I always use their service. This shop provides a very nice hair cutting service at a very low price. The location is not too far from our place, it’s easy to find their location. I liked also the staff for shes really good at handling the haircut. When I looked at myself in the mirror, I was amazed for I looked so beautiful. Thanks a bunch!

I had Ben, he was amazing. He took my vague description accompanied with an old photo and gave me one of the best haircuts Ive ever had. You could feel how passionate he is about his job with the care and meticulousness he provided throughout the entire cut. The shop overall was clean and friendly. The only downside is the parking downtown, but will definitely visit them again

Located right in the heart of downtown Phoenix, this spot is the only place I’ll get my haircut; my boy Nathaniel does a superb job at getting my cut looking fresh.

The only haircuts I’ve ever actually liked on myself my whole life have always either just been done by myself or from friends while being in jail haha, but this place gave me my favorite haircut I’ve ever had and I’ve actually never even left a review for anything on Google before but I really liked this place and really liked my haircut and I recommend this spot 100%! The dudes that work there are super rad and easy to talk to and enjoy a conversation with, they play cool music, and they’re amazing at what they do because they know what they’re doing plus they actually cut and style hair the way their customers ask them to! I never thought I’d be the type of person to have a “go-to” barbershop or the type of person to review any specific small business, but this place is so sick and I’m stoked to go back in the future!

Nathaniel is hands-down the best barber Ive ever been to. Ive been going to The Local for a few months now and will continue as long as theyre around. These guys are all highly skilled at their craft and I walk way feeling great about my hair after each visit. Good conversation, cool shop vibe, great value. If you havent given The Local a shot, I highly recommend that you do!

Local has been open for quite a while just a stones throw from my workplace. I saw Nathaniel on the corner this morning as I was setting up my bar and asked if he had some time for a cut this afternoon. I am so glad he did! Upon my arrival I immediately felt like I belonged... a warm, inviting, and safe space. It’s cute and quaint and comfortable. Nathaniel was an amazing conversationalist and an even better barber. These people know how to give a good haircut. Youre missing out if you dont come here. I asked the barber, Nathaniel, if he could help switch up my hairstyle. He said absolutely and explained what he was thinking of doing. He didnt just give me a cookie cutter haircut either. Nate has been doing my hair for like 4 or 5 cuts now. He is willing to listen and actually hears you. Trusting a barber can be a challenge. These guys are solid.

Nathaniel is an absolute stud. Ever since I moved to Phoenix he has been my go to for a haircut and he works magic.

I never write reviews, this is the first review I have ever written, but this place was so great that i had to. I showed up 10 minutes early and was greeted immediately by by barber Dunkin who was already ready for me. He asked what I wanted and even though I was a little indecisive, he rolled with it and gave me better than what I could have asked for. He took his time and made sure it was perfect. Even if you didnt get the best cut, (be cut I have ever had from a barber) it would still be a 5 star experience. Both the barbers there were friendly, willing to talk about anything, and made sure every customer was comfortable. Couldnt recommend highly enough. If youre unsure of where to go and hesitant, just book an appointment, you wont be disappointed!

Best haircut I have had in awhile! I am horrible with names but the gentleman who cut my was on point. His consultation was very good he listened to my concerns and needs and explained how he could cut my hair to fit my face better. I highly recommend this place and the barber!

I was in Phoenix on Presidents Day for a conference and needed a haircut. I happened on this place, and becase of the holiday, just the owner was working. I enjoyed a wonderful conversation with him while getting a great cut. Told him next time I need a haircut, Im flying back to Phoenix.
