Everything was fine by move-in date thanks to leasing office staffs.

This place is not worth the one star I and forced to give. I have been calling for weeks to talk to the leasing office. I have left copious amounts of voicemails and emails with no return. my mom and I decided to fill out an application.. without notice that application became a lease!!! a lease for a different unit than the one I had applied for. Since they will not answer me and have taken my money and signed a lease with me all without any contact or an agreement for a different apartment. this is not ok. I want a refund and this lease dissolved immediately. this unknowingly became an agreement when all I thought it was was an application to potentially live there. Let me out of your awful management. this place has terrible business ethics and obviously tricks people into this. I even cancelled my application and got a email confirming it and this happened.

I really liked my apartment and everyone in the office was very kind and helpful. However, the gate and washing machines were often broken, my neighbors frequently threw extremely loud parties until about 2am, and I was approached by multiple male residents in a way that did not make me feel comfortable as a single woman.

Great community - Josephine is very professional and helpful by answering my questions. Maintenance is great at repairing any issues I have. Close by the I-17, very convenient.

I only lived here for about two years. It was my first apartment i loved it! i lived in a studio apartment. it was kept clean, maintenance was very sweet and the staff was always helpful! The tenets are pretty quiet and i enjoyed staying here.

I lived here for 6 months and had a pleasant experience. Eli helped me out from start to finish and was straightforward and honest. There were never any ‘gotchyas.’ I even got my security deposit back! The neighborhood is very safe. I’d recommend for a short stay where you don’t want to worry about getting furniture.

Great Staff, furnished apartments, comes with WI-FI and complementary trash service. Maintenance team is always available to get things fixed and the premises are SAFE in a gated community.

The management team did a fantastic job of making sure everything was just right. If there was any issue they were on it right away. Eli was great to work with and continued to go out of his way to make my daughter’s experience amazing. The maintenance staff were all very nice and they too did everything they could to provide great customer service. Besides just a couple challenges upon move in (which is normal) everything went great! Grounds are nice and kept up and the overall place is quieter than expected. Nice work, GC Square and thank you!!

Application, leasing, and process were super easy. Eli and Kevin were absolutely amazing in taking care of everything. The apartment is clean and comfortable. After being here for 6 months, I can honestly say it’s been a great experience. Eli is very responsive and maintenance is quick and thoughtful.

If this place is getting any positive feedback it is false. MEB doesn’t follow their own contract or understand any of its context. Failed to return deposit. This place has loud neighbors and management is very unwelcoming. Unprofessional service from MEB and rent will change even while in a contract. Bad neighborhood and far more negative experiences with this place then I’ve ever had anywhere else. Don’t be fooled by the MEB staff’s fake smiles and lies. THIS PLACE IS TERRIBLE avoid it. If it seems too good to be true that’s because it is.

I had a great experience living at GC Square Apartments. I felt safe and it was adjacent to GCU where I am a student. I moved for personal reasons but felt very comfortable recommending it to close friends. The place is clean, the staff is helpful and friendly, and security is great! *All utilities included is true of this complex.

I just moved in, and came from UK. Did all my arrangements online. The management was very helpful, friendly, and very cheerful. I saw all of the information, and photos, and when I arrived today, it was just as you see online.Very happy, a satisfied person!!

Ernesto is the BEST maintenance guy. He’s always on it and listens diligently to your maintenance requests. He is very speed and efficient when it comes to requests.Eli and Dottie are great when it come to any office needs. They are incredibly helpful and am thankful for such a great management team. They are so amazing and make me feel at home. I never want to leave!

I love this place! It was the perfect fit for me to transition from my parents home to my own place. And its furnished like a dorm! How cool is that?! I work and go to school in the area and I dont drive so its great that everything I need is within walking distance or close to a bus stop. The staff has been very helpful during my stay here. I dont hear much street noise. The neighborhood is older but GCU has done a lot to improve our area. GC Square has mostly students and hard working people from what I have noticed. I’ve met some really nice neighbors and some not so nice snobby ones. But overall I’m personally happy.

Great sense of security. Prime location. Amazing staff. Love that the apartments being furnished was an option as I’m here for college, made the move here much easier on my end. Any time a work order needs to be done, the crew is always quick to fix whatever the issues are. If I could give it 10 stars I would.

