I have curly/wavy hair and am often disappointed in a haircut. I decided to give this place a try after reading the great reviews. Vee, I think was her name, gave me one of the best haircuts Ive ever received. She gave me a scissor fade and she was so fast and so free handed that I was really concerned it was not gonna turn out well, but seriously Im amazed at how easy she made it look to do what most stylists fail to do. The gentlemen, Yuri I think was his name who seemed like an owner or at least was in charge, checked me out at the end and he was super friendly and grateful for my business. The place was clean and Yuri gave a haircut to a little boy while I was there and he was so good with the boy. Anyway, I will definitely be returning and cant say enough good things about this place and the people who operate it. Thank you so much!

When I got off of the plane I decided I need to get cleaned up, so I looked online and found this place. I walked in almost when they opened and they were able to get me right in. Im an easy going person and I told Tina to just get me cleaned up. She asked what I thought that meant and I just let her take the wheel. These guys are professionals at what the do, stop bringing in pictures of out of magazines of Channing Tatum and you lol like flavor flav. Give um a break and let them make you look good. Anyways Tina fixed me up right and I feel confident about my haircut. Thanks Tina.

My sister made appointment for me last night and Ve was my barber. My brother said the man that made the appointment answered all his questions and was very nice, even when my sister complained about pricing, he explain to her what you get for the price. She saw ad on Facebook and saw how close your shop was to where we live. The front desk worker greeted us and Ve took me right away. She gave best haircut ever to me and she was also very kind. This was my first time here and I will be back.

Mike was amazing with my 18 month old! He was super playful and introduced all the tools to my kid while he cut my husband’s hair so he wouldn’t be scared. He recommended that the kid sit on his own for his cut so we played in the big chair for a bit and then just let him do his thing. The guy was like a hair cutting ninja, following the kid’s movements and cutting at just the right moments. I’m so happy this first went so well! p.s. my husband looks great too!

I have been coming to the Groomroom for three years now. I have continuously worked with Yuri and Eric. I have also had the joy of having Jacob and Everett. Yuri and Eric always remember the exact style and cut that I enjoy having - It has always been done right the first time. I find the barbers here highly skilled and professional. I strongly recommend trying this barbershop if you haven’t. They are second to none.

Its hard to find a barber shop that gets my haircut right every time, but this place does. I personally recommend Everett and Nathan. Always good conversation (if thats your thing), and if not theres a TV you can relax and watch while they work your magic.$30 for a quality haircut, plus a hot towel? Sold.The owner of the place definitely cares about his customers, too.

Last week I was visiting in Phoenix and saw this awesome place at the mall! Didnt make an appointment, but I was lucky and they did squeeze me in after a short wait time.Wow!!! Got the best shave I could remember and very nice trim! Guess what I had to go back one more time before my flight back home. Next time I will be in Phoenix I will be back for sure! Very professional and relaxing atmosphere and awesome service.

Found this place and havent had my hair cut anywhere else since, turns out my favorite barbers in other parts of the city usually started here. Yuri is all about taking care of the customers and the barbers are trained to give the best cuts. Highly recommended!

This place is awesome! Super friendly and free beverages while you wait. Got the first class (hair cut, shave, and face scrub). Its a little expensive ($85), but well worth it! Eric did a fantastic job. My face has never felt better! Ill definitely be back!

My in-laws live here in Phoenix, so Everytime we travel here I always stop in to get a fade. Being one that gets a haircut every weekend i am always more than satisfied with my hair when I leave. Today I brought my daughter and thankfully she was being good! The barber looked back more than once to check on her and tell me what she was doing. Highly recommend if you want a relaxing cut and great service!

A hair style, maybe even more so than the clothes a guy wears, should make him feel confident when going for an interview, out on a date, or simply out to do his daily business. What I received as a haircut from Groom Room does the opposite for me.I showed the person who was to cut my hair a picture of what I wanted. Not only was what he gave me a completely different style from the picture, its uneven, poorly shaped, and badly blended on the sides, front, and top. Im 100% certain I didnt ask for a hair style that looks like a mushroom chopped with a dull knife. This is without a doubt one of the worst haircuts Ive ever had.It may be that the person cutting my hair only knows how to do a limited number of styles. This in itself is not a major fault, but I would much more appreciate someone telling me they cant or are not sure how to do something than telling me they can and doing a terrible job. It would also make sense that a business such as a barber shop, salon, etc., in a relatively high-end shopping center such as the Biltmore should be able to accommodate customers with varying requests, and deliver on those requests to a good degree. That was unfortunately not my experience here.If youre looking for a quick haircut and dont care about a particular style or how well its done, this place may work for you; although you could save yourself some money and possibly get a better cut at Supercuts. If you want something specific, thats well done with attention to detail, and gives you a feeling of confidence about how you look, go somewhere else.

Best Straight Razor Head Shave ever.I came into town after a traumatic experience with a Geico Cavewoman and got an incredible Head Shave, Beard Trim and Neck-Shave.Nathan did mine. He is a Quieter, incredible attention to detail and super focused Barber.BTW.....he needed a beard shave, which I commented on! He was fantastic in his response and service.Use this Shop. Absolute gold.

I have been having Ronnie cut my hair for over 6 years and he is one of best barbers around. Him and the crew have created the best barber experience in Phoenix. When you walk in its like you step back in time to an old fashioned New York shop. I really enjoy it when I walk in and the play my favorite Frank Sinatra song. They really know how to keep their customers happy.

I received a pretty good haircut here today. Yuri did it just the way I asked. But also, good conversation too. The place is ran by smart people, so they hold good conversation. No awkward forced small talk here, just good haircuts and conversation.

I stopped by this marvilous shop last week. I didnt think I would be abke to get service do to me walking in. Lucky for me I did. This was going to be my first time getting a shave and I was excited but nervous as well. The barber Mr. Eric explained the steps and recommended a mask as well. Wow! Very relaxing service! I also got a haircut. I told him light trim and it came out nicely. Whenever I am visting here you will see me! Fabulous place!

Note: It is not helpful for new clients if you let them schedule an appt only to still make them wait and take other appointments in front of them while they are still waiting.I had this appointment scheduled for noon. When I got there at 11:57am, the gentleman informed me he would be with me shortly. 25 min later (when he finished with his client), he informed me that his 12:30 appointment arrived and that took precedence. Not helpful if you are trying to fit a hair cut into your work schedule.

I usually get a clipper cut at barbershops. The Groom Room website says a clipper cut is $20. They charged me $30 for my 7 minute haircut. The barbershop is old and in need of an update.

All staff members are nice and the facility is very clean. But for the price that I paid, the execution of my haircut was not that great.
