I have worked with Emerald for the last 10 years and my experience has been great. Excellent customer service and everyone there has been great to work with.
Emerald failed to bill my insurance Company. I have carried medical insurance for over 40yrs through my same employer. The hospital and Drs. Correctly billed my insurance but the Anethesiologist failed to do so, although my insurance information was given at patient registration. Emerald said they showed no insurance. I have called Emerald several times. The last time I called, i was told it is probably too late to try to bill my insurance, but they would check and get back to me, which they did not. This item shows on my credit as an unpaid debt, and Im told the only way to have it removed is to pay the full amount. I refuse to do this since I pay for insurance and was covered.
