We always drive by this place for our way home so we’ve been dying to try it out! Today was the day!! The food is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! You get to choose if you want the buffet style + free naan or a la cart style! We chose the buffet so we can try a little bit of everything out and that includes the appetizers + desserts too! The servers here were super nice and kind, quick to refill our waters. This just became our new favorite place to eat at. 10/10!!!!
Indian Food has been a favorite, stopped by he India. Delhi Palace. The restaurant has created a proper. Social distance set up for pick up orders and is very spaced out for dinning customers. What a unique time we live in. Menu for the restaurant and pick up orders us their menu app. Food spicy is set for each customer preference. I would say Indian food her is served more on the spicy side. Some small items to work on but i will definitely come back.
The service and food is so-so. Not the best Indian restaurant. It looks nice from the outside though.
A very popular place with the locals! The food is very good so is the atmosphere. The staff is extremely friendly and gracious hosts! Their delivery service is Uber Eats as well as Door Dash!
I came for the lentil soup & naan. The menu looked very good online, so I made the 18 mile drive for lunch. Unfortunately, the lentil soup on the menu contained chicken. When I mentioned this, the guy taking the order just smiled. I ordered the vegetable soup, garlic naan & basmati rice to go. There was pleasant Indian music playing in the background and the atmosphere was nice. This would be a great place for lunch with friends-they also have a buffet. The soup was delicious-I added a little hot sauce & pink salt to taste.
The food was great. The service was fantastic. This restaurant is an hours drive from our home. We had never been there but we had business near there and stopped for dinner. Before we ordered my wife started feeling bad. They brought her a mint drink . And gave us more time to sit before ordering. (My wifes health is not good, it had nothing to do with the restaurant they are great) the place if clean and well kept. We ended up ordering to go for my wife. They came to check on us, they also helped me order because I never had Indian food before. the prices are also great. The drive home 1 hour. We got home the food had been packed well enough that we didnt Evan need to heat it up. My first curry with naan bread to dip. I will happily drive an hour to have that food again. The gentleman that waited on us was very good. My wife is from Europe and says the food was very authentic qutine.i just know there was enough for two meals and I want more
Excellent service. Very clean. Authentic indian cuisine. I would know i am from England and my husband worked as a chauffeur for the management. Authentic tandoori ovens etc. Highly recommend
The kabob was very dry and hard. Ive never given a restaurant a bad review up until now. Im very tolerant with honest mistakes but this was just insulting that they thought it was okay to do this. It was so dry, I first thought it was some kind of cracker. And a smaller problem was the server forgot to bring out a couple items so we had to remind him. Im a big fan of indian food and really wanted this place to be good. I would have given this place another chance if it wasnt for the dry meat. They have the interior design perfected, they just need to focus on quality control.
Clean, neat, food taste good, they need to hire more waiters...
Yall their food is so GOODDDTTTT!! I tried for the first time a couple days ago and went back a day later! Ive gone to other Indian restaurants throughout the Valley and was highly disappointed. I was so happy that I didnt give up on eating Indian cuisine in Phoenix because I was so pleased. I didnt take pics from when I first visited, but here are pics from today. They also have a store where you can shop and get spices and more. Ill definitely come back when I come back to AZ. Oh... Whatever that Brown sauce is that they serve with the samosas is sooooo good! You must try, you wont be disappointed!
Garlic naan was the standout in our meal. Saw this place was on restaurant week list and checked it out. Wont be back
Worst Indian Food ever!!!!We ordered Paneer and Malai Kofta and asked them to make it spicy like 9 on 10 spicy and they got it totally wrong (unless their scale was upside down.) No spice, no color, no taste. Would not recommend this place to anyone.
Has SO many FAKE good reviews! FIRST time I ever actually TRASHED Indian food being my favorite food!!!BEWARE!! Looked so good in the pictures and so bad that goes by another name on Uber eats!! Water Curry taste like Spicy water and Naan is like taking a bite of plastic, tried 3 times hoping it was just what I ordered but NO!! Worse Indian food Ever
Great Atmosphere! The food was amazing!! The waiter was exceptionally good. Doing everything by himself.
