From Tina who bid the job to John (the owner) who was always there when I needed him, to the ladies in the office and the excellent installers. What a great company! Save Energy is a local, family owned company that does excellent quality window replacements for historic homes. We have a historic home, and we purchased wood clad replacement windows through Save Energy. They are very familiar with the needs of a historic home and were able to point us toward the right product. They communicated well and responded to all of my inquiries in a timely manner. Their installation team did incredibly fast and skillful work replacing our windows and saving our historic window trim in the process. We were extremely pleased with their services and we are in love with our new windows!

Wow! We went to many construction companies trying to get three windows installed in our condo. Save Energy was more than willing to take on this small job, gave us the best price of the those who would even come out, were on time, quick, clean and did an excellent job. Save Energy Company is a local company who exceeded my expectations for the replacement at our 26 year old windows in our East side Petaluma home. All the employees provided exceptional communication, were all very professional, cleaned up as they worked, very efficient, engaging and personal, even during this Pandemic in October of 2020. I highly recommend using this company. Ask about the zero percent financing options. We are enjoying the benefits of these new windows already. Only wish we done this earlier.

We used Save Energy Co for two phases. The product( windows and sliding doors) are of high quality. All the meeting were on time. The installation was professional and scheduling was a breeze. If I have another project in the future there is no doubt I would use this company again.

I had two front doors taken down to one large door with two side panels and it is BEAUTIFUL! We were doing remodel work when the SIP and Covid 19 all came in to play so these guys had to put off the work for a bit but as soon as they were able to go back to work they installed right away and it looks gorgeous. A pleasure to do business with.

Jim came out and did a consultation. He answered all of my questions and returned a competitive bid in a timely manor for 13 windows I explained we had a time crunch for moving into our house and they really went out of their way to get us on the schedule ASAP. I think we kinda made it hard on them. Jim did the bid on an empty house and we had moved furniture in by the time they arrived, ahead of schedule. The crew put plastic over everything and did a great job cleaning up. I couldn’t be happier, my wife and I are happy to recommend Save Energy Company.

The windows in my condo were original to the 1974 construction and very drafty and noisy. I was nervous to replace and asked my neighbors for recommendation, Save Energy came very highly recommended, not only for quality of work, but also for affordability. Not only was that true, so was their professionalism, follow-up and communication. This was one of the best experiences I have had with a vendor in a long time. I HIGHLY recommend.

Everything about the experience with Save Energy was fantastic.  The initial walk through of the products in the showroom by John and his staff (and Rudy)....to....Tina coming to the house for measurements and reviewing the products with us....to...Miguel and Oscar (and one other gentlemen) coming out to do the install and removal of the old windows.  And then...yes...John coming out to the house to make sure everything was done to our satisfaction.10 windows installed in a single day - and they rock!  Milgard is what we went with and couldnt be any happier with the selection.  Our house is a 1940s single story - with original framing.  How these guys installed the windows was serious craftsmanship.  And now that 30 days and several good rain storms later - not a single leak or issue.  Hence why I waited to write the review...see if the work held up to the rain....yep...it did.Super professional - everyone!  The initial experience convinced us to not even bother with another bid - we just went for it and happy we did.Some other neighbors on the block had Johns crew do their house - thats how I heard about Save Energy - and Im glad that I took their advice.Use Save Energy....or dont bother.

Save Energy is one of the best companies we have ever dealt with. We had more than 3 dozen windows and doors replaced with Simonton products. We were impressed by the professionalism and the competency of Save Energy employees. At the end of each day, they cleaned up after themselves, leaving our house looking as it should.Everything about our experience with Save Energy is a plus. We give this company our highest rating and our sincere thanks for the excellent work they have done at our house. I cannot imagine anyone doing a better job.

Highly recommend Save Energy for your window installation. John and his staff are on point with every detail. The crew that installed the windows were good but I did have to correct a few minor items with them.

We replaced a set of French Doors with a new slider. We were given clear and useful information that enabled us to select the right slider. The preliminary measurements were accurately made. The installation team did what they had to do in a careful, respectful, way. They were very easy to have working. The quality of the work was just first rate. The costs for the job were well explained and very moderate. This was a 5 star job done by a 5 star organization. I would have them back in a heartbeat.

These guys impressed us all the way through the whole process. They were friendly, quick, fair, helpful with our particular circumstances (elderly living in the home). Made a point to schedule a full crew to be able to knock out the whole job in one day. Cleaned up well. Couldnt be happier.

Both my Mom and I had to call multiple times to correct a problem w/ a faulty slider. They were terrible about calling back. A man that has since been fired came out and put a band-aid on the problem that didnt last. The owner John came out and said hed split the cost of a new slider. I made a down payment of $200 that cleared my bank March 5. John advised a couple weeks for order to come through. In early April I followed up again. After further delay the slider was installed on April 24th. Then I come to find out the cost of the slider and realize John didnt split the cost and charged an unfair price! Absolutely, horrible company that didnt do the right thing! Shameful owner and a company NOT to be trusted!

I have gotten to know John G. and his staff quite well while working with Save Energy Company in Petaluma over the past few months. They are a great staff. Very attentive to my needs. Extremely knowledgeable and educated. They are great at returning phone calls, emails and providing information when needed. Its so rare to find a company these days that when you call, they actually answer the phone. They have high quality products and seem to be very affordable and competitive. Im happy with Save Energy and would recommend them to my friends and family.

10 years ago Save Energy came out and replaced all of the old aluminum windows in our fixer upper. This included a beautiful new construction 10x8 picture window which gets compliments every time someone new comes to our house. 10 years later and we finally got around to replacing the broken back door and sticky front door with beautiful new mid-century inspired doors. They look great. Save Energy will always stand behind their work, so if something isnt quite right (and lets face it when is a construction project without one hiccup) they will answer your calls and come and fix it. They are pleasant to be around, dedicated and do a great job. Oh and their prices are really great. The only thing I think they could improve is the sales/design process as you end up with a bunch of pdfs via email and no streamlined way to order, its confusing and results in time wasted, but thats my only complaint really, I think theyre fab and im very picky Lol.

We live in Novato, and Save Energy recently installed a new Milguard bay window in the front of our home. Their pricing was competitive, and the Save Engery team was very informative and professional in their dealings with us.The work started on the date promised, and was completed on schedule. The work crew was very good and experienced, and this was demonstrated by a fine finished bay window that looks attractive from both the interior and exterior of our home. We are quite pleased with the result.We did have a problem with some factory generated paint flaws (construction defect) on the exterior, but this had nothing to do with Save Energy.... in fact they helped prod Milguard along with the fix.Everything is fine now, and we are very satisfied with the folks at Save Energy.
