Great gym! Clean, working equipment, professional staff. Highly recommended! This gym is huge! Giant calendar of events and activities! We are really impressed!!!

I love this gym! It’s big with a lot of quality equipment and amenities. It’s clean, maintained and they have very pleasant, friendly, helpful staff. I only have two issues with it - no toilet seat covers in the ladies restrooms and they definitely could keep the gym cooler. I’ve had a few people I see there or have worked out with who have said the same thing. A friend of mine in fact who is also a member at another large gym chooses to do some of his more strenuous workouts at the other gym because VASA is too warm. They do need to work on getting it cooler in there, especially during these hot summer months. I have had to shorten some of my workouts due to the heat/lack of sufficient cooling. Otherwise, a great gym. 👍🏼🏋🏻‍♀️

I joined a week ago and have enjoyed the cinema workout room, the cycling class was amazing and the massage chairs help end a workout releasing the tension.

Great gym! I love the variety of amenities that VASA offers for the low price. They have lots of workout machines, lots of fitness class options, a basketball/pickleball court, a lap pool and spa, and more. My go-to workout is swimming laps. The pool only has 3 lanes, but the pool is not normally busy, which is nice for us lap swimmers. The spa is next to the pool so I like to jump in right after my workout. The locker room is beautiful. I highly recommend at least getting the free one-day guest pass and trying it out!

Fantastic facility. Plenty of New high quality equipment. Super friendly employer. Lots of Great people with great attitudes. Wide Variety of classes to choose from. Amazing self care options as well. Pool, hit tub wet and dry sauna. Hydro massage chairs and tanning as well. Clean club altogether Including the rest rooms & locker rooms. Everyone does their part to keep equipment sanitized. I highly recommend Vasa fitness 43rd/Thunderbird. Love this place! Even my kids enjoy it.

Ive been a member for a little over a year. The facility is always clean and sanitary. The employees always have a great personality each day and greet you each and every time entering and leaving the Gym. I personally trained with Jessica Gonzales she is an awesome trainer who knows how to help and keep me on target for all of my goals.

Its really a good place for me to train. They have helpful staff And lots of space with equipment. Its a good place to get a great workout.

Staff and coaches are friendly and encouraging, and I am amazed at what’s available for the monthly price! Most places charge SO MUCH for even just a few classes a month, and that’s even without all that’s available at VASA. There’s lots to choose from, from group classes to studio HIIT, quality equipment, indoor pool, spa, sauna, and hydro massage (!). Total bang for your buck!

I am impressed on how clean VASA is. The Personal Trainers are very professional and extremely friendly.I just started going so I have not taken many classes yet. I do see that most of their classes are offered during the morning hours, which doesnt help me, and very few classes on Friday and the weekend. I am hoping that will change soon.

I really like the location on 43rd avenue and thunderbird that location is nice, clean and the staff is professional. I had high hopes for the location on 35th Avenue and northern but sadly that fell short because children were running around and playing with equipment and they looked maybe around 10-12 years old and did not see an adult around or watching them at all.

It was nice, access to all equipment and the audience working out there were polite and fair about shared equipment use. Definitely worth a visit and a membership!!

Plenty of equipment and variety. Patrons clean the equipment after their use and the facility is very well maintained. I enjoy the emails and offers about VASA that let you know what they’re able to provide in assisting you to get the maximum out of your personal goals.

Nice Gym the staff is friendly

I was disrespected by the receptionist. I cancelled my membership. I left a paper for management about the attitude of one of the receptionists, I entered and she never says hi or welcome. I was standing infront of her face, she never looked at me and kept working on her computer like I was not there. I asked her politely hey I am there, and to scan my barcode it takes a second, she looked at me with an attitude and said she doesnt have the time and working on her computer!! II told her I will report her attitude to her manager, I did however i never heard back from the management why she was treating me that way. Management: train your employees how to speak and treat people in that position, or else you will lose customers the way you lost me.

I love everything about this gym!!! It’s huge and never over-crowded, it has the best equipment and amenities, the gym is always clean, and the staff members are always friendly. My personal trainer, Claudia, is the best! She has help me take my workout to a new level. I’m feeling and seeing results of my weekly workouts with her.