The best chicken Masala Ive ever had! They staff was exceptionally helpful, and helped me box a business lunch rather fast and they accommodated last minute schedule and canceled my plate charge and feed me for just a to-go! The food expo was so polite and in the few minutes I was there, I really was waited on hand and foot. I cannot wait to be back in
Lived near here for over 15 years and tried the lunch buffet for the first time with a 15% off coupon on the back of a Safeway receipt. Damn good for the price. Garlic naan was the best Ive had. Ill be back, again and again.
Food is always solid, I have never disliked anything I’ve ordered. My family and I love the buffet as we get to try new dishes every time.
I’ve been craving Indian cuisine and thought I’d give this place a shot let me say the spices smelled good but as i went to take my first bite of chicken biriyani it was super bland where is the flavor and heat.I also got the butter chicken and it was nothing like i had before very bland as well which was very disappointing i probably won’t go back. Especially for the price i paid for these 2 dishes to get served bland food.
Lunch buffet was not spicy. Real Indian food they said you gota order so next time but still good food n service
Always an excellent meal! Lunch buffet is great, the food is always fresh and hot. Clean and quiet atmosphere, its my new go to lunch spot!
Superb service and amazing food. I got the veggie platter, which is only available as a dine in option, that also includes desert. I loved it so much that I ordered more for lunch the next day. Absolutely coming back!
The restaurant was a cool and unique atmosphere. I ordered the assorted appetizers, vegetable korma, lamb pasanda newabi, and mango lassi. The service was decent, they were kind. I was disappointed that when you order an entree it doesn’t come with rice?? I’ve never seen where I have to order rice on the side to eat with my dish, very odd... the mango lassi was also very thin. Usually it’s a thicker drink. The flavors were great. I want to give the restaurant an overall 3.5.
Ive gone a few times, no complaints personally I like the food and smell of the place. Staff is friendly aswell. Am a fan of their rice pudding.
Very disappointed! Have eaten food here 3 times, first two times were good which is why 3 stars. But the last time the food was not good, like 1 star quality. The tikka masala was very watered down like the consistency of water and the serving had half the chicken as usual. It was almost like they didnt have enough for a full serving and topped the container off with water. It was also room temperature. The Nan was cold and very chewy like it had sat for a long time. Im not sure who made all these mistakes today, the other two times the Tikka masala sauce was thick and very hot temperature and the Nan was hot and crispy on the edges. Really so disappointed 😞
I was expecting the food to be delicious because the ambiance of this restaurant is upscale & cultural. However the food was a let down. I am Indian & I know my indian food. This place is the worst indian food I ate. I ordered butter chicken & asked them to make it spicy. Not only was it not spicy it was bland. There was nooo flavor. Also it didnt have the bright orange color it usually has from the tomato paste. The curry was watered down & not creamy. The rice is not basmati rice. Usually indian restaurant use quality rice but you could tell this rice was the cheapest quality. The naan was hard. I always look forward to eating indian food & this experience was a major let down. Dont go!!!
The Tandoori Chicken wasnt done in a Tandoori Oven. Furthermore chicken was dry & freshness was masked by caramelized onion.Naan Bread was dry and hard & service employees were seldom seen at the dining room.
We did take out and the portions were really generous, and the food was very tasty. It was very good and we will go back. And pay attention when you order about the spiciness you prefer. Their ratings are skewed more to the tastes of South Asians. If you prefer not so spicy food, order mild
We hadnt eaten there in years because of a less than a great experience. We Dined there yesterday, and what a great meal and service. We are so happy to have a close by Indian restaurant back to what it used to be. We will definitely be returning.
Decent lunch buffet. Spice and flavor was mild. Liked the goat curry and naan. Chicken tandoori was a bit dry and hard. Veg pakora was hard too. Desserts were good.
