Ive been in living in Philadelphia for 10 years now and can confidently say there is no better place to get your haircut. Not only do they give the best cuts in the city, but the vibes are perfect. I get there early on purpose so I can sip on some nice whiskey on a comfy leather couch while I wait. Theres a reason this place has 5 stars on google reviews - if youre a man who has hair on the top of his head, you should come check this place out. And if youre bald, no need to feel left out - you should come too. They have this thing called the Tokyo Head Spa, which is out of this world. Basically, an hour long head massage w/ neck/shoulders/hands too. All of the stylists are excellent, but I highly recommend Liane - theres a reason her schedule gets completely booked 3 weeks in advance!

DAPR is the premier place in Philly, and probably the east coast, for men’s high end haircuts. Josh is the owner and a heavyweight in the business. He has literally won international competitions! Seem like overkill? Depends on how good you want to look I guess…

I went here last week for my first haircut in months. I was trying a new place and wanted to try a little different style. Liane was my barber and she was excellent. She talked through my hairstyle with me, took her time and was pleasant and friendly. The parlour itself was neat and clean and had a nice vibe to it. The experience overall was very good and I have already got a lot of positive feedback about my haircut. I would highly recommend giving this place a try. Just make sure to book and appointment ahead of time.

I can confidently say that there’s no better place to get cut in the city. You can tell that all the barbers are passionate about their craft and work to create a professional and friendly atmosphere. Personally, I’ve been going to Liane for the last 4 years and can’t recommend her enough. If you’re in the city, definitely hit them up!

Cool looking shop in Center City. I got no complaints on the haircut. Vibes are very new barbershop feel. Sounds like a lot of regulars come back when I was waiting for my cut.

DAPR is awesome. The decor and aesthetic of the parlor is great. Liane cut my hair and she did a fantastic job. She also gave me advice on products and different ways to style and grow my hair as well. This was my first time attending, and I was very impressed. Will be coming back for any follow-up cuts. Evan gave me a very good experience at DAPR. I didnt know DAPR was appointment ONLY(I dont live in the area) but evan came over and was able to squeeze me in a gap he had which was great. The cut was great and high quality. -1 star only because I think 55$ is steep for a buzz cut, which is what I got

Been a client of owner Josh DeMarco for a few years, now with his own parlour I highly recommend going to see them. Made the switch to him from a barber I was going to since 2 after my wife arranged to have cut my hair for my wedding. Best haircuts I’ve ever had, he is also a great guy. Guaranteed you won’t be disappointed. The shop setup is also very cool to visit.

Best spot for a mens cut, trust me I lived in the city my whole life, been to alot of shops, this place does it correct. Great conversations with all members of the staff. Ive been going to Josh DeMarco for over 3 years and couldnt be more thrilled to find out that hes opened up his own place. Josh is not only great at what he does (you can clearly see his passion for hair come through in his work), but hes also a great guy. As soon as I walked up the stairs at DAPR for my first cut, I knew id like it. The atmosphere has a throwback vibe with cool interior design with large windows overlooking Sansom and 18th. When I came upstairs I was immediately greeted and offered something to drink. Everyone was super friendly but yet laid back and clearly just as passioned about their work as Josh is. I cant wait to go back.
