First, I went to an upscale waxing center for my first wax months prior to going to Wax Downtown and the upscale waxing center experience was horrible and I never wanted to get waxed again.In Nov I decided to give waxing another try and found Audra through a recommendation, as soon as I saw her website and instagram i knew i was going to have a much better experience this time around.As soon as I got to her little salon.. it was super clean, adorable, warm and felt private. Audra talked me through the session and educated me about my services and hair care. She is really knowledgeable and you can tell has been waxing for a long time. During the session I felt comfortable and relaxed for as much as you can be getting waxed. My wax was great and the redness gone that same night. I feel confident now to go in my swimsuit and not have to worry about anything. Audras prices where really affordable and she takes debit cards. Highly recommend her services.

Needed an eyebrow wax and usually put off doing this until the situation is DIRE. A quick Google search brought me to Wax Downtown and Audra is one of the most professional and friendly people Ive ever met. Even though the appointment took all of 15 minutes, I would have stayed to talk to her all day! She was very conscientious of what I was looking for and made sure to listen when I asked for small changes. Will be back when I let my caterpillar eyebrows grow back!***EDIT***I went back today when Wax Downtown re-opened and Audra was just as wonderful as the first time. She wore a shield mask (the clear ones that go across your forehead) and washed her hands as soon as I walked in and as soon as she was finished. I also wore a mask the entire time. It wasnt uncomfortable or didnt get in the way of what she was doing. We chatted like it hadnt been 3 months since we last saw each other, hah. She was able to bring my brows back to life! Ill be back again for sure, assuming the city is still adhering to good COVID practices.