I really like VASA. With previous gyms I was disappointed with the equipment they had. I came from being a thrower for track and field and I was used to free weights and working on Olympic lifts. Most of the cheaper gyms I was not able to work on these areas. VASA has the equipment and space to work on my fitness goals. I have the most basic membership and its way more than what I need. Great deal, great people, great equipment.

Very bad receptionist. Not weloming at all. As if she hates us when we enter. I hate going there beause of her. I dont know her name, she has long hair white skin, always angry face never smiling at all. Please get rid of her. If I see her again I am canceling my membership.

Where do I begin? The place is awesome, live the tanning booths, the massage chairs, the staff are very friendly and inviting. I never had a gym membership but this one offers way more for the same price as others with less amenities so for that alone gets my vote.

Ive been a vasa member for 2 years now. This is the best gym in Phoenix/Scottsdale. Its the largest gym Ive been to and has too many amenities. Pool/basketball court/spa/bike room/dance room/ .... And literally way too much to list lol. It only starts at $10 per month, so definitely worth it. Everyone who works there is friendly and knows what theyre talking about. Youll love it here, trust me!

This gym closes at 10PM on week nights and even earlier on the weekends while EOS down the road is open 24/7.This gym charges $9.99 for a basic membership which does not include access to the pool, jacuzzi, steam room & sauna.However, if you pay $21.99 for the next membership you get access to all of the above plus massage chairs but guess what?All of it is based on the honor system. Nobody is checking and or enforcing basic membership members ($9.99) from sneaking into the pool amenities and using the sauna and steam room that YOU as a member that pays $21.99. The massage chairs are only regulated because there is only like six of them and they have to be activated by the front desk.Save your $$$ and only buy the $9.99 membership and then sneak into the pool area for free like everyone else!

Everyone is super friendly at Vasa onThunderbird /43rd ave. The gym is clean, has lots of quality equipment, a variety of fun group fitness classes and an impressive functional training area as well as super competent trainers/instructors.The hot tub, pool, steam room and sauna are open for use which is a great way to end my workout. I love the hydro massage chairs. and tanning beds. They are just the cherry on top! I can tell the company understands the value of self care. I already have a membership at La Fitness but this club is so impressive I bought a membership here as well and am finding that despite its longer distance to travel, I am traing here more often.Cant say enough good things about this place. DO yourself a favor and join today!

Blown away by the quality and size. They’ve got what you need. Sauna and steam rooms open (only 2 at a time), hydro massage chairs open, basketball court not open for basketball as it’s reserved for folks with breathing issues to have a dedicated space. Tried out two locations both are the same level. 5 stars.

On Sundays customer service up front (a girl ) has the worst attitude, every time my wife and I come in we feel un-welcomed by her and she always seems like she is forced to be there, and unlike everyone else there, she never says hi ot goodbye.Everything is good you guys just need to work on your up-front customer service

I have been shopping for a new gym for a while and when I walked into VASA. I was very impressed with their friendly staff. The staff explained the three different levels for a membership, there was no pressure to sales gimmicks! I joined the club the next day and I have been enjoying the cinema room while doing my cardio on the treadmill every other day. I am very happy with my choice.

Great people on staff, quality workout machines, I give them a 5 Star rating and nice upscale environment to workout in. Love the lap pool!

Im beyond impressed by the professionalism, knowledge and dedication of VASA Fitness . I have worked with trainers in the past but none have showed me the attention and care that these guys have. They truly show concern for your well-being while also helping you work toward your goals. Highly, highly recommend if you want trainers that are willing to educate you and treats you as a person not a number.

Another rip-off membership gym.They provide you with cancellation setting right from the app to figure out sometime later that you’ll still be charged. We can’t close the account in the gym but by calling them on the number they’ve provided only to get charged another month, because it’s 30 days cancellation notice. Also, cheap company, by not installing a security camera facing the parking lot, even after, only I know of, at least 3 breaking in the members vehicles. 👎

It’s a very nice gym. They have cleaning stations almost at every station. Very neatly organized and the workers are friendly. What more can you ask for?

