I LOVE my hygienist- and I won’t give her name because everyone is going to want to use her. Excuse me….she’s mine. I think Dr. Robert’s is crazy smart and trusts his patients to make the right decisions for themselves. Wonderful experience. Professional, kind, gentle. A bit pricey, though. That’s the only downfall. I’ll always go back.

I transitioned to Dentists on The Square a few years back, and I have been happy and satisfied ever since! The staff is very welcoming and attentive. They are sensitive to your concerns, will sit and discuss why those concerns are occurring, and will come up with a plan that best fits your needs! Even if I had a dental issue that seemed small, they were patient and kind when finding a solution! I highly recommend choosing this dental practice!

I have been going to them for the past 2+ years. I hadn’t been to the dentist in 10+ years and was extremely nervous and embarrassed. They made me feel comfortable and didn’t make me feel bad at all! I’ve had one cavity filled and it was painless, several cleanings and a deep clean and it’s always a wonderful experience. Everyone is friendly and professional. The place is extremely clean. I have also never had to wait. I highly recommend them for your dental care.

Dr. Patel is simply the best. He explains everything in detail and is always very respectful of my time. If you’re looking for a dentist that won’t keep you waiting all day, look no further. 10 stars everytime.

I started going to this location quite some time ago, almost 3 years previously and then lost contact. I came back to the location last year, and the way in which they have handled services throughout the pandemic has been amazing. All the staff is incredibly kind and professional, especially in regards to sudden schedule changes and making sure you are aware of upcoming appointments. I receive text and call correspondence for all questions and upcoming appointments which is amazing. My doctor (Patel) is very efficient with all procedures performed, especially with me now having braces.

The best dentists in town by far! Dr. Roberts is amazing and focuses on everything being totally pain-free. I’ve had cleanings, fillings, crowns, whitening, and even began my invisalign treatment here, and it’s always been a great experience.

We love this dental practice and recently made the switch for the whole family, including our 3 year old. Dr. Patel is awesome! While you may not think having a “cool” dentist matters, not only does he have amazing bedside manner, he is caring and incredibly knowledgeable. Plus the staff is equally top notch. Highly recommend this practice!

Dr. Patel is very knowledgeable and professional. He does impeccable work, especially his crowns they look natural. During the height of the pandemic my tooth cracked. I had no where to go. He restored my smile, you would never be able to tell which tooth is crown.

I have been going to DOTS for about 3 years. I have had two different dentists in that time, which is fine. However, their billing department continuously sends me a bill for PPE charges. When you call to inquire, they tell you to not worry about paying it. Patients beware!

The most professional, kindest, smartest, patient (gentle), and experienced dentists and clinical support staff you will ever meet. The facility is also modern and has just been renovated. I cannot recommend enough. No offense to any dentists, but I hate going to the dentist but Dentists On the Square is the only place I will go - no other place and staff like it.

The best dentists I’ve ever had, they’ve done complicated dental work for me and it’s been well done with a minimum of pain. The folks in the office are always helpful and communicative. It was a good experience. Kate, The dental assistant explained everything before and as she was completing steps of impressions after an implant. I have a rough time with X-rays and usually gag. I did not experience any unpleasant gagging. Kate is wonderful. The others are excellent, too: Adam Getreu did an amazing implant.

Dentists on the Square is excellent! They are extremely knowledgeable and take the time to provide thorough explanations and helpful information. They are always emotionally supportive, especially with anxiety before or during your appointment. They are accepting and nonjudgmental. And the dentists and dental hygienists are extremely talented! I have been able to avoid a crown and an onlay thus far because Dentists on the Square was able to do fillings instead! They have also fixed previous fillings that were poorly done by other dentists. Dentists on the Square is in a great location and from my experience, seems queer friendly. I would recommend Dentists on the Square to anyone seeking dental work!

I went for a dental cleaning. I didn’t know the place but I believed the reviews (which now I think may be old) and they carried my insurance. I was surprised when I walked in.The waiting room was not clean and the chairs, tables and floor felt gross. Not one of the employees was wearing N95 masks, the place was not ventilated and didn’t have air filters for covid - just plexiglass pannels which do nothing.Some employees were wearing their masks down. I had to wait 40 minutes to be attended only to be told that my insurance plan didn’t cover the cleaning. I could pay out of pocket, of course, but after wasting my time and experiencing a dirty place and unprofessional treatment I decided to walk away.I waited a week for the appointment and had to get time from my job. They had an abundance of time to inform me about my plan’s lack of coverage, yet they never did.I noticed they implement a policy of charging for not-show appointments or late cancellations, yet they are insulting with respect to other’s people time.If you want a dirty office, unprofessional treatment and potentially get covid…this is your place!

Ive been going to Dentists On The Square, for 5 years and refuse to go anywhere else. Ive had Root Canal, Implants, Crowns, etc. They do beautiful work! I see Dr. Patel, but have seen other dentists there too. Their all very good and everyones so nice. From the receptionist, to Bonnie who handles the insurance. Dentists on the Square is great. Ive had a lot of work done, and they are by far the best practice Ive been to. They are preventative in mindset, which makes a huge difference to minimize issues before they are large scale problems. The team collaborates and they are very attentive. And now I walk out after a cleaning with much whiter teeth! My hygienist is amazing!

