self-sufficient! I couldnt recommend it more.

I attended a job fair on January 15th, 2020. I met Darren and Paula from SJW and they were very realistic and down to earth about employment. They treated me like a part of their family. I called Darren the next day and he referred me to Paula. Right away, I was provided a gas card and gave me money for boots and assisted with a back brace for the job - which is a very physical demanding a job. I also recommended my friend to St. Joseph and they were able to help him out as well. I appreciate everything they have done for me and will definitely be volunteering my time there!

SJW constantly looks for resources for folks with a strong desire to gain employment. What works best for the client? Discussions with clients are best to determine their needs and job leads provided. Follow up with SJW/client is important to ensure client has what they need for their new job. An awesome support from SJW to the client is something like a bus pass so they can get TO work! Awesome!

No better organization to help you with your employment needs. Everyone is treated individually and assessed for their prior jobs, personal history and desires for employment. They then break down any barriers you may have to accepting the job, like tools etc..Got a criminal background or gaps in employment? These people will get you hired!