I really really enjoyed the food, however I paid like $25 after tip for takeout JUST to get 1 meal item! Rice, yes RICE, costs $4 extra to come with your order. I dont get it.I unfortunately will not be coming back due to the amount of food you dont get for the amount I paid. YIKES. I only recommend if you like throwing your money away.
The bathrooms were really dirty. It was cleaned horribly. And the food was very spicy even though we had the spice level at medium.
Good food. Compared to other Indian lunch buffet ariund this area, this is much higher at $15 although others are at $9-$10 for same food. I prefer india oven at Mesa given more variety n fresher food. Need to add Masala tea as is the norm for indian buffet. Need to offer more value for the price. Overall okay.
Best chicken Tikka masala in the valley!
The food was excellent and the prices reasonable. Definitely will return again.
The ambiance of the building is impressive, and follows suit inside as well. The service was excellent, thanks Jagmeet Singh! They have $7 signature cocktails and a variety of beers from indian beers to bud light. Dinner was a fusion of flavors, all of them rich and tasty. Good portions, and the complimentary northern naan bread at the start is always a winner!
Loved their food. Loved their prices and loved the atmosphere.
Chicken butter taste like the Pacific Ocean…
Visited this place yesterday for the first time. We arrived around 8pm in a Saturday. The ambiance is really nice. There is a beautiful fountain in the front of the restaurant. We received a complimentary basket of papad and chutney upon arrival and waters. The servers were prompt to attend to us. They have a full service bar. Entrees are vegetarian and non vegetarian. We ordered pakoras for appetizers, palak paneer, baingan bharta, dal maharani, rice and an assorted bread basket. The bread basket was good. Some of the naan were stuffed with spicy chilies. They weren’t messing around...they were Spicy. We has 4 to our table and did not feel rushed. Food was tasty. Being an Indian...I know my food. I did feel the portions were a little smaller than I’m used to and too small for the price. Other than that, great restaurant. I would return again.
These guys might have been serving Phoenix for the last 35 years but the are completely cluless about Delhi cuisine. I order spicy butter chicken and received a sweet gravy with peas and carrots and diced tomatoes in it. When I called back, the manager said that I don’t know about butter chicken but this is our style we have been cooking butter chicken like this for the last 35 years. I have never ever seen or tasted a butter chicken which is sweet and white.
Oh my gosh! So delicious!! Fresh buffet. Everything tasted amazing! And their service with bringing water, clearing my table, very attentive. Totally will be back.
I tried this place for the first time. Got the butter chicken and it was fairly good. But I won’t be returning because the tiny amount of food you get for the price ($13) is not worth it. You don’t even get rice with your food. They will charge you $3.50 for rice.
I have been eating here for years, hope to continue to go for years more. Enjoyed every meal Ive ever eaten here full stop.
Went to Indian Delhi Palace with my sister and ordered goat mesala, it was the nastay thing ever. I asked them if I can change it and the response was no I was stuck to eat something I didn’t like. As a customer you shouldn’t feel force to eat something you don’t want because they refuse to change your food. Especially when I am paying for it. Overall it was the food was bad and it took forever to come. I’m so disappointed I really thought I would enjoy this restaurant.
The naan was about as good as it gets.We had buffet and it was terrible taste. No flavor at all.
Best food. Best service. Best of everything.
My coworkers and I got take out from here. The food was good, but the portions dont coincide with price. Especially if we have to pay for rice separately. The spice level was on point. I would go back to try the buffet, but never take out again.
Delicious food and friendly service! Very authentic and some of the best somasas in town!
Best Indian food Ive tried. (Only had indian food two other time)
Good food. Tried the butter chicken, lamb Rogan Josh and Shahi paneer and naan. Food wasnt spicy or oily which was great. Portion sizes could be better but the food tasted good.
Goat Masala was not tasty and meat was very hard .
Came before 9:15 pm and was told no dine in within 30 mins
This place has 7 different restaurants in one. Bound to find something. Very attentive staff
The lunch buffet is fantastic! The service is great highly recommended!
