I needed my nails fixed and yellow roses and butterflies put on for my mom that had just passed away. Thry completely redid my nails and made them look better than they have in months.

Bro I love this place. I have not had my nails done (professionally) since prom 11 years ago. Except for last month, I decides to start getting them done again. I stopped at a place in Columbus and had the worst experience ever. My nails were uneven and bumpy, the color was terrible and even my daughter who got her nails done for the first time did not like the experience. I was hesitant about going anywhere else but I decided I would try a salon closer to my house in Alabama. Well, the one I stopped at was full and I didnt want to wait because I had to work so I drove across the street to Star Nails and its like it was meant to be. The staff was amazing, very sweet people even their son is really sweet. It is a nice environment so calm and relaxing. Me and my daughter loved our pedicures and I love my full set. This is the first time I ever got gel and I will always use gel from now on. They really took their time and my nails look amazing oh, I will always come here now.

Every time I got in here it’s always a clean and welcoming place. The husband and wife who own this place are amazing people and they do excellent work. I have never had a complaints about the services I have received here. Definitely recommend for great quality at an awesome price !

First off I went in and ask if the older gentleman still worked there and the guy with tattoos down his arm at the first table to the right as you go in said in broken English I not hire old people, old men no good but old women are ok...I thought that was extremely rude...so I knew I didnt want him to do my nails...so they send me to the guy at the front table to the left and the fill in was fine but when it came to painting it wasnt his strong area...as I looked around there are nails and dust all over the floor it was gross...then the icing on the cake was when he turned the TV to a music video channel and the language was not appropriate for a nail salon with people and children present! Will never go back...not relaxing more like a club with nail polish! Sorry not sorry

Very good nail shop. Brian the best.I love them. Only thing I dont like is that they say they open at 11 but never opens at 11. I done sat over a hr waiting on them to open cause I only let them do my nails. You leave and come back it always be packed. Time need to be changed to a definite time. Specially for people who travel to get their nails done.

Overpriced majorly (or they overpriced me personally cause i can go to Columbus and pay $40 for dip powder but wanted to give them a chance since they are closer to my house) and my nails weren’t even anywhere. On the top, the sides, and the bottom. Won’t ever go back and do not recommend if you’re looking for dip powderEdit to add: the younger guy with sleeves (nothing wrong with it i have one too) was the one to do my nails, had three pop off the next day. Do what you want with this, but i weight lift 6 days a week and bartend, I’ve never had any nails come off that fast.

I was looking for somewhere to get my nails done and the reviews led me here. I must say I was not disappointed. Brian did a good job on my nails and he was patient although I changed my mind 1000 times. Very friendly and reasonably priced. I will be returning👍🏾

I’ve been going here since I was 16 (18 now) and I’ve never had a problem with my nails. Hardly ever a wait even on weekends, and the staff is just always friendly. They always look excited to see me and my little sister.

I was referred to this salon by my co worker at first I was hesitant to go because I never been to this particular salon but I called at 2 in the afternoon and asked if there was someone (particularly Brian) available to do my nails around 5:30-6 ... when I went it was pretty easy to find I was greeted right away and once I sat down Brian asked me how I wanted my nails I showed him a picture and he exceeded my request I got acrylic coffin shaped nails and he was by far on point with the shape... previous nail shops I’ve been too where a few nails were off shaped but he did an amazing job... we sat there talking it wasn’t that awkward silence I found out he just took over the shop a month ago and he is still fixing giving the shop a makeover ... y’all should definitely see go see him 👌🏽

It I could give zero stars that would be my rating. I went in about 2 weeks ago, to get a full set and my nails turned out exactly how I wanted but about a week ago my middle finger started to get infected and now my whole nail is starting to come off. The nail tech kept cutting my cuticles and I’m sure the tools were not clean. I will never go back.

Brian and his wife are absolutely amazing! My sister and step mom went in. After seeing their nails, I was blown away. You couldn’t even tell a difference in the picture my sister showed and what Brian made happen. The very next day, I went in and requested exactly what my sister had gotten and I have never been happier with the way my nails have turned out. Not to mention Brian, his wife and precious son are the absolute sweetest!! It’s safe to say I have found my new nail home!