I have had many gym memberships but this Gym in my opinion tops them all. It has all the amenities one would want. Basketball Courts, Sauna, Steam Room, Huge Pool, Hot Tub, Aerobics, Spin Room for Spin Classes, Massage Chairs, Tanning Beds & a HUGE variety of weights and Cardio Machines. They recently took away the Mask mandate so you are no longer required to wear one which I am excited about. The staff is friendly and they offer personal training. If your looking for a New Gym I HIGHLY recommend this one. I dont think Ill ever give up my membership to this Gym I love it that much.

I am pretty sure they never clean anything its getting pretty bad also basketball hoop has been down for the whole month. Kids are always in the gym without any supervision. They need a stystem for the basketball courts because there a lot of bullie type people with no common courtesy, a lot of gyms do a sign up sheet so its far for everyone paying for it. Maybe a max amount of people in the basketball court as well people just sit in there with all their stuff for long periods of time.

My first day at gym was great wlll keep coming everyone is pleasant and i dont feel like an outsider some gyms can make you feel uncomfortable and alittle out of place when your not use to attending them but i felt comfortable and more so after class which was great and the instructor is awesome i definitely recommend this gym

As with all other bad reviews here, this is specific to my experience which matches other complaints.Person Training program is garbage, lack of preparation and real training program, and not all the time used allotted, trainer distracted with other customers (yes him yapping with girls). Completely unable to get them to stop billing, called many times over and over now we have to go in to try to get this resolved.I would be very carful what you read in any positive reviews of this facility.please do not comment like the rest, ohh we would like to reach out to you to resolve the issues. We have already tried many many times, still trying...Also hours suck too, agree with other comments.

I have had a membership for a few months and froze until I was comfortable to begin going. I returned a month ago and was a fan of the cleanliness, social distancing and mask policy at that time. I was so comfy that I decided to get personal training going. I met with Keaton and really appreciated the non-salesy and realistic approach. I ended up committing to a 6 month deal twice a week. The set up was easy as Keaton was very nice and explained what to expect. One thing he mentioned was that you have the option of trying other trainers out. I was able to exercise this option without much of a problem. I was first set up with Blake and while he was great, I found myself feeling unreasonably self conscious. Not Blake’s fault at all, really me just realizing how out of shape I’d become. I ended up asking for a female trainer thinking they might relate and understand my new struggle. Enter Jessie. She has been absolutely incredible with me! She’s understanding, motivating and friendly. Cannot say enough good things about Jessie and my experience with all involved including the front desk staff Bri & Alex.

I reactivate my membership at vasa. The agreement was three things, no payment for 30 days, no activation fee, and $10 credit. Unfortunately even the manager has no idea how to get me the $10 credit so they kind of lied to me kind of like false advertising so nobody really wants to give me the $10 credit towards a drink or towards tanning or a product or a T-shirt

This gym is perfect! It is $10/month for use of weights and cardio (they have all machines you would ever need) and $20/month for additional use of massage chairs, tanning, sauna, pool, hot tub and more! I personally love to end almost every workout with a massage on the chair. They keep the gym pretty clean. I’ve been coming here for 2+ years since they opened this location and plan to continue indefinitely.

This gym is the best gym Ive ever gone to! They have so many amenities like the pool, the sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, hydromassage chairs, tanning beds, movie room, and basketball court. The staff is ALWAYS friendly as can be and most of the gym goers are pretty nice and are there to focus on their own workout so I never really feel judged unlike other gyms Ive been to. The only thing is the pool can get a little cold sometimes but otherwise I have no complaints.

I entered this gym to check how it is, and the people on reception were really rude and unwelcoming. Felt like they dont wanted me to be a member. There was a guy and a girl and both were unprofessional. I will never join, especially after reading some of the reviews here.

I went in and used the trial pass they offer online and I was shocked how easy it was. The staff was super helpful and nice. The gym was one of the nicest and cleanest gyms I’ve seen.

