We have depended upon Greulichs on Greenway for years for service for our cars, after not being satisfied with some other shops in the valley. The estimates are fair and the workmanship is wonderful. The staff are knowledgeable and give clear explanations of what they find when diagnosing a car repair item. They are wizards at locating the needed parts when I come in with a car problem. My car seems years younger after the most recent repairs, and my smile is back when I drive the desert roads. I particularly like the way the staff will help me prioritize issues when they are found, and keep records on those recommended repairs until my finances allow me to take care of them. I confidently referred my son to them when his car needed repair.

Have used this location many times. Always honest and they get my 4Runner maintenance done correctly and on time.

I had gone to Greulicks to set up an appointment to have the rotors groumd and only on the front axle. The price was $129+tax and it would be 45 minutes. I showed up at 720am for a 730am appointment. The truck was moved in around 8am. When I was called out, all of the tires were removed from the vehicle. I told them they were not authorized to touch the back tires and they were to put the tires back on. Later after not working on the truck I was informed it would be $530+ to fix. I was mad and would only pay for the rotors to now only be changed out- they were too damaged to be ground? Then the truck sat and they started working in the truck at 9am. Greulicks did work with me to resolve the issues which did show professionalism.

Jordan was absolutely amazing, my wife had her oil changed a few weeks ago and when we woke up today our garage floor had oil all over it. Brought in to Greulichs. Jordan had a fellow coworker check the vehicle out, when we had her oil changed (at another company) they didnt tighten the hoses. They fixed the issue and topped the oil off as a courtesy. I’ll be back here for all my cars needs from this day forward. Kudos to Jordan for the top notch customer service

Fuel Pump went out on my 2005 Ford Ranger. Towed it in late Thursday and picked it up Saturday. Not a bad turn around considering how hard it is to get to the fuel pump and schedule labor. Repair was not cheap but understandable considering the labor time and an expensive fuel pump. After I freaked out over the cost, they were nice enough to throw in a complimentary oil change and since I was in a jam, picked me up after the job was done. Been there before and find them reasonably priced and objective on advice. Customer service has always been good. They dont go fishing for stuff you dont need.

The price was good and they did a good job. But the appointment was for 12pm and they didnt start until 12:45pm. So it was a 1 hour and 20 minute oil change.

Awesome experience, I will be using this shop exclusively from here on out. Alonzo went out of his way to communicate with me at every step of the diagnosis/repair process and let me know what steps they were taking to fix my vehicle in a timely fashion. They did my oil change and gave me a free inspection. I unfortunately do have a lot wrong with my car but Brendan showed me on my car each thing that needed fixing so I could see for myself. He also reassured that while these repairs are necessary, they’re not urgent. So I can take my time getting them done and not have to worry. Best experience I’ve ever had!! I really feel like I can afford these repairs within the time frame estimate I was given on how long my car could last without the repairs. I normally use VW locations, various locations in the valley, but have been disappointed by less than great service. Googled and called Greulichs and they were phenomenal. I dont over use that word, but hospitable, warm environment (waiting room) pics of suggested repairs. Etc. Customer service was above and beyond for my needs. Will definitely refer and go back.

Costed a lot more than I expected, but vehicle repairs always do! Besides that I used these guys one time before and they were so great I came back again and got the same exact service. I have friends who have been using Greulichs for years. So they came highly recommended and they did not disappoint. They were up front and honest. Kept me updated throughout the process. I love their use of technology for updates and payments. I could see who was working on my car and supervised. Its different any other shop because of how transparent the process was. I never felt like they were upselling me or any pressure to do any extra work that I didnt ask for. I will recommend them to everyone. Its so hard to find a good, reliable, trustworthy mechanic. 10 out of 5 stars.

Im giving Greulichs Automotive Repair one star only because I couldnt share my experience otherwise. All they had to do was change my oil and that they did as far as Iknow however they also broke my engine cover they took things apart that had nothing to do with the oil. In doing so they lost the factory parts and fasteners that came with my vehicle and replaces them with bailing wire and drywall screws. I went back after seeing what theyd done and asked politely if they could take a look around to find my missing components unfortunately that wasnt happening. So take this bit of knowledge along with and be warned if you should choose Greulichs Auto Repair Experts to work on your car. Thank you for sharing my experience

We’ve been at Gruelichs for 10 years. They always have good prices and are helpful advising on what your car really needs. They don’t push optional repairs. They’ll let you know, and then are direct with you about whether it’s important. I don’t feel scammed here they way I would at a car dealership. Sure there’s no donuts or crazy coffee in the lounge but instead you’ll save money. I’ll take a bill that’s 100 less and bringing my own coffee to the lounge any day.

Jordan helped me out with a radiator replacement. Got it installed quickly but had hose installation problems that continued my coolant leak. Ultimately got everything installed and replaced properly but not the most convenient to have to get back to the shop after an already costly repair.

