Absolutely unprofessional. I paid $267 for 100 gallons of oil. they came out they put 10 gallons in and said that my whistle wasn’t working I didn’t notice until 3 days later . I notified them That my whistle was working and that is very faint so they came back out. the second attempt they said that my fuel tank was cracked and leaking oil and only put 14 gallons in.I asked for a refund. I called another company who came and filled it the same day With no problems. when I looked at my refund it was $130 which means they charge me 137 for the two unsuccessful Fills. I called to complain and they told me I had to pay $35 for each of the deliveries because I didn’t get the full 100 gallons I ordered on to of the 24 gallons I received.
Ive been a Cardinal customer for about 3 years now, and have always had good service and prices from them. Theyre always able to find my information right away when I call, and have always been very responsive. They were even able to deliver a day earlier than expected recently.
BEWARE - On two occasions, the price I was charged was higher than the quoted price. The first time this happened, I called and was essentially told I was wrong. The next time, I asked them to repeat the quote to make sure I heard it correctly. Again, I got charged $0.20 per gallon more. Never again.
I have never actually written a poor review online but after my interaction here I was compelled to write this. If I could give no stars I would.I will say that for about a year and a half I had no problems with this supplier. But towards the end of 2013 and into 2014 I had nothing but issues with trying to get the payments set up correctly with this supplier. I had set my account up with automatic delivery but for some reason in 2014 I kept getting invoices instead of having the account charged automatically per their automatic delivery agreement. I had to call four separate times for four separate deliveries to get the payment set up to my credit as per agreement for invoices I should not have been getting. Finally the last delivery I had in February I gave up, called Cardinal and decided instead of continuing with automatic delivery it would be less hassle for me to just write out a check and just control the deliveries so that I would not get charged any late fees for deliveries I didnt know about (since they could not seem to charge my credit card correctly per the automatic delivery agreement). Now I have moved out of my place and they said that I was still on automatic delivery and only changed the payment type even though on the agreement there is no other payment type available for this type of service except credit card. The only thing they could do was offer me a ~$44 discount on a $316 delivery which I will not even be using!I will never work with Cardinal Fuel again and will definitely be telling everyone I know that if they need oil, it just shouldnt be done with Cardinal.
I hope they dont work like they drive. Truck driver decided to pull a uturn in the middle of a road and drove across two peoples lawns, damaging the grass. They then proceeded to run a stop sign AND a red light with no concern for the cars that were in the intersection.
Okay customer service.
This company is horrible. Theyre rip offs... They dont give you what you pay for. Had to report them to Action news Philadelphia. The worst service ever. STAY AWAY!!!!👎👎👎😖😖😡😡
The one thing you do have to call the day before but Ive had times when I forgot and they were able to squeeze me in not always but when its been important
They had what I needed
