They make you prepay for work (only me and I believe and I’m just going to say it because I’m black) I didn’t see not one person that wasn’t black be told they would have to prepay for services and then refuse to give you your money back ! I requested my money back because they tried to charge me 400$ for an extraction that after I called my insurance found out it would only be 96$ ! They over charge and commit insurance fraud and then give you the run around when you try to get answers ! Be very careful of Barbra the moment you decide you want your medical records the niceness goes out the window ! She literally screamed at me and hung up the phone ! I am one of the sweetest people you will meet ! So after her rudeness I felt I needed to say something ! It’s not right at all how they treat patients ! New name same horrible establishment!! I felt the dentist and the doctor were all nice and professional. The office is located downtown which can be both easy and hard to locate. I am pregnant and run a bit slower than usual. I thought the receptionist was a bit rude an took me being 15 minutes late very personal. I will still go to the dentist but would rather keep it very short with the receptionist. I would give it a 5/5 but the receptionist should be a bit more friendly & understanding.

Im the kind of person that spent 5 years of my life exclusively using Groupons to get my dentistry - bouncing from dentist to dentist with no intention to stay. I finally landed on Walnut Street Smiles and have finally decided to stay! They are truly the BEST. Theyre super friendly, respectful, and fun to chat with. Theyre super fair and upfront about their prices and recommendations. And they go above and beyond to make sure you get what you need. Couldnt recommend more.

I had a wonderful first experience at Walnut Street Smiles. I was drawn to the office by the new patient deal which included a set of whitening trays. I had initially planned to take advantage of the deal and keep shopping around in the future, but after meeting the staff, I have decided I will definitely be returning! Between the friendly and personable front desk staff to one of the most thorough dental exams I have received, I was very impressed. Dr. Sinha and her entire staff are wonderful! I had been putting off an implant due to financial fear and general fear of the process. From start to finish, they helped me through the process. Rather than just hand me a huge estimate with no information, they researched what insurance would cover and then discussed realistic options and the timing of billing, which made it easier to manage financially! Dr. Sinha is so incredibly skilled. Its hard sometimes to handle needles and dental pain, and she made sure I was not in any pain. Im 52 and have seen many dentists over my lifetime, Dr. Sinha is absolutely the best.

I was in the market for a new dentist and saw this practice on groupon. So glad I found them, they are wonderful, customer service is the highest priority, I feel extremely well cared for at Walnut St. Smiles.

I have always been very nervous about trips to any dentist. However I went to Premier Dentistry and was treated by Dr. RAM. I must commend the warm and welcoming staff. They are very knowledgeable with insurance matters. The office is clean and inviting. Dr. Ram did a wonderful job and I must say I immediately felt very comfortable in the chair. I will most certainly recommend this practice to anyone.

This is the best dentist office I’ve been to in Philadelphia. Everyone in the office is very friendly and welcoming. Every visit is great, they remember personal details about you that make you feel welcomed and want to come back, the teeth cleaning process is gentle, and they’re good with appointment reminders.

I was very skeptical about going to this office but after meeting Dr. Shamloo I felt better, she explain what she will be doing. Having a procedure done its better to do it now when I am young now rather than when I get older. I will heal faster now. Trust me I was scared but I left this office feeling better & I would definitely recommend my friends & family to her office. Thank you!

After not having gone to the dentist for 20yrs i went to premier dentistry . There was a lot wrong in my mouth the list was long . Being that i dont have dental insurance expensive too . Dr Ram worked with me at no time did i feel pressured and one by one we got the list done .Now i go four times a year, my choice and ill be keeping my teeth ! I smoke and they get every last bit off. It also is a friendly Environment always feel welcome and i like going to the dentist now ! Highly Recommended !

So you know that anxiety you have when you STEP into a dental office? Lisa (the best hygienist )will make it vanish. Shes so warm and explains everything VERY well. Everyone at the office was nice and the Dr seemed pretty cool and not pushy. Will def go back :)

Ive had my regular checkups plus invisaligns, so Ive been there many times, and every time Im there the staff are professional, friendly, and thorough. Dr. Naomi Ram is excellent. She answers all of my questions and is very kind. The office is very nice too. I highly recommend Premier Dentistry.

