I just went to VIP Barber shop for the first time and had a great experience. It was a very clean environment and the owner there made me feel welcomed as soon as I came through the door. One of the best services I had. I was not sure what haircut to get, but was guided with examples and on some specifics I wanted. At the end I have got a good quality haircut I wanted, was good choice to rely on barbers recommendations! Another thing I liked was the speed: I hate sitting long time to get my haircut, but here it was done so fast and processionally. Definitely coming back again!

I get my beard shaped and head shaved and never been disappointed. He does great teen cuts too. I stumbled in last year and havent gone anywhere else since. Highly recommend.

Been coming to VIP and ONLY VIP for 7 years. The one and only time I went elsewhere was because they were crazy busy with teenagers for upcoming prom. I went to a Vs barbershop and they butchered my cut. Even if I ever move to someplace further away in the valley I will gladly make the drive and continue to come here only. Arthur and team take good care of everyone and know their craft.

By my third visit I was certain this was a top tier barber shop. The staff are entirely engaged and friendly from the moment you enter the door, throughout the haircut, and by the end I feel reluctant to leave - it feels like being at a friends.My master barber was John. I gave him a vague idea of what I wanted and he curated a look for me that I am beyond pleased with.I am sure Ill be coming back by default.Thanks to everyone at VIP.

I googled black owned businesses in the area because I try to support them when I can. Its not black owned but I dont discriminate and tried them out. Good cuts and friendly service is what you can expect here.

Have been coming here for 6 months. Arthur is the man. ALL of the barbers he brings on are great. Music is always banging. Good atmosphere for a simple no frills place. You are coming here for their skill. Looked for a men’s haircut in Arcadia / Biltmore area for a while and stayed here.They take their time and you will notice the dedication to their craft. Came in for a beard trim today and Arthur killed it.

People never greet you when you go in. Barbers are rude. Owner always on the phone or smoking outside.

Roni is the man. I followed him from his last shop because of his consistency. He takes his time and does a great job each time I go (every two weeks). I never have to tell him what I want done because he remembers and we also have good conversations. I’d recommend Roni to anybody, but especially if you’re looking for a high quality mid-drop fade 👌🏼

Generic haircuts and he did not take his time. Low quality cut. I had a lot of hair and the man chopped off the entire back left side and not the front or middle or right side so now I have the worst hair bump now. Too quick to cut this much hair and didn’t come out good. He offered to fix but I decided no more because he would probably make it worse.

Needed a last minute haircut found them on google and when I got my haircut they messed up my hairline never going back again

I usually don’t write reviews but I’ve been coming here for 2 years since I moved to Phoenix and couldn’t be more satisfied with the haircuts I get here.Jesus is my go-to barber and does some amazing work there, he focuses and cares about the cut, which always makes a customer feel good.They are usually pretty quick and easy to get a cut and they offer hot towels, beverages, and chill atmosphere. All around great guys.

JESUS SAVES!I was lucky enough to be blessed by Jesus himself on the morning of 12-11-19. Jesus is a new barber in town, and rumor has it he may be the son of god, as his abilities can alter your appearance like no man I’ve ever met. I came into the barber shop in bad shape this morning...wildly overgrown beard, neglected hair, and low self esteem. Jesus has no problem changing the appearance of this broken mortal. In no time at all, Jesus was able to give me a impeccable mid-fade, beard trim, and warming of the soul with his upbeat personality. Jesus is a young guy, with a great attitude. His passion shows in the quality of his work. If you have to wait for him, I would highly recommend doing so, so you too can be blessed by the hands of Jesus. This is the best hair cut I have ever received. I will be sure to ask for Jesus when I return.

These guys are awesome. Arthur does an amazing cut and fade. Is chill to talk to. And actually cares how his barbershop guests feel about their cut. This is my second time in. I call ahead and Arthur makes it happen! Btw Im a stylist at a salon in Scottsdale and I come here to get my hair done.

They close at 6 but they turned me away at 5:30. If that was the case they should’ve had the door locked to not nobody in. Got recommended but will not be going anymore.

The only thing that was halfway decent was the haircut. I didnt see any prices obviously posted, but the place down the street was $19 so I figured it wouldnt be more than 15 or so so I could leave my usual $5 tip.After the fastest haircut in my life, skipping many of the little extras, he walk me over the register and said $20 for the total.This is the only time I have never tipped for a haircut.Next time Im going to the $19 hipster looking place, or pretty much anywhere except here.The people are friendly enough but it just seemed like such a shady way to do business that I will never return to spend my money there ever again.Get your haircut here at your own risk, I say.

I usually dont like going to barbershops, but these guys killed it. Ive lived all across the states and been to dozens of barbershops. This is definitely one of the best. Super laid back and top notch haircuts. Will definitely make this my go-to shop while Im in Phoenix.

If i could give ten stars I would. These guys are awesome and they have old school grooming nailed perfectly. They groom accurately, they are friendly, gentle, and honestly - funny as hell. Its like visiting a barber shop out of a sitcom, they were awesome, and worth the effort.

Felt welcome from the moment I met Eric & colleagues yesterday, and Spartacus HOOKED MY HAIRCUT UP today! Surpassing even what I envisioned.😊 I love it & looking forward to returning knowing my cut will be exactly what I want, not what the Barber wants. Eric assured me they would take care of me, and Im pleased to say they really did. Price is right. Great music. Great hours. Great locale. You can read this review and many more reviews, but we all know that you cant know for sure until you go there and try it for yourself. Simple fact. Based on my experience, with many, many, many, many barbers, I couldnt find a place where I would feel comfortable for myself and for my kids. Always felt welcomed and appreciated, without any fakery that is polluting just about every service industry. Fake smile, fake greet...and guess what ?...fake and low quality service is what you get most of the time, and places like VIP barber you get just the opposite. Arthur, Chris and Boris just to name a few, always, and I mean always, provided with me with quality service, welcoming atmosphere and genuine care for myself and for my son. VIP barber is is high quality service and unbelievable low price.Quite honestly I even dont know why is it so....but it is.

I tried four other barbershops and salons in North Phoenix before settling on VIP. Spartacus and his team know their business, and give an excellent haircut every time! They do an old-school operation, so expect a touch-up shave, hot towels, optional eyebrow/nose/ear trimming, and the occasional shoulder rub. Make sure you call-in sameday to make an appointment, unless you dont mind shooting the breeze with the guys for a while!

One-of-a-kind barber shop. All of the barbers handle every type of hair, older white guys, younger black guys, fades, trims, tapers, line-ups, etc. Theyre handy with clippers, sheers, and straight razors - hot shave at VIP is one of the best Ive had in a while. The first time I went in I was frustrated because I had to wait a little while, but I appreciated it when I was in the chair and realized how they take their time with each customer to make sure they get a great cut.

Very, quick and easy. They were busy for Easter but Sammy got me in a chair and out the door with a nice haircut and time to spare in my day.

The name says it all! I been a customer since they open. I had moved cities a few times and had tried a few different barbershops that where closer to me but I had never been satisfied. I have learned my lesson and I can say there is no other place like home, amazing service and Arthur is simply the best! I live in Laveen and its always worth the drive!