Really enjoyed the Red zone class and Yoga.

I signed up online on June 30th and the computer did not verify that the process was complete. I therefore called to verify. The young man to whom I talked had a hard time finding my account. I had to slowly spell my name to finally get verification. However, I used my sons credit card (I am an authorized user) and THAT was the address, email address and phone number that was on the account. I thought I had gotten it corrected but when I actually verified it online a little later, he had my address but my sons city and phone number. I got that corrected finally. Then, when I went in the next day (July 1st) I asked if I needed a towel and was told that yes I needed one but would need to bring my own. I went out to the car to get a towel which I keep in my trunk to clean another sons headstone. I cut that one to make it smaller. When I got inside I found others did not have towels. I asked to have help to understand the equipment and was told they could not help me. I walked on the treadmill for a few minutes as that was all I understood. I finally decided to talk to someone in charge and was given a phone number. Calling that number I was told they were closed and to send a message by email. I immediately did that and got a response that I would need to wait 72 hours for a response. It is July 7th and have not received that response (because of the 4th of July?)Anyway, I feel that VASA is too big and corporate to care for an individuals needs.

Love it here! Club is very clean. Equipment is top-notch. Love the hydro-massage and tanning/light therapy. And the staff are always very friendly helpful and there with an answer when you need them!

I love this gym!! I have been working out here for almost 2 years now and I can’t say enough good things about it. Always clean and great equipment! Marcos, Shannon, Irene and Blake always make it a fun experience and always motivate me to have the best workout every time I walk into the gym.

This is a really nice gym but very disappointing experience. I joined specifically for the cycling studio classes, which are really good. After 2 weeks of being a member, the gym stopped their social distancing protocols in the cycling room. It is a very unsafe environment and I am high risk. After only a couple weeks as a member i had to pay almost $80 to cancel. Airlines aren’t even charging cancellation fees, and VASA’s cancellation is pretty terrible. I feel ripped off. Again, is a very nice gym but be careful. I don’t think they really care about their members.

I got in during the special that waived the $100 enrollment fee on the basic membership, so I can just use the basic stuff like machines and free weights, but with how much stuff they have here that is more than enough.

Claudia reached out to me via phone shortly after I joined the gym and extended the complimentary personal training session to me. Her approach and professionalism were spot on. I have been working in the industry for 27 years, so even though I was not going to take her up on the session, I wanted to make sure that she knew her efforts didnt go unnoticed. It only takes one, and one at a time is all you need!

We left another gym to join Vasa. It is very clean, spacious and not crowded all of the time. They were professional when we joined and answered all our questions. We love our trainer, Josh.

I never had a gym membership before this, but this place is pretty awesome! Very clean, the girl at the counter helped me with the app to get things ready and find my barcode too!! Very friendly staff, the place is huge so you feel like no one is encroaching in your personal bubble (not saying that because of covid) Just like a good amount of space to myself and this place has it. So many machines too!!!!💯For my first gym, it left a very good first impression!! I was just gonna go here for a couple months then workout at home but after just two experiences in this facility Im hooked!! The massage chairs are a dream for my back and sore muscles and the tanning capsule was cool!! I love this place, just scared others will too and it will get crowded eventually......

Not impressed with their Personal Training program.I am out $160 because they bill in advanced, I was charged for sessions I was unable to use because the gym closing for Covid. Once the gym opened again. Billing resumed... so I was always paid ahead for sessions.I needed to have a surgery, which I understand is not a reason allowed to cancel, fine. I called and they said theyd PAUSE my sessions and membership and I could resume after 3 months when I am cleared.I reached out at that time to finalize my PT, I had 4 unused sessions because of the billing cycle. First call was never returned, 2nd call I got a text from someone who tried to schedule me, then ghosted me for 3 weeks. When he reached back out, he said my sessions were expired and he could TRY to get them going again but requires corporate approval. I canceled... I still want my $160 back, the ball was dropped on their end more than a couple times.There are more things between that have happened but this is the summary story. Id stay away from their Personal Training- seems very not put together.