Fantastic dental experience. Dr. Ram gave me a new smile and I get compliments all the time. The office is welcoming and is low stress and the staff was very friendly. I loved my dental visits and at no point was I rushed. All questions I had were answered and thoroughly explained. Wow!! For my first check up in over a year, I was a bit nervous. Luckily everyone in the office was so friendly and made me feel like part of their family. Everything went smooth and I felt at ease getting my treatment done, which has not been my experience with my prior dentists. In true Philly fashion Ill be blunt: Im a grown man who had not been to the dentist in four years. So it was with no small amount of trepidation that I walked into Premier Dentistry of Philadelphia expecting a stern scolding at best and 1000 cavities at worst. Luckily, I chose my dentist wisely and ended up having the calmest, most affirmative trip to the dentist of my life. From the friendly greeting at the front desk to the gentle hands that whisked all the coffee stains from my smile, every moment in the chair was extremely comfortable. What did I get? A cleaning, X-rays, a filling retouched, and a professional grade whitening kit that I can use whenever I want. Oh, and a level up in confidence! Before I left, I scheduled another appointment in six months. You know, like a responsible adult who knows exactly where to get the best dental care in Philly. So, to Dr. Shamloo, Erika, and Michele thank you for working your magic.

Im extremely disappointed in Premier Dentistry. I had been using them for about a year and a half in Philadelphia. Although they were out of network, they would submit claims to my insurance, my insurance company would send me a check, and I would pay them for what the insurance covered.Without telling me they changed their policy, the last time I went they charged me out of pocket during my visit. When my insurance did not cover that whole amount (they charge a ridiculous amount for a basic cleaning, much more than what my very good insurance covers), they basically said, too bad, our policy changed. No sympathy for me or the fact that I was out nearly $100 for something I could have gotten for free at a dozen other offices around the city.If they had told me the policy changed i would be okay, but as it was it was rude and Im extremely upset. They were a decent dentist, but nothing spectacular so if theyre willing to screw over their loyal customers like this I wouldnt trust them.Besides, they nearly always ended up talking me into paying for some preventative procedures that insurance doesnt cover out of pocket. They really are money grabbers and nothing else -- Beware! Look for somebody better!

I was a patient at Premier Dentistry for about 2 years. They were always extremely friendly at my appointments although very pushy about getting invisalign as they said my teeth had a slight angle inward and it would cause major problems for me in the future. Meanwhile I had braces as a kid still wear my retainer and have never heard that from any other dentist. Last Decemeber they found a cavity and filled it which I was rather surprised as I had never had a cavity before. My next appointment in June they said they found another cavity. I was about to move so I didnt get it taken care of but today 6 months later when I went to my new dentist in my new state they were unable to find any cavity. Makes me feel like premier dentistry was just trying to rip me off with extra costly procedures.

I was a new patient with this dentist and found the hygienist and dentist both extremely rude and unprofessional. I have teeth that are slightly misaligned and he stated I needed braces to correct. When I think told him that was not an option for me he stated he didnt care what I did but he was a Doctor and had to tell me and he stated I would probably lose all my teeth but then stated I have no cavities and good enamel. A lot of people dont get braces and dont lose their teeth because of it. The hygienist, after probing my teeth with a metal pick that would make the healthiest gum bleed, then tried to tell me I needed costly gum work and that I should floss everyday, which I do, and then when she completed the cleaning she didnt even bother to floss my teeth which every hygienist Ive been to does. I go to the Dentist before I located here every 6 months and never had one problem. I will definitely be finding another dentist and I greatly warn people to not go here.

Dr. Shamloo and his team are amazing. They really care about their patients and it feels almost like seeing family or friends whenever you step into their office. The techs are full of advice on how to improve your oral hygeine and I couldnt ask for a better dentist.

Bait and SwitchI spoke on the phone with them to see if they accepted my insurance; they said yes.I went in for cleaning, exam, etc. and then was charged thousands.Turns out they are out-of-network.Im sure they do good work, but morally they are corrupt.
