The pricing was not upfront. The website says fees start at $69 and I ended up paying over $500 for my very simple taxes. Thought this would be a good alternative to turbo tax but I was incorrect.Edit:6/4/2021Called the provided number in response and was given a 40 minute wait. 36 minutes into the hold music the phone starts ringing. The person who answered immediately hung up. No resolution on this. Wish I could give negative stars.

Although a little nervous about having a new person for our taxes, she was very knowledgeable, professional abd I immediately trusted that she would be able to understand all the pieces if my taxes for small business, home, and school loans. Dhe asked me about things to make sure I had them before I asked about them and answered every question I had.

Messed up my return. Now I owe IRS money with late fees and interest.

To not use h&R block they are thieves. All.i needed someone to look over my w2, 1099, etc but they kept upping the charges. Anyone can do their own taxes, you shouldnt get charged half your return just for help.

We have been customers for 20 years and last year your tax preparer messed up our taxes and put it in emerald saving instead of on card. Emerald card messed it up even more when we asked for the money that was put in saving to be put back on card for no fee. Well they didnt and gave us a another advance for the amount in saving. Thought everything was fine until months later when I started getting a bill. Called emerald card they said they saw what the problem was and they would fix it. Never did. We do the emerald advance every year for the past 15 years. I got denied because of your people not knowing how to do stuff right. Always blame game. Emerald advance people say its h and r and h and r say its emerald advance fault. I use this money for xmas and now my kids xmas is in jeopardy because of this and no customer help just blame game. Lost a customer of 20 years because of this and I have informed all the people that were referred to you last year too.

The hands on experience, the H&R Block software is easy to follow, the staff is always friendly and the price is reasonable.

We had an appointment at 5 PM and we were not seeing until after 7 PM. There were other staff members that seemed available but would not help us. We could not get an explanation on what the problem was or what was taking so long, we were not given an apology or any type of care. When we were finally seen by the tax professional they raced to hurry us throughAnd get my wife and I out of the door so they could go home.

I typically file my own taxes, but am painfully broke at the moment. I saw an ad proclaiming the availability of a tax refund advance at H&R Block. I dont have any liens placed against me or any other such claims, so I expected to run into no snags. Although my agent was friendly and welcoming he was unable to explain the banks refusal to approve my refund advance. If there was a separate entity determining the eligibility of a client to receive a refund advance I would take no issue, but I discovered later that AXOS is just a division of H&R Block. So the result of my visit was that I spent an extra one hundred and fifty dollars filing my taxes with H&R Block with no perceptible advantages.

Literally the worst service we have received. Our taxes were completely messed up. Not a single thing was done correctly. And the refund they promise if they get your taxes wrong is wrong. We have currently been in a battle with them for 6 months trying to get the money back that they promised from us. I would not reccomend this place to my worst enemies. They are the worst company in existence.

Horrible experience. Rude representative who made me feel uncomfortable. She made rude comments about my divorce and custody sittuation. She took less than 5 minutes entering in my numbers... very strange. My refund was to be half of what is was the last 2 years so I asked why and she told me it was because I had income from AZ which is not true. I asked what she was talking about and she couldnt tell me so I told her I would go elsewhere. I did go somewhere else and my refund was double what she told me. Very unqualified employee. I wont have H&R block do my taxes ever again.

I dropped off info, they scheduled an appointment, with someone not available that day, came in later(x2week) sat thru them finishing, the rest of the work was supposed to be worked on but never called me. One month later came and got my info to take somewhere else!!! Never started working on it!!! Go somewhere Else!!!!
