This is a wonderful company to work for, Im so glad that Im here !The fantastic staff got me a job right after I handed them my application !Im working full time at Pedros Sombrero Hat And Glove Company, and they started me off at 26 dollars an hour, with benefits. They even provided me with a chauffeur driven limo, And the best part of it is its a sitting job, I just do my nails and answer the phone occasionally.Thanks First Step !

Terrible management. Jason Zerbe was supposed to call my company back over 10 days ago in regards to filling 20 General Labor jobs that we had open. He did not call my office, my cell or send an email in return to these 20 possible positions for people who need them the most. Thankfully Express Employment was able to help and we were able to get 20 people to work. Its disgraceful thinking that we called them first to help the people who need it most and management, AKA Jason Zerbe, didnt even have the common courtesy to return the call. VERY DISAPPOINTING and a terrible look for the people who thought of this amazing idea. Get new management and maybe you can get people to work.

I got hired for a warehouse job through First Step Staffing. The Warehouse job was Pitney Bowes in Levittown. Third shift the shift I applied for starts at 16.25 as a mail Sorter which I am. I work 11-7 in the morning Ive been working here for a month now 40 hours a week I havent received a 300 dollar paycheck yet every paycheck I had was below 300 dollars and this is my fourth paycheck. I understand that the temp agency has to take its cut which seems to me their taking more than their fair share. Can somebody tell me what to do and what jobs pay this much a hour or more?.

If i could put 0 stars i would. Worst agency to work with. Hours are constantly played with and this is the most unprofessional, lack of communication type of agency i have ever worked for. I’m in the process of suing. Watch your hours.

The place did help me get my forklift certification but didnt help me get a forklift job. Karina dorsey the one boss was respectful and helpful and I give her 5 stars for all her dedication to helping her clients out. Thanks Karina for all that u did for me

This agency isn’t worth getting comfortable with, I’ve been associated with this agency for some time now, now they have descent pay, transportation, and hours, Also let’s now look at the disrespect, impertinence and discourteous conduct and lack of communication and information that this agency has displayed while working for them, if other opportunities come your way run to them, this agency has a form of a new start and a first step but within those suites contains false hope, get a real job, skill or trade because once you’re sent to a warehouse your an object of business I had to find that out the hard way because I would get treated so poorly and abusively at the warehouses that I was sent and then lost my job because I said enough was a enough could I get another assignment and was dropped like a hot potato please don’t get comfortable in this agency

Kelly a very good business women but sometimes takes a while to get back to you once you call just kidding. All jokes aside Kelly really is balanced business women and checks on her clients from time to time. Great placement First step at entering the building of First Step I was hired and not only this there were multiple jobs to choose from. They never said we would be hired permanently but it definitely put some quick cash in our pockets. I never went through a temp agency before and didn’t know I would when I entered this facility, but whoever First Step and whoever initiated this onboarding interest was in the people because they really didn’t care who came through the door. They were hired! Thanxs for the opportunity

Its a okay agency to work for overall. They find work for you and they are good about following up making sure that the job is convenient for u.

Filled out a application an was told to wait about a week for background check. Has been over a month with no follow up calls, email nothing. Calling first step staffing is useless because voicemails are full an automatic message system has limited options an does not connect you with an actual person

In florence Staffing agent monica mislead me to believe i would be working 5 days a week at 11/hr When really its 11/hr four days a week. An no one really makes forty hours their. Its good for the guys in the halfway house,But not for someone on the street with responsibilities. Monica should be replaced.. Unprofessional

Efficient professional and organized

This company is poorly managed, one of the “staff employees” johnene set me up with a job, only for the job employer to lie about transportation. The employer said she will provide it with an Uber to my address and only to find out I had to be at the agency for the Uber. The employer gave false information and was very rude, cut me off while I was speaking and hung up. Johnene sided with the employer when she knew how determined I was with finding a job. Overall this is a bad company to confide in, do not recommend. Time wasted.

They Always playing with your money & they’re very disrespectful & racist

Its not as good as it seems no time and a half they keep that money only the money they estimated you to have worked

All they want and do is love to hire and fire. They ask for no explanations. Its like oh your ill and need a sick day, ok your fired.
