Got acrylic nails for the first time here, the second I walked in the door I was getting my nails done. Very gentle and kind even complimented my nail color choice. Loved it ❤️

Just got my nails done at Sun Nails in Petersburg, VA. All these guys were either on their phones the entire time or checking their phones every other minute. Which of course added more time to the service. At the end I was charged $40 for acrylic nails when their sign clearly says $30. The young man claims because I had them rounded instead of square, which made no sense at all. Then they didnt want me to use my card to pay, so I had to get cash from the ATM that all these places have installed in their shops which cost an extra $2. Will NEVER return. These people have become rip off artists and thiefs, while offering substandard products and services. If could give them less than a 1 I would. DONT GO THERE!!!

Went in to get a simple acrylic overlay, tech had to add two tips to make them the same length as my other nails, nails came out really short, shorter than my original, I asked for a natural shape, they’re box shaped, acrylic doesn’t go all the way to the cuticle, so they’ll need to be filled sooner, and polish wasn’t even done all the way to the end of the acrylic. Charged me $40.... I’m just at a loss as to why.

Went for a simple fill in. No nail replacement. Rush job & nails look HORRIBLE!! Never again will i come to this business.. South Park mall here i come

One word unsanitary I could type a whole paragraph but all I’m gonna say is DO NOT GET A PEDICURE HERE! They’re simply not clean from the things they use even down to the tub

This place is responsible for giving my mother a fungal infection in her foot. This infection has caused my mom to have to go to the doctor who in turn sent her to a podiatrist who stated that she indeed had a fungal infection caused by unsanitary conditions....... Apparently this isnt the first incident that has occurred at this establishment. My mother stated that her doctor informed her to call the health department and let them know what happened to her so that they can go investigate. This was two weeks ago, and Im not sure if the health department has looked into this matter or not. Be it as it may. The health department doesnt have to investigate because Im going to send all of the local news investigation teams over to SUN NAILS ON CRATER RD 3330 SOUTH CRATER RD!!!!!

This a good place depending upon which person you get to do your pedicure. Some of them are too rough for me. Never had a manicure before there.

Went to get my nails done yesterday & they lifting today $45 gone down the drain . My nail tech out the country I want ur nails done right go to nail art & ask for tommy . Sun nails need to close down. The lady did my nails cant shape nor polish .. I hate it here

This would have been 1 star, however my sisters fill-in looked great and was shaped nicely. My experience on the other hand was unsatisfactory. I was seated in a broken massage chair that was also unable to move up which was uncomfortable because I’m short.The woman who started my pedicure was not confident, she almost clipped my skin (clipped my nail too low), was not attentive and when filing shaped my toe nails unevenly. I was constantly on edge, so much so, that I asked her to end the session prematurely in fear that the second half of my pedicure would be worse. I still wanted to give the shop a chance so I agreed to get a gel manicure done by someone else. This person was slightly more attentive and more personable. The gel manicure was mediocre and less than an hour later some nails were peeling where he had gotten too close to the cuticle. Maybe, my experience was an anomaly... but I will not be going back to this place and I’ve advised my family and friends to spend their dollars elsewhere.

This is the most UNSANITARY establishment that I have ever visited. I only went there because I was short on time. My daughter got her nails done. When we got in the car, she noticed that the gel polish had not been fully applied to some of her nails. Obviously, I returned to the shop. They insulted me by offering a $1 discount when I insisted that I didnt have time to wait for them to correct the $30 mess they made! Needless to say, I left with a $5 discount....NEVER TO RETURN AGAIN!!

Tyler took really good care of me I have had a really difficult time finding a salon that wont treat you like an idiot or wasting their time why asking questions or addressing your concerns I will definitely make sure I recommend sun nails to all of my friends

Been coming here for years and still love coming here to get my nails done. The only busy times is when its a holiday coming up, but overall, you usually dont need to wait.

Nail came out horrible she didn’t not do a good job I’ve never gotten my nails done so fast like this experience before nothing on my nails are neat showed her two pictures to see if she could do it and she couldn’t $50 was not worth this getting done

The guy that did my nails did a terrible job. They were so sloppy and raised so far off my original nail that I had to soak them in acetone to remove them after he got done. Then they charged me 40$ and I still left with no nails

This place should not be allowed to touch anyones eyebrows. Youd be better off doin them at home .

If you want 1day worth of nails and crappy customer service. I got my nails done on Saturday and by Sunday night they were all lifting. I call on Monday to resolve the issue and they told me to come in. I came in and the nail techs said theres no way my nails couldve came off and I had to pay them again before I could get another set.

Pedicure was ok. Could not communicate with the attendant well to get the right service after the person started. The attendant hovered when I paid to ensure a tip. Will not go back.

I always go here to get my eyebrows done Ive been going for about two or three years now. The eyebrow lady always does a fabulous job. Friendly people and a clean shop.

Sun Nails on crater rd next to walmart just gave me the worst customer experience over some eyebrows. i saw the woman do another lady in front of me and not put the tweezers she used on her in the sanitary liquid, so when she started to use them on me i asked her to clean them because there was a hair stuck in it. and she didnt apologize, she just used another pair that WERE in the liquid. then she didnt even tweeze my other brow, just stopped and said 8 dollars. i told her i needed my other eyebrow tweezed. she said, where? smh.i told her and everyone in there that i saw what she did and that she needed to work on her customer service or fix my brow. she said it didnt need fixing. i asked for her manager, she pointed, he was sitting beside me in the pedicure chair on his phone. he never got up or addressed the issue. she told me i had to pay, so i did and left. but i wont be back.her pride got in the way. she didnt value me as a customer and she didnt like that i was paying attention.she assumed i didnt want to pay the 8 dollars...really? i could post my to do list for the day which clearly states eyebrows are 8 dollars. it had nothing to do with money. i work in customer service. i am tested everyday. pride has to be out of the way. if u make a mistake and your customer catches it, and instead of apologizing you treat the customer worse, what does that say about you? and if you do this in front of your manager and he does nothing, what does that say about the integrity of your business?oh well, they just lost one.

I Luv diz place would not go anywhere else.... Mii favorite part is wen I ask them to freestyle on mii nails they do a great job.... and imma from up north so I like crazy things on mii nails and they kno how I like it.... everyone in there is very nice and understand English almost perfect....

Poor service, disrespectful and they dont clean their supplies/tools. Worst manicure ever..Nasty...