I literally use to have nails popping off after 1 week of getting them done, or uneven, too thick, little nicks from filing..but not with Brian!! He provides GREAT service!! His work is perfection!! Ive been going to this nail salon on and off for 3 years. Now that its the closest to my house this is my go to place in phenix city. Its currently under a new owner which I find to be very nice and professional. The staff are all very professional and friendly. Anyone close by I highly recommend giving this location a try!!

New Owners Brian & Lily are awesome. They took over the salon recently. They have a family of their own and are kind people. They are honest and trying to make a living just like the rest of us. I walked in and Brian fixed my nails for me that I had done at a different salon the day before but the prior salon was closed. I visited Star Nails for the first time today and felt very comfortable from the time I walked in. I called ahead to see if they were taking appointments and was immediately put on the schedule. When I walked in the atmosphere was very nice and the salon was very clean. I was greeted by everyone and didn’t have to wait long to be seated for a pedi. The pedi was AMAZING, best I’ve had in a very long time. AJ took his time and gave an awesome massage. Brian did a wonderful job on my nails while making me feel very comfortable the entire time. Also, his wife did a great job on my nail design. I will definitely be going back and would recommend them to anyone.

If I could give no stars that would be my rating. I asked for a classic french tip pedicure with a pink flower and green leaves on my big toe. I got an uneven thick line on one a thin line on the other. Then she drew a white flower (which was 4 dots) and blue squiggly something on the side. Nit to mention I was there 2 hours with no one ahead of me. They just left me there with feet in cold water while they waited on other people until the ONLY person that claimed to know how to do designs was available. What a waist of time and money. I will never go back. No wonder they only have a score of 80%. Terrible business.

I took my sister for her first pedicure, and she and I really enjoyed it! Nice people, relaxing, and excellent service! My feet were really bad from wearing saddles all the time and they looked MUCH better when I left! I would definitely recommend them and go again!

I had on a set for 3 weeks that I got took off, it gutted really bad when he took them to the point I did not want any nails on I should listen to my mind. When they did my nails really wide I was unpleased! Lastly when they did my feet I paid $27 and my feet didn’t even get scraped with the thingy. If you ask me go somewhere else👎.

I walked in on Saturday with my two daughters at 6:22 p.m. and I guess since they were about to close at 7, they were not happy about it. We stood in there for about 5 minutes (because three of the five chairs for waiting were full of Oreo crumbs) with no acknowledgement. I made eye contact with two of the three employees, and still they never asked if they could help us so we left and will NEVER go back. I go there because its two minutes away from my house. But I dont mind driving a little further to feel appreciated

My mom and i came here to get our nails done while im in town visiting. and it was amazing. i have been to so many nail salons in the phenix city / columbus area and this has been the best one by far. i highly recommend coming here.

Took my granddaughter with me to get our nails done Saturday and it should have been a relaxing experience. But far from it because the staff lets this little 3 year old boy run absolutely hog-wild in there and will not correct him. I ended up with chocolate smeared all over my pants because he wanted to use my lap as his personal playground and I couldnt get rid of him without being extremely rude. Later during the drying wait he let out one blood curdling screech after another and nobody corrected him. I will NOT be back!!!!

This place is awful wish I could give it no stars. I literally just left the place and the bottom of my feet and side look like I never been. They didn’t scrap the dead skin off even after I repeatedly asked them to do so. They said that price would be more. Never will I ever go again. Their kids are always running around and jumping on you. Very unprofessional!!! Save your money go see Kelly at Ladonia nails, her and her husband is great!!!

I enjoyed this place. The tech who did my nails was detailed with shaping which is hard to find someone who wont speed thru a client. I will use him from here on out and he was gentle enough on my hands as well. I tend to get burned a lot by nail techs and that wasnt the case from him. I believe his name is Chuong, Im sorry if I spelled it wrong, forgive me. I shall be returning soon. Thanks guys!!

Becky and her sister are nice do a good job most of the time. But the older guy do a bad job on, my nails every time he never finish my manicure. Always have to tell him to finish. I get the dip powder and i always have to tell them to put it all over the nail or my nail will chip on the side. Been with them for years, time to move on. They just dont take the time no more. Rush rush

The health department score is 80, they use same foot and nail files on everyone. She did not do a good job on my heals. She rushed faster than I have ever had my nails done before so they don’t look awesome. If you need a close place to get them done in Ladonia and don’t care about the details this might work for you. Little staff so long waits if they are already working. I would not go again and would go back to the other place in Ladonia instead.
