Id like to give these guys the benefit of the doubt because they are courteous. Thats what the two stars are for. Perhaps they were a man short, today. I should have known something was different when I pulled up and no one came to greet me. Thats always been the norm.For eight years I have been coming to this Valvoline location exclusively to have my oil changed. I think maybe Ive gone elsewhere one other time, but I always came back here. However today, I dont know what was going on but I sat in line behind two other cars for an hour and a half (that includes my service). When it finally came to my turn I decided to time them because according to the owner of this location, Valvoline specializes in fast service, premium products, and short wait times. (Which he/she says justifies paying the high $89.99 price tag). It took over 30 minutes just do do my car. That is DOUBLE the advertised time of 15 minutes. I am not sure what the owners definition of short wait time is but it isnt 30 minutes. From a business standpoint it is in their best interest to keep wait times short because then you have more throughput (can service more cars per hour) and fewer dissatisfied/annoyed customers who will for sure go elsewhere.So, the owners justification for Valvoline charging $89.99 for an oil change just went out the window. If youre going to tout that your business provides the perk of short wait times and that you are justified in charging $90 bucks, you should ensure your customers are getting what they pay for - the convenience of a quick oil change. As of this posting, we customers are not getting that and I will be looking for a new place to have my oil done.

I usually hate having to get my oil changed, but those guys were awesome!I was overdue for an oil change. I called several places at 4:45pm, even though most of them closed at 6pm, they all said NO. Finally, I called Valvoline. The lady who answered said, Absolutely! we would take you even if you came in at 5:55. She also sent me a text with two coupons. Very nice!I drove right there, and was greeted immediately. They let me know what bay to go in, told me I could sit in my car, or the waiting area, offered me a bottled water. I pulled in sat in my car, and watched the guys hustle. They all communicated with each other very well.The guy who took my info was super nice, and very helpful. He answered all my questions about windshield wipers, filters, oil weight, etc. I think his name was Chris.All of them were professional, and the oil change was done fast. They also checked the fluids, and tires.I heard they were expensive, which I disagree. It seemed the same rate Ive paid at other places, only they had exceptional customer service, and a very fast, friendly, knowledgeable team of employees.Thanks Valvoline!

You cannot find a better place to service your vehicle. That is ANY maintenance service, they can handle everything! You wont find a more professional, attentive, customer service minded group in any profession! TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE, you will be happy you did! 👍😁

If I could give them more stars I would! The fastest oil change I have ever had. You don’t need an appointment, you can stay in your car while they do it, and the staff was beyond professional and considerate. They also checked my head/brake lights, cabin air filter, and tire pressure without charge. I will definitely be coming back!

Probably the best & most professional oil change service I have ever received.Even though they were very busy, they kept me informed of the wait time & even offered me a cold water that was much appreciated.The service for the price is more than reasonable & they even gave me a coupon for the synthetic oil option that I was not expecting.The Valvoline service was outstanding with a smile!

Great trustworthy service even when very busy. These guys know what they are doing. I also like how they go above and beyond to show you oil level and other items your car or truck may need. Been there once before and I will keep going back for the courteous great service. I dont have to worry about filter loose or oil pan plug too tight. The guys were incredibly fast and efficient. I didnt have to step foot out of my car and any questions about my car were answered by the knowledgeable technician that was working on my car. I recommend this place for anyone that has had a long day at work and you just wanna drive through real quick and not spend 5 hours waiting in a lobby. I think mine took about 20 min in and out. First time!I was surprised, in and out in about 5-10 minutes they changed my oil checked my fluids, washer fluids, tires and everything just for a basic oil change! I won’t go anywhere else again! Thank you Valvular line and your workers very professional and knowledgeable!

I know nothing about maintaining newer vehicles, so looked around for every special and asked for recommendations. My oil life was down to 15% and the gaskets had worn enough there was a tiny leak, so I didnt want to wait. Its nice to see how much goes into checking the maintenance of the vehicles that come through their shops. The mechanics are friendly and make the wait as comfortable as possible. My spoiled car wanted even more attention, because it had such a good time.

My mother and I came here before we headed out of town to get a oil change they let us know that our battery needed to be replaced as well. We bought a battery and they placed the battery on. Half way to our destination we stopped at a gas station and the car wouldn’t start again. We found out that they didn’t tighten the battery on so it kept turning off. We called and spoke to the manager and the manager laughed and said “we’ll you’re speaking hypothetical the car came back on so at least you made it” that is the most unprofessional response I ever heard from a place that you are putting your car in their hands. I don’t know if it was because we are ethnic women that they didn’t care that a mistake they made could’ve been super dangerous but I will never do service at this place again and I encourage any ethnic women especially any black women to not do business here

I waiting 1 hour !!!!!!! For an oil change. Employees worked extremely slow and did not display any urgency to get the job done. Wish I would have just gone to my dealership. It would have been faster and better quality. Extremely disappointed and will NEVER come back or use this company again. Save your time and money.