I am happy when deciding to switch from mountainside to vasa fitness. Transparent pricing and easy signing up process entirely online which other gyms have not conducted. I signed up with new opening gym in Northern with the best price they offer( many amenities still in construction) which makes me suprised for all amenities of a high end gym they provided in here and other locations. You never go wrong with this gym and get more bang for your bucks for working out everyday. Very clean, not too crowded, spacious in every locations, lots of equipments and other amenities mountainside does not have like pool, jacuzzi, massage chairs, fitness cinema, ...friendly staff also

Mask are optional, there are disinfect wipes to wipe machines. I been going early morning, certainly plenty of space and machines to accommodate . Fresh clean environment, personnel seem customer oriented.

They keep their pool, hot tub, sauna and steam room unusually clean and seem to maintain the pool chemicals daily unlike other gyms with similar facilities.

I moved away over 6 months ago and canceled my membership. I found out I was still being billed for it. Contacted them again and was told they are able to see where I canceled and it would be taken care of and would be getting a refund. Then I receive rude emails saying they will not refund anything and will only cancel from then. No help. Only being rude and condescending. Horrible service. Would give zero stars is possible.

I really enjoy the free weights section of this gym. The platforms and variety of machines are also a plus. The staff at this gym is very nice as well. Katlyn, one of the employees there is very nice and well spoken. She is very welcoming every time I come to the gym and always speaks as I am leaving. She really leaves a great and lasting impression on those who she comes into contact with and I think she does a great job representing VASA and the staff there!

This an awesome location!! Jazz and Katlyn are fantastic! You step one foot in the door and they welcome you with so much enthusiasm and energy, its great!! They are very helpful and polite, definitely should be getting a promotion for the hard work and customer service they do!

Asked for a tanning bed they told me 10 minutes then while i was sitting there a worker walked up and asked if she could tan and they not knowing i was standing right there said yeah to her and she went back. So then i wales up again again and they told me o yeah avout 10 more minutes. So 10 minutes turned to 30 👌👌👌

The gym is good. But months ago I canceled my membership online through their website and this month I received a $300 bill from collections !? I called the gym to figure out what’s going on and they can’t even pull up my file ! Don’t be like me, take a screenshot if you decide to do anything online with them. I have to call corporate hoping it will get it all situated. I shouldn’t have to pay $300 for something that isn’t my fault. Fix your website !

The best gym I’ve ever been to when it comes to quality of employees.

IF youre planning on joining this gym you have to double check the employees enter the correct billing information. Even after reading the billing information back to them, you have to make sure they enter the numbers correctly. I did this at least 2 times on different occasions. The employee told me the information had been updated and corrected. Come to find out 6 months later i have an outstanding balance of almost $200 and they cant do anything about it to fix it. Even though the above happened multiple times. Very sad.

Only gone a few times so far but really happy with it! The employees are very friendly, they seem to have a range of classes, and they’ve got so many amenities — especially foe the price! Speaking of amenities, I tried the hydromassage chairs thinking “Oh haha it’ll be novel but silly and something I’ll never do again.” But they are honestly really nice for tight muscles and I use them every time now. There’s a reason the sessions are times — some of us would overstay our welcome!I wish more people were wearing masks, and I’m a skosh worried what it’ll be like when I go back to weight machines since it’s harder to distance in that area. But as more people get vaccinated, hopefully the risk will be lower. (I’m vaccinated but still somewhat concerned about variants or being a carrier around an unvaccinated person.)Anyway so far I like it more than Mountainside (admittedly it’s also such a shorter drive from my house!) and it’s cheaper. Hard to argue with that!

Ive always had a love/hate relationship with gyms but I never really stopped going just had some big breaks in between sessions. So my husband and I decided to give it a try to Vasa and see how we will like the environment. We love it. Its a brand new opened gym, with cool people working here, has everything you would need from obviously the workout machines, to classes of zumba cycling cardio,personal trainers, a pool, a spa and a small theater with some machines in it. Its awesome. Plus they have the hydrobeds to unwind to at the end. Want a tan? They have tanning booths. Its awesome.
