Ive been with Alliance Solutions Group for seven years now taking on assignments, some with flexibility and some with wider longevity. I no longer need to travel, and Donna, a fantastic staffing agent, is actively seeking a permanent position for me. I no longer have doubts, rather, success stories!

I own a small business and needed a qualified typist in a pinch to meet a deadline. Donna at Stivers was able to get me a qualified typist overnight and thankfully I didn’t miss my deadline. Great place with top notch service.

Hours are never put in on time. Ive received payment late multiple times. Very unprofessional. There are many other credible and valuable staffing agencies for this one is the absolute worst I ever encountered. Please save yourself the trouble of employment through this agency. I am waiting on another late payment as I write and this is obviously the last straw. Also, the only 5 star responses are from staff at the agency. This is embarrassing.

Stivers is one of the more compassionate temp agencies I have worked with in my working with agencies. Donna is one of the best recruiters to work with because if there is an issue she will listen to your situation and try to help you through it. One time I was short on money and she was kind enough to let me borrow from petty cash so I could make it to work. I will never forget that act of kindness. Many agencies will not do that for someone in need and just replace you with someone else. Also if the assignment isnt for you just let them know and they dont hold it against you like other companies who will accuse you of not wanting to work. I am so glad how the how helped me this year.

The staff is pleasant, serviceable and professional. I like the downtown location for access. One odd the best things have to be the wealth of job opportunities.

Top notch staffing service! My experience with them has been nothing but professional. They have been in business since 1945 and they know what they are doing. They have an excellent reputation in Philadelphia, and nation-wide! Sometimes staffing services attract the crazies so its not surprising they get a few unfavorable (untrue) reviews.

I wouldnt recommend this agency to anyone. They dont honor their contracts and not all that interested in placing people on assignment. They still have not sent out W-2s, and the worker told me they arent going out until Feb 1 2016 I called Tuesday Feb 2, 2016 and was told they had some stragglers and wouldnt receive it til end of the week.

Terrible terrible terrible. Completely unprofessional. They made me go through licensing classes and take a state test all for a job I never got. Spent a lot of money on traveling to get to the classes and testing center, but once I got licensed I never heard from Stivers again. I emailed every person I could. Finally the manager Ashley emailed me back saying she would look into why I never received a start date for the job and I never heard from her again either. I called the office multiple times and they just give you the run around Oh well look into it and call you back which they never do. Terrible place, lots of money wasted for nothing.

Never again lol. On the phone someone told me they had a full-time position for me but when i make the trip to their office its a part time position? Waste of my time especially since i had an interview with the hilton the same time but canceled on them because I thought i was receiving a full-time job in the city. Its not even in Philadelphia. I didnt even have the job yet because they had to submit my application to the actual company which i did not know what the company is (you dont find out where youre actually working at or where your resume is going until a company wants you) so i had no idea what kind of job i would be working. I just took the job at the hilton. They also look very young and timid to be running a staffing office.

This place is horrible! I have been on a long term assignment for 16 months and never called me back for another assignment. My last day at the long term assignment was September 5th and its December 11th and I still have no work. I have been calling and constantly checking in but I keep getting this chick that answers the phone name Ashley Knecht who keeps telling me that there are no assignments available. You mean to tell me since September you havent had any assignments available? What temp agency doesnt have any work?? Also they dont return any of my messages whatsoever. Its obvious they have their favorite temps that they can rely on so they give the assignment jobs to them and leave their good dedicated workers hanging. Overall, dont apply here because they dont have enough assignment jobs to keep you working and they are full of crap!! Such a waste of my precious time and I definitely would not recommend Stivers Staffing to anyone.

I have been trying to seek employment. I applied and they waste your time and have you to Fill out direct deposit for no reason. This place, I have been registered for over 5 yrs.
