WORST!! SALON!!! EXPERIENCE!!! No exaggeration. This is the worst salon I’ve ever been to in my life. I went in for a gel pedicure. The lady doing my toes was so rough and aggressive. She caused me to bleed while she was scraping and peeling off the gel I had on my toes already. I started to feel burning and I looked down and saw that I was bleeding profusely on my big left toe. It was so bad she kept using the towel to wipe off the blood and she put hydrogen peroxide on the deep cut but I had already said I wanted to go! I gave her $20 and left immediately. This place is not clean at all. Imagine if I had stayed she would’ve used nail polish on my bloody toe and that is a hazard! If you care about cleanliness and professionalism please find another salon because this one is NOT IT!

They dont take walk-ins, so call for a reservation. Its definitely worth the effort.

Everyone was very professional and costumer friendly. They acknowledged me as soon as I walked in & asked me if I was there for an appointment or had any questions. It may not sound like thats a big deal but in some establishments Im not even greeted. I highly suggest though that you make an appointment!

This salon is very clean and has nice decor. The nail techs are nice and thorough. Due to covid-19 they only take appointments.

These people are unprofessional. I called a day ahead of time to make appt. I never was acknowledged at all. I waited for 30 mins and after another client asked to be seen an employee finally asked did I have appt. I said yes for 9am. She asked who did I make appt with. I told the woman on phone didn’t ask me that also I called before I arrived to let you guys know I am on my way. The employee told they are all booked so she don’t know if she can fit me. Bad business. After I waited 30 mins. I really wish I can find a black salon!!! Black people don’t use this place.

I Got A Gel Manicure & Pedicure April 15. The Gel Paint On My Nails & Toes All Coming Off I Have Pictures To Prove It. it’s Not Reason Why It Should Be Coming Off & I Got Gel Cause I Want It To Last Longer & I Paid $65 & Tipped This Is Ridiculous. I Will Never Go Back

It was clean and they had a bigger variety of colors and styles than the other nail salon I use to go to. Workers are very friendly. Just a nice environment to be in.

I been here one time loved the girl that did my nails I tried to call and my another appointment and the man that answered the phone was very rude wouldn’t let me make an appointment and also hung up on me I’m never going here again

Im very particular when it comes to my nails. They nail it every time! Im here once every two weeks! In and out service usually. Clean friendly staff that respect you. The Manicure area has a modern up to date look with cozy seating. I love my beautiful Coffin nails 💅🏾

I havent gotten my nails done in years until today. Walked in on a saturday at noon and there wasnt a crazy wait time. Explained to the next available person (Susan) exactly what I wanted as well as showing some pictures for reference. They have many up to date products for the trendy nail styles I see online. The whole experience entirely was relaxing and well worth my time and money. Slightly over priced but beautiful results nonetheless. Asked the price for the refill ahead of time so I will know before I go back.

$48 for regular pedicure & polish and nail gel manicure. Expensive for Philadelphia. I usually spend no more than $30. This was my first time there. My wait was vey long. They had my feet soaking 1hr 23 mins. The water got cold. Amy ended up doing my feet & nails. She did disinfect everything before using on me. She did a good job.

This was the second visit. Broke the skin on my toes both times. On my second visit I noticed that they dont clean the utensils, or equipment between each customer. I was horrified! The sanded my feet, then another technician came over and took it to use it on another customer without changing the pad that still had my skin chips, and whomever before me on it... a woman next to me was finished, they called another person over and just ran new water in the tub, without even cleaning it! If you go there, PLEASE WATCH FOR YOURSELF! YOULL SEE! I will not be going back!

I only had may nails done there twice. The first time was ok . The last time an old lady did them. Instead of removing the gel like normal, she threw a cup acetone on the counter and stuck my fingers in one at a time and used the nail machine on them repeatedly. New comers beware. The nail bed is thin and sore because of her not doing her job correctly.

They do nails good. But unfortunately the lady that did my nails didnt speak English clearly. And they didnt have the color I wanted.