NEGATIVE -1, Yuuuck They were just OK about 5 yrs ago, Now their food is too watery and Their Naan like plastic. You know when you so hungry everything tastes GOOD?? well NOT anymore!! I will drive 15 extra min for Good Indian food.
Rice costs extra for some reason. No youtensils or napkins in bag.Trying to cut costs perhaps? Understandable in these times of uncertainties. But still however none the less. Rice should come on the meal with no extra charge. We all face difficulties
Everything was amazing the food, service, the smell
Honestly my favorite evening place. the staff was very helpful and observant. it has a great atmosphere. similar to a place in denver i loved.
Highly suggest their mango lassi! Its deliciousness in a cup! The food was delicious. I made the mistake of ordering a 6 spicy on the chicken tikka masala and by the time I was wrapping up what I had on my plate I had tears streaming down my face. Be aware that this place means it when they say its spicy! The server had a little room for improvement, and while he was polite he wasnt a whole lotta friendly.
It was the worst Indian food I have ever eaten and the service there was terrible. I would give them no star if I could. Also the food wasn’t even cooked all the way.
The staff was very polite and friendly. The food was absolutely amazing! I got the buttered chicken and Bazamati rice, I will be back for more if Im ever in the area!
The worst Indian restaurant, very bad tandoori chicken and chicken curry.
Extremely low quality, stale food. I ordered lunch buffet which had Chicken tikka masala, dal maharani, kheer and gulab jamun. Everything was so so bland and watery with no richness. Chicken tikka and dal actually got mixed up and turned up to a weird combination. Kheer was actually prepared from stale milk that had an extremely bad after taste. This is highly inappropriate and I am actually worried about food poisoning. I myself cook all the time and felt this was the worst. Not at all recommended! Waste of money. Please check better indian restaurants nearby.
This restaurant is as beautiful inside as it is outside and the food is amazing! It reminded me of my visit to India a few years ago. The staff is very attentive and friendly. I had the opportunity to meet the owner as well. He stopped by to see if were enjoying our food and the service. He made us feel very welcomed and appreciated. I will definitely continue to support this family restaurant.
The food was tremendous, the atmosphere was very chill and the service was great!
The food was delicious and the servers are so kind.
Food was good, but wasn’t spicy at all. Wasn’t allowed amount of desired rice for each round at the buffet. Place looked clean for the most part, but I did see two cockroaches during my visit.
We stopped in for an early Valentines day dinner date, Im so glad we did! The staff are very polite and attentive, we always had fresh water, anything we wanted right away. The restaurant is clean and nicely decorated, with good Indian music playing on the sound system. The food is amazing, we went with an 8 out of 10 on the spicy level, it was nice and hot, really delicious. They have good wine/beer/cocktail options. There is a little market attached, lots of cool stuff in there, too. Overall really excellent.
I really really love this place.
Amazing food and great service! A+++
Amazing place, amazing people and delicious food! We recently visited this restaurant after a few years and remembered how awesome the food was. We loved their party venue so much that we had our sons 1st birthday party here!Go there, you will not be disappointed.
Had the lamb ? 😋 well good flavors but couldnt deal with mild heat. Lol
The food was very bland and tasteless.
The service was amazing. The food was equally awesome. Great portions, flavor and variety. Some language difficulties but attributed some of that to my hearing. The environment was great for a date night for that special person in your life. I found the prices to be reasonably good.
The other night I turned into a diva over missing naan from a delivery ordered. I may have been kind of short when I called the restaurant back.Anyway. My bad. Hopefully this review helps offset that. Ive been ordering from Indian Delhi Palace on and off over the years - Quality is usually superb, especially the tandoori chicken. Some times the spiciness level does not seem to match quite what was ordered, but I know thats probably a difficult thing to get perfect for any restaurant.Overall - I recommend the spot.
Constantly rushing us and the place wasnt even full