We’ve taken our vehicles to this Gruelichs for over 15 years. Throughout growth and changes they have remained exceptional and consistent in keeping our vehicles in excellent condition in all manner of maintenance and repairs. Honestly, this was a much more professional, but, down-to-earth (terms and examples I could understand) experience..My late husband took care of all our vehicles and their maintenance. So where does a woman go where shes not blind-sided w expensive repairs! These gentlemen were very kind about what needed to be done (on newly purchased older suv). My first visit we talked about what was recommended by several other mechanics and after diagnosing the obvious they did a more in depth testing on the not seen problems..( sensors and air flow. Fuel intake..blag blah!) I was called and told my options and what to proceed on. I am so glad to have found a reasonable place where you can be sure your vehicle and you..are safe to drive. These guys have a tough job in being the messenger in bad news when it comes to repairs and cost but they remain calm and courteous and ever so patient to ensure the customer understands why the repairs are necessary. And they will find a way to help the customer where they can. You couldnt find another place that would be so willing to help that you arent doing the work yourself.

Went in there for spark plug repair. they tried to charge me $3800?? took it to another place and they charged me $400. DO NOT go here. waste of time and money. AVOID

Got me in last minute and even was able to wait an hour as I was running behind to my appointment. Very courteous, held doors for me as I was with a stroller and completed the work in very good time. Will continue to use this company as I have for many years at a different location.

Got my catalytic converter stolen out of my car overnight while parked at my home, I was devastated. Thankfully Greulichs was there. Jeff R. was able to identify the issue right away, got it all taken care of in half the time of what they quoted and did a fantastic job fixing everything and being so generous throughout the process. I know nothing about cars and Jeff, Jordan, and Keenan made me feel completely taken care of throughout the whole experience. This shop goes above and beyond. Jordan is awesome. He was able to get my car into the shop and repaired all in the same day. He even gave me a ride so I could wait in the comfort of my own home while my car was being worked on. For someone who doesn’t know much about cars, he broke everything down as simple as possible and even walked me out to speak to one of the repairmen so he could show me what he was doing. 10/10 customer service and repair work.

I appreciate the integrity, of the staff and mechanics at Greulichs automotive on 32nd st. & Greenway, in Phoenix!The auto shop I had used for 13 years, started over charging me substantial amounts, after my husband passed away (he took my car in). I had no trust in auto/tire shops and, didnt know where to turn. My Chrysler Aspen (its a beast) needed motor and, transmission mounts, I ordered the parts from the manufacturer. I happen to stumbled upon Greulichs,so g lm and I did; they not only put the parts on that I had, they very honestly, let me know of a few issues that need to be taken care of, the gentlemen were kind too and, I could tell they pride themselves on running their business with Dignity, Honor and, yes Integrity. It feels outstanding knowing I have a great shop that will take care of my vehicle for a fair price, thank you fellas I really appreciate each one of you!

We moved to a different part of the Valley and needed to find a mechanic that we could trust and go to for any issues with our cars. I used a different Greulich’s years ago and thought I would give them a try after relocating again. I needed an oil change and had an oil leak.Jordan scheduled me and kept me updated on the status throughout the day. I was given the least expensive option to start with to repair the leak, then told to give it some time to see if there is an additional leak that they could not confirm until cleaning the exterior of the oil pan and seeing if the oil started to leak again after replacing the gasket.He took his time to explain the issue, told me about other non-urgent items to keep on my radar but didn’t push anything. I will return to this location for future business. I appreciate the honesty and really love finding a shop that I trust is not taking advantage of me.

I have a 2012 VW Tiguan, and recently I found out my car was leaking coolant. The mechanic from the dealership advised the leaking is from water pump and need to replace it. I was looking for an auto repair shop do the job because dealership’s rate is way too high and they didn’t tell me this problem at the time I did the annual car service. I found Greulich’s Automotive is the best-reviewed repair shop near where I live and visited them. They looked at my car and provided me with different quotes based on the quality of the parts. They are very patient, answered all my questions and provided very good service. While I was waiting there on my 1st visit, I saw how they handled customer calls while they are busy with sth else. Thumbs up for the fantastic customer service and the professional work done! The car isn’t leaking anymore and drives well!

Greulich’s does a great job diagnosing the problem and charges a fair price for repairs. They kept me informed throughout the process and completed the repairs quickly.The only reason I didn’t give them 5 stars was because no one who worked there was wearing a mask to protect their customers, in the middle of a pandemic, and there were no social distancing guidelines for customers or other measures to keep people safe. My husband is going through chemo and radiation and has a fivefold chance of dying if I, or someone else, gives him Covid. I would hope the business rethinks it’s practice in consideration of its customers.

This was our first time using this auto shop since we were in the need of a emergency mechanical repair. My brakes had given out on me and my power steering started leaking and would not turn. We took it in as a walk in appointment, they checked it out and quoted us a reasonable price and even applied their coupons without asking. They had it out the same day. Yes my car was in the shop all day but it was a lot of work and I am impressed at how fast they worked. We will return!

Jordan was awesome. I recently was a victim of a hate crime so my jaw is broken and just not very comfortable. He called me often to keep me informed and I thought waking in on a Saturday morning saying hey can you try and take a look my car no rush. Then boys had it done in 2 hours. I have worked for Marriott for 19 yrs and I am a certified trainer in our customer service expectations and Jordan and I think one of the managers Jordan said. They both absolutely nailed it. I was very impressed.
