My AC recently went out, in the middle of a heatwave. By the time I had my appointment with Summers Quality Services, I had already gotten a few estimates, knew what was wrong (the compressor died) and felt like I had a ballpark idea of what needed to happen and what I needed to pay.To be fully balanced in this review, if there are any areas of improvement with Summers Quality Services, its their promptness and that admin needs a bit of an upgrade. After being told the technician would be out by 10am at the latest, he was definitely a solid 40 mins late.But, I feel Summers Quality Services strengths definitely outweigh their challenges. The technician, Rich, explored the most cost effective and smallest repairs thoroughly first, and actually did NOT give me an answer right there, instead saying he needed to give the information to the owner to research a bit more.Later on, John, the owner, called me directly and explained that they needed to replace the whole unit. They ordered one quickly and even offered to come out to my place ON A SUNDAY, at NO EXTRA CHARGE. John said they were booked three weeks in advance, but it was a pretty simple job (3 hrs) and he knew it was hot out, so he was willing to do it. THAT is customer service, folks.John and another technician came out on Sunday and were prompt (fair is fair) and did a thorough and efficient job removing the old unit and installing the new one. They explained everything they were doing and even programmed my thermostat for me.And on top of this stellar customer service, Summers offered the fairest price by far (HALF what the first company quoted me.)I would highly recommend Summers Quality Services. They are courteous, fair, trustworthy, and really good at what they do.

Unprofessional. The company is family owned and the younger kids took over a few years back. They have no concept of good customer service or customer retention. They also do not have all the necessary equipment needed to do the job and they rent equipment and pass the cost on to the customer!

We used Summers for electrical and plumbing projects for a rental home that we were getting ready to sell. The office staff was very responsive: it was refreshing to call a business that answers the phone and follows up on what they say they are going to do. We received quotes in a timely manner, and the electrical and plumbing employees showed up to do the jobs as promised and were professional.

Zero (0) or Negative stars are needed for this company! Stay the hell away!! I needed a mini-split ductless system installed. They missed initial meeting, then when I called back, they just sent an electrician who did not know what he was doing. I was told I would get a quote the next business day. No response. Called back letting them know that I got the electrical part taken care of and just needed the HVAC work done. They said they would get back to me the same day. NO RESPONSE. Horrible client relation skills and a COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME AND ENERGY! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!! I do not know how they are still in business.

Can speak to plumbing - Matt who came was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and efficient. Determined the issue, worked quickly to get our broken toilet replaced (including buying parts that same day). Could not have asked for him to do anything differently than he did.

My husband began using Summers Quality Services to install a boiler in our church12 years ago. Their annual maintenance service is detailed and well done. We were so pleased with their service we used them to install a boiler in our home 7 years ago. Today was the first time we used their plumbing service and were not disappointed. Their service crew always arrives on time. They are knowledgable, friendly and willing to inform and advise their customers. I would strongly recommend this company.

We appreciated the fast response to our plumbing problems but it was a bigger problem and more money than we expected. The crew was very respectful and neat and did good quality work. We will definitely use Summers again! Hopefully nothing else will break anytime soon ☺

The guys from Summers arrived on time, and completed the installation of a new heat pump for our third floor faster than I had expected. They did a great job-- the work was high quality and they cleaned up what little mess they made prior to leaving. The price for the work was fair, and they didnt charge me for all the time they spent trying to fix the original unit, before recommending that it be replaced.

Have been using Summers heating and air-conditioning for my heating air-conditioning and electrical needs since mid 90s. Had a scheduled electrical project for today January 31.Came home and had no heat .On the coldest day of the year had two electrical gentleman here to do the job and one of their heating technicians to fix my heater. Summers quality service is not just the name it’s how I would describe their company. Thanks guys great job again

I had two tubs snaked. Kyle realized something was loose on one and fixed it without hesitation. The prices are reasonable as well.I highly recommend Summers. Kyle was great! The only reason they didnt get five stars was because they were late and I had to call them for an update. Other than that, Kyle was awesome. They are now my new HVAC and plumbing company.

