Since I have to rate this POOR excuse of a staffing agency I will... minus zero—> Acara should be closed all the way down- I worked for this staffing agency for two weeks starting 10/13/2020 - 10/16/2020 as the 1st week of training and 10/18/2020 - 10/20/20 my 12 hour shifts OJT * on the job training * At the worksite ... ( I’ll start with last Monday 10/19/2020 when the problems began ) I’d been sending emails to Raquel Zarate and Adam Willis trying to figure out if there was a time card system that would show employees of Acara their clock in/out punches to calculate hours- the feedback I received from Raquel was that Medtronic *where I’ve been working* would POSSIBLY have my clock In/out information...Wait a minute WHAT!? So you mean to tell me that the staffing agency I’m employed through ( Acara ) has no record- keeping of my hours!? The only way to know was to contact my Medtronic supervisor Antonio ( who’s out of the office ) and he’d forward my hours from KRONOS to Acara... I knew this staffing agency was BS then but I continued to work... Fast forward to payday 10/23/2020... I hadn’t received a alert on my phone stating my paycheck had been deposited to my bank...WHY??? Because my supervisor Antonio DID NOT submit my hours- common sense would tell Acara to reach out to Medtronic to remind them of submitting temporary employees hours- ( but sense isn’t all that common )... so after sending repeated emails and calling Acara I finally got ahold of Adam and then Raquel who informed me that my check would be expedited and I’d have it today ( Monday 10/26/2020 ) well here it is Monday... and after repeated calls and emails—>still no resolution- I finally got Raquel on the phone and now the excuse is.. Acara is waiting on payroll to approve my hours...WHAT!? This is how I know that my check for this coming Friday 10/30/2020 will be f***ed as well... Acara staffing is full of sh*t!!! I’m definitely about to reach out to my lawyers... DO NOT GO THROUGH THIS STAFFING FIRM IF YOU CAN HELP IT! GIVE ME MY “JUST DUE “ ACARA!
Superior has been the only agency that’s gone above and beyond for me. They gave me an assignment immediately that’s absolutely perfect for me. Any questions or concerns I’ve had have been dealt with immediately and professionally. I’ve had no issues with my checks; I’ve actually had no issues at all. They’re great and I’ve been very satisfied with the service. I definitely give 2 thumbs way up.
My experience with Superior has been a great one. I had applied for a job through Indeed and worked with Jennifer. She walked me through each step of the process, and was friendly, professional, and encouraging the entire time I worked with her. I’ve never worked with a third party recruiter before, however Jennifer made it feel like I was working directly with the hiring company. Although I ended up taking an offer from a different company, I would definitely look to Superior Group should I end up on the job market in the future.
I worked for Superior for 18 months. I was luckily able to convert my contract into a permanent position with the company I contracted with while working at Superior Group. The hiring process was smooth and I basically never heard from Superior throughout my employment. However, when you have an issue such as a payroll, vacation or a W2 issue, they are almost impossible to get to help. The HR department that handles Payroll and W2s is a complete joke. There was basically no communication it appeared between my local office and the corporate office in New York. I literally called and emailed for days one time with no response locally so i called New York and they acted like the people in my state were operating on their own and were very rude. Not a horrible company to work for, but far from great and seriously lacking in organization.
Transitioning soldier. They got me a job in 4 days. Very professional, effecient, and professional! I couldnt believe how fast they work!
Unprofessional. I had been contacted by a recruitment specialist initially, asking if a current opportunity they had was a good fit for me. I said it was and we started the process of submitting my information and resume to the company. A week later I had received a call from another recruiter from their office stating the company was interested in conducting a phone interview with me and to look for an email communication from them within the week. I had zero communication from Superior Group or the company. I contacted the original recruiter handling my case stating I was available but have not received any communication from the company. He said he would email the hiring manager (I feel that email was never sent based on what I describe next). It has been weeks and I have heard nothing. I looked up the position online again and all listings have been taken down. I can only assume the position has been filled. Upon emailing multiple times, I have received little to no communication from Superior Group recruiters. From start to end it has been a month of waiting. I dont mind not being the right fit for the company, my feelings wont get hurt. What I feel is unprofessional is the total lack of communication with what is going on, especially for a company whos primary function is to connect people. At the end of the day, I feel like I was lied to and strung along for a month as if my time was not valuable. I have worked with staffing agencies and recruitment specialists before and I have never had an experience like this. I Hope this sparks some change. At the end of the day, we are all just trying to get connected with great people to work for, and to work with. This was a disappointing experience.
I wanted to put no stars! After working for this company they will DELAY your pay you rightfully deserve. I contacted payroll and found that they deposited my check into the WRONG account! Payroll does not know what they are DOING!!! I still am waiting for my paycheck, a week later...dont do business with this company!!!
This place is very unorganized as far as the process it takes to get set up as far as the whole entire process goes, and the staff who work there are very ineffective and un-knowledgeable when it comes to basic information. They do not give you the best assignments if you are trying to be in a sales or customer service environment. The only benefit about this place is they provide weekly pay and thats about it. I had a temp assignment with this agency for customer care and technical support for a payroll processing company in North Phoenix. I was let go after 7 weeks for absolutely no reason all because an fellow employee which had a bad attitude and a never ending MOTORMOUTH had some personal issues with me due to not wanting to hear her political views and so on and so on and so on. They didnt give me a definite reason on why I was even let go, and claimed that I harassed this employee all because I threatened to go directly to the agency to report her. They do not hire the best candidates for any client that they have contracts with, I should know since I was always on time, and only missed one day, while everyone else who I worked with was always late, asked to leave early for various illegitimate reasons. Not only that but were also unprofessional and goofed off while working on the job. I would stay away from this place and go with a more well known staffing agency. The client that I worked for called Paychex provided absolute no training for the first week I was there, and we were forced to learn stuff on our own. The manager that came down from the corporate office the first week to introduce us to the company was exteremely rude, hard to understand and also like Superior un knowledgable about what we really were there to do. After a week of having him leave, we had no supervisor in our department for about 5 weeks, because as we learned it was just in the process of being set up which was never explained to us until the first day of employment. I deeply regret choosing this temp agency over other offers at the time, as I will never choose one ever in the future for any of my employment endeavors. If you are looking for just some pay to get by until you find your dream job then by all means choose this place to work. If you are looking for a long term career move, DONT!
