This place was recommended to me by a trusted source so I was feeling confident when I chose them. Though they were timely and accommodating to my busy schedule, after corroborating with another experienced mechanic, I was disappointed to find out they overcharged me by a few hundred dollars on a part. Furthermore, I had to return a few days later because the same engine warning sign came up. There was all around poor communication and dishonesty as to what the original problem was and I was ultimately charged for something I should have never been charged for and that ultimately didn’t fix the issue. Very disappointed. Hopefully nobody else has any issues but may this serve as an alternative perspective.

Sean has always been honest and never does any work unless he thinks its necessary, and always tells me up front the cost. Mazvo is a prime example of trustworthy, locally owned mechanics. Great customer service to boot.

I grew up on a farm where we had dozens of vehicles we serviced ourselves. I was taught never to trust mechanics... I haven’t taken a car to a mechanic in close to 15 years.My girlfriend was referred to Mazvo by a friend for an electrical issue. I went there with her and was immediately impressed with the owners personality, knowledge, and no nonsense approach to his business. They quickly and efficiently fixed her problem for far less money than I expected.I had the recent misfortune of breaking down on my way to work. I probably could have fixed the issue with some elbow grease and frustration but had no desire to do so in a 105 degree garage so I called up Mazvo. I spoke to them on the phone for a minute and had my car towed there. As soon as it arrived they gave me a call, we came up with a course of action, and the car was fixed in less than 24 hours.If I could give them 10 stars I would! The best part of the experience — the laughs are free. You’ll know what I’m talking about when you give them a call, and you should definitely give them a call if your vehicle needs some work!

I first took my 2009 Honda Pilot to Mazvo in September 2019 because my engine suddenly made a chonking noise while I was driving. Mazvo was recommended to me by the best auto body shop in AZ, Select Auto Body. Mazvo diagnosed the problem and had it fixed the next day. In July 2020, My a/c went out right before a trip to San Diego. The owner called and asked if we had paid $5000 or more in repair costs in the last 5 years. I said no. He said then it was worth paying $1000 to get the a/c fixed, however, the catalytic converter was another matter. We had over 180k miles on the Pilot and without a new cc, it most likely wouldnt pass emissions. Fortunately, we had just registered the car for 2 years, so were good until 2022. I really appreciated the owners analysis and advice for our older, high mileage car. Its been running great since July and I highly recommend Mazvo if youre looking for an honest and quality repair shop.

So where do I start? Shahe has been awesome since the VERY first day he helped me with a Used car I bought a week before he checked out my car, & on top of that he came to me while I was in class because I couldnt leave! He is super courteous, professional, and affordable. He told me my car was in good running condition, & did the check-up as a courtesy; which was a PLUS because I am a single mother. Push comes to shove, I come to him for an oil change the last week of April. He fit me in on the last minute, & got everything taken care of for me in about 30-40 minutes from arrival to walking out the front door. 👍 Here we are the first week of May, & Im back again to replace a window rotor for my window; which Im assuming is just normal wear & tear because I bought a used 2006 Chevy Trailblazer. Im so glad I listened to reviews & came to MAZVO. He is truly an awesome mechanic, who is also honest & genuinely loves his job because he also educates me on things I do not know. The Toyota dealer told me my car needed $3500 of repairs after which a service guy there tried to buy the car from me on open title “for his niece.” I smelled a rat and took the car to Mazvo instead. Mazvo fixed the car for $540 and explained to me line by line why most of the repairs they said I needed were unnecessary. I appreciated the time and honesty and will bring my cars to Mazvo and not the dealer in the future!

I called Mazvo regarding an issue that was found with my vehicle at a dealership maintenance shop, and I wanted to get a second opinion. Shawn, the owner, gave me advice and provided his expertise at no cost. He helped me save the most money I could in the situation with his knowledge of how the dealership service shops operate, despite it meaning my immediate business wouldnt be going to his shop. He even told me to call back if I wanted any further advice or had any questions.Next time anything is wrong with my car Ill be headed straight to Mazvo instead of the dealership, its easy to tell they care about treating their customers right, and fair.

The work and customer service is impeccable, knowledgeable, and affordable. Id recommend to anyone. I moved to the area 2 years ago and have had significant car problems. Im grateful to have found Mazvo on recommendation from a friend. They are quick and efficient, while maintaining an excellent work product. They are real with you and tell you what you actually need to get done. From the moment I walked in they were welcoming and made the experience actually enjoyable. The dealership for my car had given me excuse after excuse and tried to sell me expensive repairs while Mazvo fixed the issue immediately so that my car was safe to drive. Plus, they took the time to explain what was going on in terms that I could understand.

This guy tried to take advantage of my car ignorance.A bulb in my car went out. I asked how much it would be to fix it. He made an argument that it depended how hard it was to get to the bulb. He took advantage of my car mechanic ignorance to make me think it would be difficult.His price for changing the lightbulb was up to $36 depending on the difficulty.I called another dealership (a honda one) and they quoted $15 in addition to the price of the bulb.When I arrived, the honda dealership changed the bulb within 15 minutes of me buying the bulb and they didnt charge anything except the price of the bulb.I ended up only paying $7 to fix the bulb. The rest was free. I was upset that if I hadnt called around I would not have known the bulb issue was an easy fix.I highly recommend seeking out other dealerships other than this one especially if you are not knowledgeable regarding car mechanics to ensure you are not taken advantage of.At least call other places to compare prices.
