Giving 1 star only because there’s not an option of 0. I contacted Ricardo who seemed to be the one in charge or owner of the place. Due to the pandemic they only show the place by appointments. He gave me a date and time that worked for him which was the following day. I called him 30 min after our appointment time to let him know I was there but got no answer. After calling 3 times and leaving a voice mail I decided to leave and soon after he finally called be back. He stated that the person that would show me the hall was on their way but I was heading home already so we re-scheduled for the next day. I show up to the hall again on time and same thing happened. No one there and no answer to my calls. I left a message once again yet to my surprise I didn’t get a call back this time. Very unprofessional and upsetting behavior. Time is valuable and my time was wasted!

I give it 4 * because they server you warm water without even putting ice on it, and Arizona too hot to be driving warm water....

My sister used LA Reception for her wedding which was a huge mistake. The owner consistently lied to us. The food was several hours late and was served cold. The wedding guests jumped in to help pour water, serve dinner, pass out the champagne, and cute/serve the cake. I would strongly encourage anyone to think twice before using LA Reception for their event. Its very unfortunate that the owner/coordinator would have such little regarding or interest in making your special day, or event a success.

ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE!!! Unfortunately, We hired LA Reception to do our daughters wedding reception (minus the DJ and Photographer, which were the only things that went well!)! The food was over 2 hours late and when it finally arrived it was dried out, slopped on plated (no presentation), and worst of all was not kept on warmers and was served cold, which is a health code violation!!! It was so bad that our guests jumped in to help. It was our guests that got water and drinks out to tables after sitting there for an hour. Guests jumped in to plate and serve the food, pour champagne for the toast, and cut and pass out the cake!!!!!!!!!! If it wasnt for so many guests jumping in to help the reception would have been a complete disaster!!!!!! The owner, Aida was not honest and up front with us when we called her to find out where the food was. The first time she sent me a text stating that she was on her way with the food (the food actually arrived 2 hours later). Then, 30 miutes later, after several attepts to reach her, she told me that she was 10 minutes away (food still didnt arrive for over an hour after this conversation). The third time I called her (again, it took several attempts before she would answer) she told me that she had no idea when she would get there. If she had been honest with me from the beginning we could have started dancing or done something else to fill the time, but because she was dishonest we continued to tell our guests that the food was almost there! Some people even started taking up a collection to go buy food because they didnt think she would really bring food! Our previous deelings with the owner/coordinator were very different then on the day of the event! The day of the event she was anything but perfessional! She was not dressed appropriatly, was flustered, cried, and could not even come close to fulfilling her contact!!!!!!! Other then the decorations, absolutely everything that she was in charge of was a complete diaster! On top of dealing with the mess she made of things, she refuses to rectify the horrible expereince in any way and will no longer take or return our calls!!!