An inclusive community! The office staff is super quick to respond to emails and returning phone calls. Even in emergency situations or after business hours. All of the staff is super friendly and does a really good job at making sure you’re being heard and responded to. If you’re looking for a new apartment stop by you won’t be disappointed.

Found the staff to be both friendly (not just with their residents and hopeful residents, but also with each other.) and quick to answer any questions asked.The associate that I processed my application with, Eli, was literally hoping out of his seat to assist me whenever I had a question. His demeanor was friendly, and good humored. He also was willing to go out of his way to create an avaliability. Which was awesome!

Moved here from Minnesota for my first year of college. I didn’t know the area but extremely regret the past 8 months spent living here. The area, for lack of a better word, is extremely sketchy. I got at least 10 sex offender notifications of men that were all within a 5 block radius of me. Once, I had a blacked out car follow me into the apartment through the gate, parked right next to me and tapped on my car window offering to sell me drugs. I had many instances of people trying to open my sliding glass door in the middle of the night. For a month, the gas was shut off and was unable to do laundry or use the pool or barbecues. I understand the pool and barbecues aren’t a vital life necessity but not being able to do laundry for over a month is absolutely unacceptable. The hot water rarely worked as it reasonably should. I had to make many requests to have it fixed, as the water in my shower, bathroom sink, and kitchen sink was ice cold for days on end. The people working at the apartment are great but overall, it was a really difficult situation all around and just hope no one else locks themselves into months or years of ridiculous circumstances!

I moved in during May and have been treated so graciously and treated with high quality service. The assistant manage Eli Flores leads and manages with positivity and a solution-focused mentality--he is always smiling! Ever since my move I have experienced a safe environment, quiet residents, and a spotless environment and landscape. Most importantly, with being a student at GCU and working full time their utilities included was such a blessing and it has been the perfect place to reside. Keep in mind, the security level here is top notch with over 30+ cameras and always working gate. I would highly recommend this place of living for an young adult who or anyone who is needing a place to stay with high quality service and proximity to GCU or the Central Phoenix. I plan on staying here for quite some time.

Amazing renovation built for a college paradise. Looking for an apartment was stressful, so it was nice that GC Square had transparent pricing and includes furnishing, amenities, and all utilities. By time you can compare prices to moving anywhere else it is way more cost effective for the price.They have study spots, ping pong, gas grills, a big pool, lawn games, a rec center, and many more. I can’t wait to see it filled with GCU students!It also only cost an extra $50/mo to add a bed/roommate.

I’ve been going back and forth on different apartments having a hard time picking one because I’m currently in a horrible situation so I’ve been taking my time to make sure my next living situation is well thought out. After a tour with Kevin I absolutely know this is the place with me. He was patient, answered a million questions, showed me the property TWICE and never once complained or made me feel like I was wasting his time. I was happy to find out today I was approved and I look forward to moving in later this month. I absolutely can not wait to be apart of this amazing community. It already feels like home. Front office is pretty bad. They’re too scared too call you with information. They get mad when you ask why didn’t anyone call. Eli just lies to you to get you out of the office. Horrible and unprofessional. Don’t recommend unless school’s paying for it.

Best apartment complex I’ve ever lived at. It really doesn’t feel like you live on 35th camelback due to the complex being gated and having security and being really nice and well kept. Feels Scottsdale quality!

I’m a 3rd year student at GCU and can’t express how grateful I am to call GCU Square my home. The staff is always so helpful and knowledgeable about what is going on within the property. Natalie, the new manager has been a breath of fresh air since her take over. Again I cannot say better things about this property, the location is so convenient and makes my school/home life much more balanced.

DO NOT RECOMMEND. I was trying to lease an apartment but the staff was not in the office during the stated business hours and after an hour wait they all showed up. They were extremely rude and gave me trouble when I was trying to get information about a lease.

