By far the best leasing experience! Right after touring Solo, I knew we found a new place to call home. Fell in love with the apartment style and our appliances. The location and amenities are to die for! Summer nights on the rooftop created so many memories (our friends are jealous!). The staff at Solo are amazing; their morning greetings just set the tone for our day. The leasing office is always open for greetings and answers, which is a plus. Maintenance has been helpful as well. No small request is overlooked. Thank you for everything Solo!!

The amenities are second to none: 24-hour gym, green roof-top lounge, and study areas on every floor to name a few.By far the most professional leasing office Ive ever interacted.The manager and all his staff will work with you to ensure youre happy and comfortable in the space.They will work with you on leasing terms, amenities, and anything else you need while you stay.Not to mention, the responsiveness of the staff via email, and even texts on the weekend is something Ive never experienced with any other leasing office.SOLO on Chestnut has outdone itself, and is a premier apartment complex that will out-do on-campus housing any day.

I really enjoyed my time at Solo. The amenities were what really sold it for me, It has a nice size gym, the roofdeck has an amazing view of the city, and thankfully there is package storage. The staff was very polite and personable, i had a lot of great conversations with Franco, the maintenance supervisor. Overall, I had a pleasant experience.

Have been here since the building was finished and experienced both old and new management. New management (SOLO) is fantastic -- really responsive and takes care of the building + tenants. I really enjoy living here, amenities are great and management is really helpful with anything you need. Apartments are well-equipped and comfortable; and also-- I have not had a single bug in my apartment ever?? Highly recommend SOLO on Chestnut! :)

The build quality of this apartment is a joke compared to the amount of rent it charges. For $1600 you will get: a barely functional washer-dryer combo that need 4-hour to work, a toilet which does not automatically stop, a tiny dishwasher, a tiny fridge which makes noises all the time, an extremely loud and unreliable air conditioner which never reaches the temperature you want, and a kitchen cabinet light which never really turn on. All of these are in a tiny studio which barely fits any furniture. The provided furniture (cabinet) is also poorly made.

It is apparent that this apartment is built with cheap materials. Everything looks nice when you tour the place, but when you move in you will find out that the appliance quality is inferior. The stainless-steel part has become rusted in only 1 year, and many of the rubber rings in the toilet has shattered into pieces with only normal use. The air from the AC sometimes smells like rotten fish, and it is similar to the extremely noisy AC you get in cheap hotels. The new maintenance guy smokes weed every day during work hours and the maintenance office smells like weed all the time. The management team always forgets about things they have or haven’t done. For a tiny studio over $1650, this place is 100% not worth it. There are many better options in this area, and I won’t recommend SOLO to anyone.

The staff is super friendly & attentive, property is well-maintained and offers great amenities -- rooftop with awesome views, big gym, study & other common areas. Apartments are very well appointed -- contemporary design, lots of storage, dedicated workspace, washer/dryer in unit, etc. Im very pleased and highly recommend the building!

Great place, amenities & staff!!

Stayed there for 1 year. Pros: location, rooftop, parking, sparkling new room, gym. Cons: Room is not spacious, you dont have much space for storage, lack of natural lighting in room. Previous management sucks, but the new management is really great, they even take care of previous tenant! Recommend for people who do not need much storage space.

Can’t say enough good things about living here. The location and rooftop deck are phenomenal. Not to mention, the new management has been a breeze. No phone call or email goes unanswered and they actually care about their tenants. I highly recommend checking the LVL out (especially if you have a dog — very pet friendly building)!!

Had a phenomenal time living in this beautiful residence. Maintence was very nice, fast, and efficient. Living spaces were extremely comfy. 10/10 would recommend to a friend!!

Can’t beat the location and accessibility to campus. The new property management group has been both timely and attentive on addressing any issues. They actually care about their tenants which isn’t too easy to find in this city.

Definitely not worth the rent price. I was one of the first tenants to move in and its been a poor experience. Construction quality is not the best as they had to speed things up to meet the original move in deadline. The vinyl floor panels, for example, are starting to come off the floor, and my kitchen cabinet lighting has never worked. The door frame has warped with the building just enough that I have to shoulder charge into it to get it to open lol (this place was just built last year). The air conditioning units have no dust filters so dust collects in all corners of the room the day after you clean. I used to enjoy the 24 hour gym but now its been transitioned to a tighter 9-5 schedule which is likely to be permanent per the building manager. For the amount spent on rent, this is not a great place to live. 2 stars because the roof top isnt terrible.

The building is super convenient to everything and so easy for me to get to school. Desiree was a breathe of fresh air amongst the managers in the University City area...She made the process so easy to choose my apt!