They do nails very well, but it’s crowded and other people have appointments you’ll be waiting a while. I suggest you call the day before so you won’t be waiting 2 and a half hours like I did. Plus they’re open on Sundays. They have wide selection of colors, regular and gel, and the place is clean. They’re a little pricey but not over the top. I’d consider going back.

My mom has been going to this nail salon for over 20 years for the same nail tech ( nancy ) & now me now 20 years old this has been my nail salon as well with the same nail tech .. if your a new customer you wouldn’t understand them, us loyal customers have a bond and everyone in the shop is so nice and gets a long with the customers.. love diamond nails, actually have an appointment tomorrow lol

Very accommodating on scheduling, but once youre in the shop, theres a fee for everything. Prices should be posted. And the sharing of supplies and equipment without sanitizing between customers should be done away with. Finally its clear there is a language barrier, but the help should refrain from gossiping and openly joking about the customers using the assumption that we dont understand them.

The only place I know where the ladies dont do yr nails crooked and sloppy, the ladies at diamond nails are the best

I have never had any problems with service at this nail salon.

I came and a older lady who’s station is the last station in the back she came off very rude. I was very kind and nice to her and I’ll let her know exactly what I wanted several times. This woman botched my nails and proceeded to try to give me pointers on what I should do with my nails. Not only did she make my acrylics thick and lumpy and did not file them accordingly she messed up my toes and my gel polish was lumpy and washed out. I went to the guy who sits in the front and explain to him everything. I let her finish doing her job because I did not want to make a fuss and I was leaving the country the very next day and I had a lot of things to handle that day. She proceeded to argue and yell at me and I told her I am not talking to you. I am talking to your boss. She proceeded to keep trying to explain herself. I said it to her once again in a calm manner. Not only if she disrespectful she proceeded to talk about me while doing my feet and my nails to other employees I know she was talking about me because some of the words she said were in English and it related to my nails. I asked her nicely to stop talking about me. And her and the girl she was talking to quickly got quiet so I know she was talking about me. This place is very overpriced and the service is not up to par I will say most of the lady’s are old and outdated when it comes to shaping in filing nails not only do they nickel and dime you for every single thing. They have a better attitude about it. The owners wife is very nice and she does the best I cannot remember her name but she is the only one I would ever suggest. Other than that I was not suggest anyone go into this please like I said they are very overpriced and some of them have really bad attitudes. You’re in the middle of a impoverished neighborhood so the prices that are being charged are ridiculous. The staff members or old fashion and do not know how to file nails very well I have tried every girl at the salon and the only girls that are decent or the two younger ones. Do not waste your money spend more money and go to a professional establishment where the workers do not talk about you where you spend your money. Black people need to learn to stop patronizing these businesses if they do not want to respect our dollars. Because our dollars matter. After explaining to the boss man everything that happen he offered no solutions he was very apologetic but he could’ve at least offered a discount after I showed him my terrible nails. Do not go here go somewhere where your money is respected black people we must do better. making these people rich if they don’t want to satisfy us with a smile.

Since I stumbled upon Diamond Nails a few years back, I wont go anywhere else! Everyone is friendly and professional and my nails look fabulous when I walk out. I love this salon!

Came in for a gel and polish changes on my toes. They didn’t clean the nail, hacked at my nail in filing, no sealing motion at all. Rude, I felt rushed through with no one in the salon. Sorted my change, the got upset and changed the price like I don’t know how to count. I didn’t make a fuss and let them have it, but the audacity of it all, got forbid I would have asked for the girls ticket slip. Horrible service

I recently went to Diamond nails after leaving another crowed nail salon in the area. That place is no longer a go to place in my book. I was very disappointed with the customer service there. The lady who did my mani/pedi appeared to have an attitude for no reason. There were no posted signs stating they only take cash only. The front desk guy tried to force me to use their ATM machine. It was an all around bad experience. I dont plan on returning and a training in providing positive customer service would not hurt for all of the staff there.