Always fast but the push to up sale is really bad. Have a brand new car and they wanted to change the air filter, add fuel injector cleaner, change windshield wipers, and check up on the transmission.

I love this place! Every time I need a oil change I go to Valvoline hands down. It’s quick and easy. From start to finish it’s always a max of 10 mins. Most places you go to to get a oil change they are pushy for other services. But at Valvoline they are so nice they give you recommendations and a paper that says the things your car might need. Never have any of the employees pushed for me to do something I didn’t want. When it comes to price I would much rather pay what they have to offer for the Comfort of being in my own car and the way they treat the customers. Also the website always has a nice little discount every time.

Once I pulled my car into the bay, they changed my oil and put a new air filter in so fast, it was hard to believe I was in there 10 minutes and on my way! I could see why they were so busy. Dont even have to get out of your car. Fast paced. Friendly and knowledgeable techs. Reasonable prices (with coupon). Have accessories there if need to be replaced (tail lights, filters, etc.) Never had a problem with valvoline products, unlike penzoil (Ive seen rust in their oil filters). I like how they can email or print you a receipt.

Stopped in at another location on 03/08/21 and had my oil change. The next morning I get a text that there’s a lot of oil in my driveway. I call the store tell them I’m near the Cave Creek/North Phoenix location. They tell me I can go there. I told the staff what happened and they drained my oil fully, replaced the plug and gasket and got me back on the road in 10 minutes with no additional charge or hassle. Very good and professional service!

***BEWARE*** The wait times on the VIOC APP are very deceptive. If you see a car in the bay and one car ahead of you outside the bay, you’re waiting 30 mins minimum even if the estimated wait time says 11 mins. The staff are friendly and professional but the wait times really suck from 11am-2pm. Constant line of cars no matter what day it is. Wish they had an express lane specifically for oil changes only and no additional services to move things along quicker.

A big shut out to Area and Jared. They respond to my issue right away. They treat customers like their own business! They are not like other salesman always give excuses. Love their attitude and passion! Thank you again!

Ive been going to Valvoline for oil changes since I learned to drive. I took my headlights there to be replaced since its a normal thing Ive done... the young gentleman man assisting me took a couple minutes and said he couldnt do it due to him needing to lift the car and remove the tires .... I went home and got on YouTube and completed it myself in 8 minutes ... after paying for a 120 buck oil change ... he couldnt do that ? After he insited he would ? Loyal and honesty is always a best customer service policy,

I travel out of my way to have my car serviced here. It is so appreciated that I can remain in the car during the oil change & fluid check.They also test lights front and back.No hard sell. Friendly manager & staff.

Service was very friendly but I would not recommend to any VW for any service other than a traditional oil change. They asked me if I wanted additional services and then couldn’t help me change my daytime running light or do a fuel cleaning treatment. I drive a 2014 VW Passat.Also make sure you are tracking your own miles the sticker they provided me both times I went was only for 4,000 miles which I thought was strange! But again I think for a standard American vehicle they probably do a really great job.

I’m impressed! I’ve been to Valvoline’s all across the country and they’ve all had great service, but this location exceeded my expectations. I was told I might need a radiator flush, and the manager mike took the time to inspect my engine to find only the reservoir needed cleaned. Instead of charging me for service I didn’t need, he took the time to clean it for me free of charge. I am so thankful! As a woman I always appreciate finding an honest well run car shop. I will definitely be back. :)

They were quick and fast and very friendly i had a guy named Adam help me out this morning he was super friendly and professional he had good energy and even held a fun conversation with me while putting all my information in the system. You guys have a great team !

Amazing helpful staff! Only waited a few minutes- the owner actually helped me. I was really impressed and grateful at his honesty that I didnt NEED an oil change that day! How awesome is that??? He explained what my cars warning sign meant and told me what to watch for to come back. The staff topped off fluids and my tires and I was on my way 🙃 Absolutely do I recommend this shop!!

Dont bring a BMW or any european here. they’ll find some kind of lie to try to get themselves out of doing the oil change job for your car by saying something like “oh we don’t have the oil for this car, sorry” even though i’d had gone to that shop for my beamer many times already.But if you do manage to get a job done, you’ll just get a major oil leak.Took the car back there 3 times to fix the oil drain plug leak.Lost all future business now.

I think this place is a very good oil change station Ive been going there for close to 20 years. Its also very close to my house, they seem to be a little more expensive than maybe Walmart but its a much more quality place in the oils better.

We had a 55 minute wait to begin our service. We could not get out of line. We had a 2pm Dr appointment. We asked if they could get the oil change completed in time for us to get to our appointment. They said 20 minutes because the truck in front of us was getting additional services. They gave us a $10 discount. Instead of checking inventory for our airfilter in advance they took it out showed us how dirty it was and said unfortunately they were completely out of stock. Then they put it back in.So 55 minute wait. App showed 19 minutes average. 20 minute oil change and no airfilter. Not a great day at your company for us.