I lived at GC square for a little over 8 months, which is a normal school year. and have quite a few things that i would like to put out there and get off my chest. Eli the assistant property manager is AWESOME. He was always willing to help with any problem my roommates and I had along with partaking in small talk with us. We really appreciate the help and kindness he showed us over the year.The main property manager though, is not kind at all. We were promised a gift card on move in and it took 6 months of coming in weekly and asking for it. Every time i would approach her about it she wouldn’t make eye contact and she would belittle me and my friends. The one and only time she was kind to me was when the property owner was in the office for the day, this was the only day that she made eye contact with me and offered to help. After 6 months of waiting the property managers called and said they could only give me the gift card money and take it off from our months rent because it was ‘too complicated’ to get done. I have a few friends that lived on the property who received their gift cards on move in which was 2 days to a week before me last august of 2018. The main property manager never was willing to help out with any other problems either every problem i had went straight through Eli who seemed to be the only guy in the office that put in work.Next, the apartment items were cheaply made and easily broken. The property was advertised as refurbished / renovated / refinished when i moved in but the doors were consistently creeky, our shower head FELL OFF and hit my roommate in the head while she was showering, our bathroom rod broke off when we hung two towels on it, and our toilet paper holder broke.Lastly, our gas and water were constantly being shut off. There was also a point in time that i remember the laundry room was off limits for a MONTH. Not only was the laundry room off limits but the pool was as well. The pool was a great idea and fun hangout spot for residents to meet and hangout or to relax and while i understand it wasn’t the end of the world I would enjoy getting to use what i pay for.In all, my experience here was not the best but Eli and the residents that i did encounter living there were very kind.

This apartment complex is really bad especially for GCU students. I’ve lived here a little over a year and the staff made living and going to school very difficult because they were incompetent in handling paperwork and payments. They are generally rude and unhelpful when appliances broke. I do not recommend to live here for anyone.

Dirty.Additionally, looking at the accounts reviewing, they are all single-review accounts. This is dirty practices, I cant speak to the living quality but if I could casually notice review manipulation then their standard work practices must be equally unethical.1/5. Get your staff to remove the phony reviews, apologize for the scumbag behavior, and maybe treat your residents better to actually get decent reviews.

Went down to view and lease a apartment had a cig that I was smoking I flicked it too the curb and angelica? Whoever worked sat Nov 10 at 2pm rushed out the door to the leasing office and said we are a smoke free community and shooed my away with her hand. No manners no tact and if this is a indication of your staffs customer service skills I can only imagine how you deal with tenets who have a issue so I got right back in my car with my wife and left I called the office to let them know I wont make my appt. On to a place that actually can talk to people

KEVIN is Amazing ! He answered my many questions via telephone before I arrived. He went the extra mile to ensure that my unit would be ready for me to move in on a saturday! Upon arrival, Kevin provided a tour of the complex, including my apartment. From the office, common areas, fitness center, pool and laundry, to my unit, everything looked neat and tidy. It was immediately evident to me that the staff here takes pride in a job well-done. With a gas station on the corner, a Pizza Hut and Walgreens across the street, and just minutes to the interstate, the location is very convenient. I have been a resident for two months now, and I do not have a single thing to complain about. I recommend GC Square to anyone who is looking for a safe, quiet, furnished ( including tv ), utilities-paid ( including internet & cable ) apartment. I feel blessed to have found this great deal ! I feel assured that when I visit Kevin at the office, I will, not only be greeted with a big beautiful smile, but I will receive outstanding service. Thank you KEVIN !

I hated living at this apartment because crackheads and homeless people continuously peed outside of the gates and sometimes found their way inside the complex. I felt very unsafe

They look great I was just wondering if the apartments charged rent per person or just one set price for the rent ?

I lived here from August 2018 until November 2018 and this place has been great to me. It was suppose to be a short term solution until I found a more permanent place but I didnt expect it to be so nice. The staff in the leasing office are awesome especially Eli. I liked that everything was included in one bill so I only had account to pay and the apartments are gated. So now time for a couple of things that might not be appealing to some people. The internet was not the best at least where my apartment was located in terms of speed and coverage. There were a couple of times when the hot water seemed like it was being messed with and it would be luke warm for a couple of days but that hasnt happened in a while. Keep in mind that these are student based apartments so these are not the most spacious things and the surrounding area may not be ideal for some people but the staff and nice apartments make up for it. All in all my experience here was good and I am actually thinking about moving back in when my lease ends at my current place to save money among other reasons (assuming that everything is still great when that time comes).

I had appliances that broke due to their already poor quality and when i informed management i received no help to repair/exchange appliances. thanks guys

I’m a current GCU student and I took a tour of this apartment complex and I was extremely disappointed by the area and security given that they advertised primarily for students. There was a lot of garbage all over the complex and someone had peed in the exit of the parking lot. It was disgusting the way that management just brushed off the situation!!!!!

Update.been here for almost a year and always felt safe.
