The biggest Goodwill store Ive ever been. It even has a (big!) furniture room that opens from 9 til 5:30pm. The whole store is so organized and makes it easier to find things we need. Store assistants are friendly like usual. The store has 4 fitting rooms and all of them are unlocked.

I recently brought in donations and the staff was extremely unhelpful and rude... when I tried to speak to the manager I was given an attitude... I’ll be giving my donations and any money to another non profit but definitely not to this organization again!!!!!

Large store, well kept, friendly helpful staff. Sr discount of 20% off everything on Thursdays. Big furniture room! Lots of nice linens! Large parking lot with Handicap spaces. Donations accepted in back of the store. No restrooms! Use McDonalds Restaurant across the street, or nearby Chevron gas station.

The Petaluma Goodwill is a really nice one, where, yesterday, I was looking for a 3 XL Vest. Not finding one, I decided to see what they had in other coats, and then remembered that I needed a set of Old Fashioned Shear Curtains.I found a set of 56 inch wide by 92 inch long set if the curtains.A couple weeks ago, I found a really nice Western shirt with white snaps on the sleeves and front of the dress shirt, and it was only $6.99.I have a nice New Western Short I bought at Tractor Supply, in Petaluma, for $29.95.They also have a Really Good Selection of Womens clothing, furniture and books.

Just moved into a new studio apartment. Shopped Goodwill. Spent about $150, got most of what I need except a desk. A floor lamp, 2 desk lamps $15. An IKEA desk chair $5. A wall hanging mirror $5. A framed National Geographic world map (huge) $5. Kitchen ware, odd bits. Heavy stainless mixing bowl $3. 4w x 5h bookshelf, painted white $30. It was raining so I got an Eddie, Bauer wool-lined Mountain Parka to wear home $10.If you are not shopping Goodwill, you have more $ than brains. There is a GLUT of stuff in this world, much is new, unopened in the package. I got the only hand can opener worth a damn ( swing away, made in the USA) for $3 as opposed to $11.95 on Amazon where I bought my last one. Saved $9, how terrible is that? There are many other things you could do with your money than push it over the retail counter. Like buy a gun! Learn how to use it! Gun control means being able to hit what you aim at. Practice! Carry on.

Nice clothing selection, Prices are hit or miss here. I would say the books are all overpriced but otherwise pretty standard goodwill pricing. The staff is nice, Will is especially friendly. They recently had a good remodel with nicer dressing rooms and a fresh pain job. It is pretty clean inside although I was once there while somebody made a poo in the dressing room and it seemed like this was normal as none of the staff were as freaked out as I felt they should of been. I took about 6 months for me to return. Overall this is a great store and my #1 thrift store for clothing

Came here for the first time today to donate and decided to go inside and check it out. A good amount of the clothes had stains, looked really old and some pants had holes in the crotch. I dont understand why people donate terrible stuff, just throw it away. If you dont look closely at the clothes before you buy them you might end up with something with holes and stains. On the plus side I did find about 5 things I liked and I would come back.

Every time I go here I find something great. Im pretty choosy too. Im aware of the ridiculous price increases over the past decade. This place still has great deals though, plus its huge.

Lots of like-new items. Staff are friendly. Most items are priced fairly--low enough to be a bargain and high enough to raise funds for a worthwhile cause.

It was OK today, was not impressed with the overall outlook with the merchandise in the store. Looked junkie, warn, not beautiful, display looked junkie, over priced, purses had different price marked on them. Should all be the same price, missing a couple of Drawers on the Dresser. The price value for the furniture was to much on the condition of wear & tear and warn look for the price they were asking for. electronics was not checked for sale condition. Overall not impressed.

Goodwill is NOT a place I support.I do not like the corporate nature of this org.It WASTES Sooo much of what is donated.Prices are high for what they do sell...In Peteluma I Greatly support Sacks thrift store...Or donating clothes etc to the Mary Isaacs homeless shelter directly behind this goodwill location.

I googled the hours of operation and it said 9AM-8PM. The time on my phone was 7:49, and my GPS said I was 5 minutes away. I arrived at 7:55 and the door was LOCKED, the supervisor Laurie would not let me come in and buy a shirt, as she was letting some customers out. I really needed a shirt, as I was going to dinner with my girlfriends parents for the first time, and two buttons on the dress shirt I had on had popped off at work earlier that afternoon. I explaiened the situation and she informed me they were closed. I pointed out we still had 5 minutes, and she said, it doesnt matter, were closed, and you should have got here earlier I looked at her in awe at what she said. I pointed out we still had time your store hours are advertied from 9 to 8 pm and we still have a few minutes. I pleaded with her one more time, as I didnt want to meet my girlfriends parents looking as I did, but morhing she locked the door again and didnt even say sorry. I felt bullied, for her saying I should have been here earlier, and saddened by their customer service, as I have been shopping and donating to the goodwill for most of my life, and tonight, they did not show good will towards me. I understand, people want to get home after a long day more than anyone. I am a retail store manager in Yountville, CA. However, a keeper of a retail opperation should have the integrity level that supports the advertised hours, sales, and mission statement.

Goodwill is a training center for people transitioning back into life without addictions. They are not a not for profit such as St Vincent DePaul, All of their income goes to the corporation, not to help those unfortunate. This Goodwill is always clean, in some kind of order, as well as easy to get a parking spot . Their associates are for the most part very good. They have one or two cashiers that make up prices to fit the person, as they have done this to me, and Never to my advantage. The others stick to the color coded tabs in the clothing. I cant justify giving them more stars because, they dont have a clearly defined by color code legend at a location visible to the costumer, thet dont offer Any assistance, and if you ask.. well MAYBE theyll make time for you. And thats it! I will continue to donate to St. Vincents and Salvation Army. And shoping at GW, when the guy with the slur isnt there!