Everyone was extremely pleasant to deal with, especially the hygienist, Sam. However, I was scheduled with the lead dentist, Dr. Robert’s, but was switched to another Dentist because he was too busy.I developed a feeling that they were trying to up-sell additional services throughout the session.The worst thing was that I was quoted a fee of $498, but was billed, without explanation, $594. When I asked about it I was told Sam had to do extra cleaning. No mention was made at the time. This is no way to treat customers.

Love this place and love the people even more. They keep my teeth in the best of shape and never have I had a cavity. I feel safe as well since the pandemic started.

I got my wisdom teeth extracted with Dr. Roberts & Vince & it was the smoothest experience I’ve ever had. I highly recommend them, they’re extremely knowledgeable & truly the sweetest ever! It sounds crazy but you’ll actually look forward to going to the dentist. They made sure I was comfortable, pain free, and knew exactly what was going on the entire time, which I appreciate.

Everyone at Dentists on the Square has been super friendly and helpful, from the receptionists to the dental hygienists. After not having insurance and not going to the dentists for years, my teeth were in bad shape. Dr. Patel has helped me get back on track with developing a good dental care routine and has been working on completing my fillings. Now they are asking folks to fill out a wellness form before coming in, taking your temperature, staggering appointments, and cleaning each room thoroughly between patients. I felt very safe. 10/10 recommend.

Painless and clean emergency visit, easy recovery

My first appointment at DOTS was pretty incredible. I had a traumatic experience at my last dentist three years ago that resulted in my 1) developing severe anxiety around going to the dentist and 2) me putting off my dental health for a while. Everyone at DOTS was incredible and super supportive. Shoutout to the hygienist and dentists there that get their patients through the appointments with humor and professionalism. I think I might actually look forward to the dentist now!

Im new to the Rittenhouse neighborhood having relocated from Boston for work. Finding a new dentists is never easy! For someone who has a decent amount of anxiety about dental visits, I couldnt have been more pleased with Dr. Patel at Dentists On The Square. He was thorough in reviewing my dental history, took time to outline my move forward oral health plan and make sure I was comfortable with his recommendations. I really appreciate his thoughtful approach to preventative care! I dont write reviews or recommend services often. However, I know how difficult it can be to find trustworthy, qualified and excellent dental care.

I recently changed dentists due to mydentist of 45 years retiring and started my care at Dentist on the Square. I needed a molar extracted and an implant put in. So far this experience has been amazing. Dr. Getreu was excellent. He explained everything, communicated throughout the process, was completely professional. The support staff was exceptional. I had no complications, healed beautifully (unlike prior dental experiences). We are almost done this process and I intend to continue with this office for my routine care.

I really enjoyed my cleaning visit. My hygienist and Dr. Sultan were great and I felt very comfortable. Lots of safety precautions were taken. Would recommend!

The experience i had at dentists on the square was seamless and delightful. The staff was very attentive, the office was extremely clean, and Dr Joe Roberts is an exceptional dentist. I had some sensitivity on my back left tooth and he identified the problem and was able to make a crown in just one visit (usually takes two but dentists on the square has an in house same day lab)! I highly recommend Dr Roberts and the entire staff at dentists on the square!

He and his asst checked in often during my procedure to make sure I was doing ok. Bonnie, who handles insurance matters is amazing. She went above and beyond to handle issues with my changing insurance plans. Receptionists are equally friendly and helpful!

The back of my tooth sheared off and I ended up needing a root canal. Dr. Barenji did the root canal and with the exception of the initial shots to numb the gum and tooth, the procedure was painless. He explained everything as he was doing it and there was absolutely stress free. The whole evaluation and procedure was done in an hour. I am so glad I go to this practice.

One of my fillings fell off so came in for a consultation. Was pushed a root canal before they even took x-rays. Dr Pasalic examined the tooth and also pushed for a root canal (which they dont do at the clinic). Charged me a few hundred for the x rays and referred me to an endodontist to do a root canal that would cost $1500 with no work done to my tooth and the area still exposed. I had 2 other dentists examine the tooth and both confirm I do not need a root canal and the other dentist fixed my tooth the same day of my consultation. Im not sure if my case is an exception but there are a few other reviews that reflect similar experiences of DOTS pushing unnecessary dental work which is against the Hippocratic oath.

Dentists on the Square makes getting your teeth cleaned an enjoyable experience! They are so accommodating with scheduling and are mindful not to bombard you with reminder calls. I have never had to wait - I’m always taken straight back for my appointment and am in and out! I highly recommend Dentists on the Square.

This practice changed ownership a little over a year ago and I have only positive things to say about the new regime. The reception staff, the billing staff, the dental hygienists and the dentists are all friendly, courteous and professional. During the appointment, there is no rushing. Questions are answered in a timely manner if you call or email the practice. I recently moved my teenagers here from the pediatric practice they had gone to for years and they both commented on the difference. Every patient is treated as important. I highly recommend this practice.

My experience thus far has been phenomenal. The professionalism and care is unmatched. Dr. Patel is very kind, attentive to detail, and mindful of important things like cost and pain. My hygienist (Becky I think) was great, she told me a bunch of dental tips I knew nothing about and was very sensitive and normalizing regarding my embarrassment surround my lapse in dental care. Dr. Joe Roberts is extremely capable and, quite simply, exudes a calming know-how which lets you know youre in great hands. Recently had a fairly complex dental procedure done which I was somewhat dreading, but he and his dental assistant staff made the experience a breeze. The one caveat Id offer is to make sure you have your insurance payment information confirmed and get a quote before your procedure. Two-gums up, however!