Top notch service!!! From the moment I pulled up to the moment I left they had top notch service! It was quick easy and they explained everything to me. Alfred the service center manager came over and introduced himself. Everyone was courteous and got the work done efficiently.

This place is incredible. If I could give it more stars I would! Everytime I go here I am included in every step of the way. They always check my lights, my signals and my brakes with each service. As a female, I appreciate their effort to include every customer because I make a serious effort to know my own car. I have seen both men and women working and am happy to feel included and represented. They ask if I would like additional services as needed like replacement of my air filter or tire rotation. I can always find a coupon on their website for many different services. The most I have ever waited is 45 minutes and I never have to leave my vehicle. They have many safety precautions of course. The price is higher than I would pay going to another location like my dealer or whatever other tire shop; but for me it is worth it for the service, timeliness, and quality. The managers there are stellar and the folks working with them all have a wonderful rapport. I will continue to go here!

Great experience. Quick turnaround and didnt have to get out of the car! China-virus safe, attendant and team wore masks, touchless payment and kept my window up halfway while conversing. A bit higher but with my coupon and all the other checklist items worth the value.

Holy smokes... This is a SALES FIRM not an oil change shop. My wife just got back from having her oil changed in her truck (f150 5.0l 7.7 qts of oil) and told me she paid $120.00..... WITH A COUPON .The full synthetic oil used by them cost 22 bucks retail for 5 qts, $5 for the filter (even less for them as a whole sale shop).Cant speak to the quality of the work thats not my issue, their service was fine.Terrible value is the issue...Oil is marked up 300% and then they tack on a labor charge of $15.00....If you like getting screwed this is a good place to go, otherwise look elsewhere or do it yourself. Oil changes are typically a loss leader for these shops. If this is what they charge I cant image what they would want to do repair work.

I would never use them ever again in life they made my engine seize up and then they tell me that they cant help me because the oil filter was good when theyre the one did that they did the whole oil change and my engine seized afterwards worst service ever worse customer service just worst company ever

I actually look forward to getting oil changes here. First because I am not actually the one on the ground doing it but most importantly because the guys and ladies who work here are so professional, kind, hard working and quick! I love that I can stop in without an appointment and get an oil change in 20-30 minutes. And the coupons are great too. They even offer soda or water while I wait. This place is the best and I will continue coming here for my oil change needs!

The young lady had long black hair and she was nice and very good at her job she got me good price on the oil change thank you, the other young man ask me if I wanted some water while I waited. Great customer service and speedy service every time. They are up front with you and are truly concerned about your safety so they won’t try and push a new transmission on you every oil change lol. Today, I was in and out in less than 20min and even got my brake light replaced (already had the bulb with me) Hunter, Nick and the other crew were super quick and professional! I was misled on the wait time, and was skipped right after I had made the attendant aware that I was up next and did not want to be slipped.They helped me after they realize I was upset for being skipped.This happened after setting in my car way longer than the 15 minute wait time that I was told.My advice, is to get some type of system in place so they can be more efficient in the wait time and order of the customer.After all, we are in the information digital era!They do have coupons if you call them!

DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION!!! I WENT IN FOR A 15 MINUTE TIRE ROTATION AND OIL CHANGE AND THE TECHNICIAN DAMAGED THE WHEEL MOUNT. This resulted in my car being inoperable for 28 HOURS!! REFUSED TO GET US A RENTAL CAR AND BIG O TIRES HAD TO REPAIR OUR VEHICLE. $500 REPAIR!!!! The worst part is AUSTIN, the Area Manager, refused to cooperate with a rental car and refused to speak to me about the issue. He went home at 4pm on a Wednesday after my car sat for 26 hours!! HE SHOULD BE FIRED! DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION! Brandon, Assistant Manager, is very kind and I am sorry he was forced into dealing with all of this. He needs a promotion! AUSTIN should be FIRED. His Market Manager who is based in Portland, Oregon stuck by Austin. This confirms Valvoline is a Good ol Boy kind of company and they do NOT regard their customers or their time at all.

No wait, pulled in upon arriving and used the drive thru service, which was my first time. Was immediately greeted by the manager, Anthony, who was very professional, friendly, and provided great customer service. He explained in detail the process and assisted with any questions I had. I use to be a District manager for a large retail company and he exhibited all of the qualities you would want in a manager. This has by far been my best car service experience, definitely will be coming back and recommending.

They didn’t replace my screws for the mud guard after oil change and didn’t top off any fluids. I requested synthetic blend don’t think I got it didn’t look like it had any synthetic in it whatsoever.

Excellent service by fast, friendly techs. Over the last 18 years they have changed the oil on my Chevy truck, Nissan car and Suv, both my Acuras and my Mercedes. Highly recommended with a convenient location right off the 101 freeway.