Gary and Steve were fantastic. They were very accommodating, and happy to let our 2year old inspect their HVAC work! The job turned out to be quicker than they expected so it came in almost 50% less than they had quoted without me even asking. Was so happy I have their plumbers coming out on Monday for another job.

John was great. He came out and diagnose d the problem with my AC duct. Came back later and fix the problem. In addition he was very personable and delightful to deal with.

The installers did a professional, quality job and were very patient with our dogs, but there is something that needs to be addressed. This should have been a quicker, easier install but due to lack of communication between the workers and the office, they did not have the right part(s) on hand. They were misinformed by the office. Please try to resolve this as now there is another customer who did not receive service today and thats not acceptable.Thanks guys. The A/C will be very much appreciated over the next couple of days.Bryan M

I live in a very old house with a very old oil heating system. For years winters were a njghtmare with the heater shutting on and off. One call to Summers a year ago, made winters warm and cozy. After almost 2 years, yesterday saw some smoke.Panicing I called Summers and Mike can out, cleaned the furnace and exhaust system and I am warm and cozy once again 🙌🏽. Seriously, the best repair experiences Ive had with my home.

I highly recommend Summers. They have fixed multiple problems in my home (Water Heater, Sump Pump, Laundry Connectors) and are great to work with. They show up on time, call you when they are close by, and available in case of emergencies. Their employees are well trained and do high-quality work.

I have been using and been impressed with Summers for ten years. And last week, I met Matt Bryman. He is their crown jewel!!! He spent four days figuring out and then repairing a broken pump in my home. He is an expert in his field, had a brilliant bed-side manner as he gave me hard to hear updates, but he was invest as I was as finding and fixing my plumming issue. I can not say enough about him. I have made it clear to Summers that any plumming issue I want Matt. Matt is the silver lining in any plumming issue.

Summers is always responsive. Called at 5:30 pm pm on a very cold Friday to report no heat and someone (John, very nice) was there at 10:30 the next morning to fix everything. We have a very old system and Summers services it twice a year.

Our handyman was unbelievable, very good at his job fixed everything we needed.He put our new desk together very nicely, was quick and very thorough.Great service!

The gentleman that installed our heating/cooling system did an excellent job.

DO NOT USE!! They arrived to service my compressor that was making a loud grinding noise. The tech took down info on the compressor along with measurements for some duct work to install.I get a call to say the tech was on the way and Oh by the way, the wrong duct work came in so we can only do the compressor. STRIKE 1! If they did their job like they were supposed to, they would have recognized the wrong duct work came in and reached out sooner instead of while they were on the way.The tech arrives and not long after that something was up. He finally breaks the news that he HAD THE WRONG COMPRESSOR! STRIKE 2! Not only did they not check my duct work, they never checked the compressor either.I reach out to the office and spoke to a woman who said the right things. She was empathetic and told me it wasnt right and she would reach out to her bosses because I asked for a discount on the job. After all they are in customer service and it is the least they could do for their colossal screw up.I get a call from a guy from the office and he told me Well my supplier wont give me any money back so I wont give you any money back. THATS A BIG STRIKE 3! How on earth can a person with a conscience say something like that? I didnt order the wrong duct work. I didnt order the wrong compressor. I didnt wait till the last second to notify the customer. Yet I am the one who has to take 2 days off because of their incompetence. I asked to speak to the owner because I THOUGHT a business owner worth their salt would be shocked by the way I was treated.Not only did the owner John defend the actions of his company, he flat out said, We also dont want you as a customer. The unmitigated gaul of him to tell ME that he didnt want my business. He needs a thicker skin if me holding his feet to the fire was to much for him to bare. Let that be a lesson to new customers. If they screw up, bite your tongue, have them fix it, and the scorch the earth on social media. They have no idea what the internet is.
